- About Me:
- What I Expect From You
- Plot A: Bandits and Royalty-Pending/Not Looking Right Now
- Characters I Want to Use:
I'm currently looking for one or two partners for now.
I will update/bump this thread whenever I'm ready for new partners.
I want to keep everything in this thread and will reuse it so the post count is unimportant :3.
- I’ve been RP-ing on an off for… eight-ish years (maybe 9-ish?)? I consider myself semi lit/advanced to advanced depending on my mood (I do try to double check my spelling before sending any posts x3). I’m pretty laid back, and my talking/out of character writing isn’t necessarily indicative of my writing style in character.
I tend to average out at about three or four paragraphs, (general 2-4?). I get inspiration from my partner, so I'll post as much as my partner's gives me ;3.
I lovelovelovelovelove OoC conversations with my partners! (Seriously, I love it, and yeah).
I can play both male and female characters equally, and enjoy playing as both whenever I get the chance. I also love having multiple characters or "doubling" I guess(??). But anything I mention in this post can totally have multiple characters. (Including unimportant side characters who just add to the story).
I’m most comfortable playing MxF and MxM relationships romance wise, however I'm more than willing to A. Branch out into FxF, or other romantic pairings, and B. Include them as side pairings until I become more comfortable with them as "main" characters. I'd prefer to have FxF/whatever as "side" pairings for now, just to ease myself into it.
That also being said, I don’t necessarily need or want romance in everything (usually secondary to the main plot). 9/10 times I'm game for adding romance, I'm just not necessarily always looking for it. I'll explicitly state what RPs are intended to have romance (but also let me know if you don't want it, because I'm pretty sure we can work something out ;3).
However, if I include RPs that are kind of specifically romance? Then yeah, if that's not your thing I get it, but I probably won't change that around x3. Sometimes i want cute fluffy romance!
On top of that if we do add romance, I want it to be relatively natural, the characters need to work together romantically, not forced, conflict, all that fun stuff that makes writing out romances fun. Which is why I'm flexible with RPs intended to have romance. If for some reason the intended pairing doesn't seem to work out? That's super cool! (It's one of the reasons I like having multiple characters, it's fun to just let characters interact).
I don't mind darker/more mature themes, within the website's rules. Generally I'll also list what I intend to be more mature/dark. (Any of my RPs can end up with mature themes obviously, but some are just more intended to be that way?)
I do tend to prefer the threads for posting, I'll deal with PMs, and don't mind using Google Docs, but I won't RP in-character on Discord. I'm sorry but the text bar is too small ;A;.
Overall I'm pretty chill. I don't include pairings I'm uncomfortable with, and I don't include themes I'm uncomfortable with. They're few and far between, so if you somehow manage to suggest something, say something, or do something that I'm uncomfortable with I'll let you know, I won't be angry, we'll be super cool and move on and have fun, yeah?

- I said I tend to write in the 2-4 paragraphs. The exact amount doesn't matter as much, but make sure I can at least interact with the post, otherwise I probably won't respond to it, or it'll slow my posts down. Do not give me something like "She sat in the corner, looking at *x*, feeling glad that he was there." I can't respond to that. I try to give my partners warning if I'm leaving/need/want to stop, and if we're really far into a RP I'll probably be more lenient, but if we're still getting things started I'm liable to leave x.x I'm sorry but I find it really frustrating, and difficult, to reply to responses that have nothing for me to grasp on to.
Like OoC chat? Plotting, just talking, discussing characters, whatever. I just don't like it when my partner doesn't seem as interested in RP-ing as I am.
Be patient! I dislike it when people pester me for posts. I'm generally good at letting people know if I can't reply/apologizing when I don't. If it's been a few days (3+) you can PM me and ask me to reply. But please give me at least three days, before asking for a response/where I am. It's likely that I'm either A. Just not in the mood to RP period, or B. Am very busy. Again, generally I try to let people know if I'm busy or don't feel up to it, but if I don't, just wait a couple of days :3.
Also let me know if you can't be around (or even just a blanket "hey I can only post on such and such days/once a week/whatever"). I'm not likely to pester you much about an RP, but if you need me to poke you, let me know and I'll remember to .
