Hi, my name is Dan, so call me Dan.

I may not have been roleplaying on this website for long, but I have been roleplaying for a very long time. Without getting too much into detail, just know I've been roleplaying mainly with only one person at a time for a long while, so I'm a bit rusty when it comes to multiple people roleplaying - so that's why I'm here on 1-on-1 RP Recruiting!

A Little About Me

I'm an easily distracted and forgetful guy, so please, feel free to double-post if you haven't gotten a post out of me for a day. I play Animal Crossing, Tomodachi Life, Pokemon Y and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. Feel free to just ask for a friend code to battle or trade! I also like Sailor Moon, Madoka Magica, My Little Pony, and Warrior Cats. I know, very girly, but whatever. My favorite color is purple, if you didn't catch that yet, hah. Other things I like are Disney, Science Fiction novels, and Fantasy stories.

I'm always down for a friend to talk to, so even if none of the plots below interest you, please drop me a line!


How I Roleplay

I'm on break for now, but that doesn't mean I'm any less busy. This means I'll be up much later than usual... like right now. It's 3:00 AM right now as a type, in EST. Depending on the day, I'll post maybe one or two times a day, or sometimes more often. Once again, it really depends. I'm sorry I can't keep a very specific schedule, but at least you don't have to be so quick to respond!

I've done one-liners to paragraph responses. It really depends on how much you give me to work with. If you keep doing one-liners, I probably will not give you as much. That doesn't mean you should feel pressured to write a novel each post! I don't write novels each post either, so don't push yourself too much.

Most people tend to want character skeletons before the roleplay starts. I've never been very good at descriptions and preparing a character before hand - I don't even like delving too much into plot. Unlike many people on this site, I don't see roleplaying the equivalent of co-writing. It's something to have fun with, so I don't usually put too much thought into my character before the actual 'playing starts. Of course, if you really need a sheet from me, it won't kill me. It's just a preference.

Roleplay Plots

Here are a few ideas I have for roleplay. Some of them I've done before, and some of them I looked up online, and some of them are just dreams I've had that I've stacked together into a more stable idea. If your idea isn't on there but you still want to roleplay with me, go ahead and comment about it. It may sound a little self-absorbed to think people will just want to roleplay with me, but there's no way I have all the ideas I like listed. You don't know if you like it until you try it, right?

Rules

1. Only MxM or FxF. I don't do MxF because they always make me be the white knight and it's pretty boring.

2. Please post at least once a day!

3. You get what you give. As said before, I can be okay with one-liners, but then I'll give ya one-liners right back. I'm not roleplaying by myself here.

4. Tell me if you won't get on! Say you have midterms or finals coming up, or a vacation, or an aunt's house visit with no internet for a few days, just give me a heads up.

5. General Rpnation rules apply. No Mary-Sues or Gary-Stus, God-modding, bunnying... all that good stuff.

    Setting: Post-apocalyptic world, situations can be discussed

    Loose Plot: The Dome was constructed to protect the very small colony of people still living on the earth. No one ever leaves and no one ever enters the dome, until of course, someone did.

    Main Characters: Person who enters the Dome and Person who find them.

    Want-Rating: 3.5/5

Hi there!


I would absolutely love to do ‘Forbidden’ — I've always wanted to try out a supervillain and a superhero falling for each other; I've done superhero roleplays before, however they were usually a pairing of either Superhero x Supero or Superhero x Civilian. I consider mupyself to be relatively advanced (if you want to see a typical post of mine, you can look through my most recent posting history).
