Hello friends!
Usually when I'm looking for partners I have a very specific plot in mind. This time is a bit different. I am feeling a little rusty, having been away for a while, and I am more interested in following the lead and being a good collaborator. So, with that in mind: what do YOU want to roleplay? Ideally I'd like to hear from people who have a specific plot/scenario that they really want to try out.
Genres I'm into
Classic fantasy (high and low)
Historical (including time-travel)
Science fiction (utopia and dystopia, space opera, alternate universes, specific plots)
I prefer original but I am happy to take a pre-existing film/book/game etc as a starting point. I am also happy for you to adapt existing characters for our roleplay.
What I like
- Collaborative storytelling and world-building. That means having chats OOC about the storyworld, characters and plot. If there isn't much happening in the way of plot and/or world-building I am likely to lose interest.
- A partner who is good at both introducing plot points and picking up on suggestions. Basically someone who can keep a plot moving. This will likely mean fairly detailed responses and a willingness to double or play side-characters as necessary.
What I'm Currently Looking For
- A long or mid-term roleplay via PM.
- A partner who has some ideas they are excited to try out.
- I am interested in the idea of eventually adding more people to a roleplay to spice things up, but this isn't mandatory.
- Flexibility about response times. I am currently on holiday but I will be starting a new job soon so my response times may vary. To start with I would like to reply at least once a day. As I get busier it will be more like once every day or two. I sometimes drop out of activity for a while, and will understand if you do the same. I often return to roleplays after a long hiatus so please feel free to hit me up if you would like to re-start something, even if it's been a while.
I am more likely to respond to PMs but please feel free to comment here with questions, ideas or encouragement.