Decent grammar? It doesn't have to be perfect, but it needs to be decent. I tend to consider myself semi-lit/adv to advanced (I don't care about those labels, me mentioning them is more an indication of how I'm used to RP-ing?). I mean, about what you see in this looking for thread is generally what I expect?(I write IC a bit differently than OoC, but still)
Also basics like no Godmodding, if we plot OoC it doesn't mean our characters know what's going on. That sort of thing.
Also just follow the site rules? Yeah? Yeah! We're gonna have so much fun (or not, but that's cool because we'll tell each other and still be cool).

Fantasy medieval setting where all sorts of ‘classical’ mythological beings coexist with humans.
The basic premise is a princess ends up in the hands of a group of bandits after finding out she’s been arranged to be married to the son of another kingdom. Maybe she ran away, or maybe she was kidnapped, maybe she ran away and then kidnapped. Either way she ends up with these bandits who decide to use this opportunity to leave a ransom note with the intent of making a large sum of money.
This RP absolutely requires both of us playing multiple characters. I intend on playing the lead bandit, his second in command, and the prince. I'd expect you to play the princess, and bandits (any genders, any (humanoid) species, for real you can get creative with this). I have a few other bandits in this that tend to be NPCs, but that doesn't quite cut it for me.[/s[
Any plot ideas mentioned here are very vague, and can absolutely be changed. I just want to use these characters, but I don't really have plot ideas for them x3.
Also the romantic pairings, if mentioned, are only for those specific characters. These stories can include multiple characters (even two characters from this list if they fit together), and those pairings can be whatever we decide :3.
Bolded characters are who I'm slightly more interested in RP-ing, but I'm super willing to RP any of them Let me know who you like/what you like :3
Xander: A male demon who tends to lean towards the mischievous/sometimes cruel, but always does what he’s told, and enjoys scaring people. Even when bound to obey commands he’s difficult to control outside of commands, and is prone to moving and evading peoples spaces. He has a deep love for all things chocolate, and it is easily the best way to control him when he’s being obnoxious. ( MxM preferred I think? This can be any sort of time period, some preferences towards modern/semi-modern?)
Florence Grey: A female djinn who is very obedient but also rather conniving. She too is rather mischievous, though far more subtle about it. Whatever she does has the ulterior motive of enjoying the consequences of actions. She’s excitable and a bit boisterous, though again, relatively subdued. (This can be any time period, but I have leanings towards Victorian era?)
Effie Jane Blake: An excitable girl who is a huge fan of a well known group of supernatural beings (werewolves, vampires, whatever...) who ends up getting dragged down a dark path as she gets sucked into their world. (Supernatural setting, realistic/modern though? Maybe urban fantasy).
Blaine Alexander Denton: A seemingly happy, boisterous young man, who is actually quite cynical and jaded, and very closeted (MxM, slice of life, drama and stuff? But also really cute and fluffy?)
Beatrice Urton: A young flapper in the 1920s, fun-loving and a bit of a party girl. She's wealthy and a bit of a socialite, but she's quick witted, with a sharp tongue. ( I don't really have a plot for her but I really want to use her, and I really want a 1920s RP, so we can discuss plots. This can be slice of life, or supernatural, or some combination thereof? (MxF, 1920s U.S. anything else is up to us?).
Levi Ramon: An easy-going, fun loving vampire who has been alive for hundreds of years. He was turned after being attacked by an unknown force (some other supernatural being(s)?) After hundreds of years he blends well with humans, but is still haunted by his past. ( MxF, Slice-of-life leading into maybe like...a supernatural thriller or something?)
Mathilde Valerio: A young necromancer with an affinity for the dead she can control. She's friendly but easily swayed towards the will of others.(She's weird, I'm telling you she's weird...she really likes dead things) (Fantasy setting preferred).
Vincenzo Cipriano: A member of the Cipriano crime family, nephew to the boss. He's fun-loving, but has a dark life full of crime. (MxM preferred, MxF fine. Modern setting, romance, drama, thinking...dating a dirty cop who lets his...actions slide? (helps protect the family?)
