Beutelwolf
The Overlord
Hey guys! After playing Call of Cthulhu I have had an immense interest in occult type roleplays. So even if you don’t have an interest in this plot. BRING ME THE CREEPY
This was written on mobile too! So sorry if things are out of place or don’t make sense.
So anyway! Here’s a little about me and what I look for
Hi'ya. So you survive that long and draging on thing? Well here's the short version for the lazy people. Muse A was chosen long ago (by family involvment) to be sort of an occulus to all powerful and ancient beings. Their work in creating stained glass, paintings, and drawings all are devices which the beings use to make windows. The inspiration for these windows come in the form of nightmares, whispers, and visions. Muse B's family has always been involved in the occult. From first hand to research. Muse B however has taken up to the occult equivalent of demon hunting. They specialize in preventatie and defensive measures against these kinds of things and are an expert in the field. Things go wrong and well the windows start to open. Muse B hunts down Muse A thinking that they're the only ones who have the power to stop it.

So anyway! Here’s a little about me and what I look for
- I’m Jerryn but you can call me Wolf, Pym, Alpha, or literally Hey You. I’ll probably answer
- I’m an overworked college student who plans on graduating next December. But I’m 19 so I’m not super old
- I prefer my partners to be 18+, but will take 16+. Just because the natures of the rp and such.
- I consider myself advanced. When I have muse, I write A LOT. Please post about 3 decent paragraphs at a minimum
- I’m an aroace myself and romance is hard for my sometimes. But it can be added. I have more experience with MxF but can be pushed to MxM
- I play male characters
- TALK AND PLOT TO ME I like making internet friends! I like sending you random things that remind me of our rp and characters at 3 in the morning
this takes place in sort of a Victorian time frame where everyone was kind of into this stuff. I’d be taking Muse A in this
Both Muse A and Muse B grew up on the higher end of society. Both were born into power and influence, but for two very different reasons and both had legacies that stretched far back into English history.
Muse A's family came from a long line of traders and explorers. For hundreds of years, trade fueled through their blood and wealth came with it. As the country industrialized, so did the family. Now, they had their name everywhere and were involved in everything. Success and prosperity followed them wherever they went, until it didn't. Muse A was 5 when the first overtook the family estate. As so, he was the only one who made it out. With no where to go and a plague of nightmares, the rest of his early childhood was spent in the lack of comfort. Asylum bound, any connection he had to his former identity perished. All that remained were the countless sketches and drawing of the faces he claimed to see in some unknown fire. Finally gaining his freedom, Muse A had no where to go. For months he bounced around until he landed in a glazier's office as an apprentice. Talented, his work was exploited by his mentor. As infamy grew so did his mentor's pockets. Of course, he never saw hardly any of it.
Muse B’s story is believed to stretch far back into the Celtic history of the island. Since the beginning, they have been there. With the ties to the island, come their ties to the occult. From early paganistic and celtic witch practices to cults and secret socities, their family was always in the inner circle. In more recent generations, their family has moved on from practice to study. Their interests are purely academic.
The two of them first meet early in their teen years when Muse B's family hires Muse A's mentor to create one of his coveted stained glass pieces. While the adults are conversing, our characters get to talking and seem to get along instantly. Muse B notes the oddness of Muse A's drawings, but doesn't think anything of it. The window is eventually completed with one of the strange patterns. The oddity is passed off as the creator's design.
Years go by. Muse A slowly comes into his own success, but disaster surrounds him everywhere he goes. Famous and thriving, his pieces now decorate museums, churches, and mannors all across Europe. Muse B also grew into their own. Still following their family's interest in the occult, they chose a more active path. Lone heir to the family name, they're known in circles as the leading expert of occult defense.
Everything is going fine, until they aren't. Nightmares getting worse and disasters following them, out of option Muse A finally seeks out the help of Muse B. Looking through his drawings and listening to the unknown languages his brain found, Muse B dimisses it as someone who just needs mental help. That is until months later when Muse B happened to aquire an ancient book. A familiar pattern adorned one of the pages, but they couldn't picture from where. They whisper the unknown language and the lights die. That's when the first creature emerges.
*inter some plot details we can figure out together*
It comes to light that Muse A was chosen as an occulus by ancient beings. Long before his birth, he was chosen to be their eyes and puppet in the human world. His expertise at it was utilized to create windows. Windows that will all open once activated by an unknown object or ritual.
