Beware the Boa
Apprentice Herpetologist
Hello!
I'm Monty (or Mon/Min/Mun), and I'm looking for a roleplay partner, or even multiple if there's more than one person interested. I'll put my guidelines, my skill level/examples, contacts, and some plots I'm interested in.
I don't have enough posts to get PMs yet, but I will soon. Until then, just post to this thread if you're interested or have questions? I probably forgot about something but I've been working on this for about 5 hours so I don't really care. Thank you for reading!

Guidelines
- Don't ditch me without letting me know. I get emergencies, but if you're going to be a while and you know it, let me know.
- Must be able to post at least once a day for advanced and semi-lit, and multiple times for rapid fire.
- Decent IC grammar is a priority, but I won't eat you over typos. I'm pretty text speak-ish during OOC, so that's alright with me. (tbh i like to talk like this but i'm obviously capable of proper grammar if text speak drives you crazy or w/e)
- Gender and/or dom/sub (or seme/uke if you say it like that) isn't really a thing I get worked up about, so if you have preferences just let me know.
That's it. Seriously!
Skill Level (Examples)
These are really old, so I can run a test-rp with you if you'd like. I don't do sentences with tildes at the end anymore, thankfully.
Rapid fire. I can push these out in as little as 1-2 minutes.
Asterisk style (c=Ciel)
Ciel: Guess what~
Jaime: What baby?~
Ciel: *sits up slightly, unfurls wings* New wings~
Jaime: *smiles* They're beautiful..
Ciel: *stands up, holding him, wraps wings around us* They're also great as a fluffy cocoon~
Jaime: *hugs his neck, giggles* They are~ I love them..
Journal style
He stepped in zeta, child on his hip and a smile on his face. "Hello, guys~" He chimed, taking a few steps inside. "What did I miss?"
Semi-lit. I've never been tested for speed on these, but I used to be able to do 3 a day very easily. If you reply very fast with these kinds of posts, I'll try to match.
Standing in her empty class-room, she finished the youth potion she had spent the morning preparing. Instead of the smooth skin, jet black hair, and strong young body; the potion's wearing revealed slight wrinkles, diminished strength, and greying at her roots or her hair. This was not the worst of it, if the potion had worn any further, she might as well have turned into a crippled old hag. Over the years, she had fine-tuned the effects, but not the taste; she was still working on that. She lifted the vial to her lips, and drank the viscous, bitter liquid. It did the trick. Her wrinkles faded back into smooth skin, her body had become stronger, and her greying roots soaked up the colour like a piece of yarn dipped in ink.
She waited a few minutes to let the potion take full effect, then she prepped the classroom for her new students.
"Rip off your wings?" he chuckled. "No, don't worry, wing-removal is not on my to-do list." he patted the boy's back, attempting to ease his fears and stop his trembling. "We're just going to my office, it's across the building." he said, turning away from the cages. Freid walked out of the holding room, and down the halls off the orphanage. He ignored everything that wasn't Timothy or in his way, making his trip quite short and smooth. His office was cold when he entered, and it smelled of harsh cleaning chemicals. He sat Timothy on a chair behind his desk, cushioned slightly by Freid's thick weather coat.
"I still have work to do, so explore as you will. Anything you might bump into has an alarm on it, so if you step close to it there should be a low buzzing sound. You can still have your cane until you get the hang of walking around in here, but I want you to get to the point where you are navigating in my office purely from memory." he spoke quickly and quietly, picking up his stack of paperwork. His office wasn't full of much furniture, but it was pretty large compared to a normal office. His desk was tucked in the northwest corner, opposite to the door. A small excuse of a kitchen - a mini-fridge full of water bottles and an electric coffee pot - was beside the door on the south wall. Bookcases lined the east wall, only stopping because the door opened towards the wall. He walked over to the kitchen, pulled a water bottle from the fridge, and walked back over to Timothy.
"I'll take you out to get some proper food in a bit, for now you'll have to make peace with a bottle of water." he said, wrapping Timothy's hands around the bottle. "What do you want to eat?"

Plots
Hello, Monster
Okay, so Hello, Monster is a plot I haven't really thought through. The setting is 100 years or so post-apocalypse, basically a world-wide Chernobyl happened and now there are a bunch of mutants running alongside whatever normal animal (+ humans) survived the radiation. Mutant finds your human character, then we go from there.
Psyche
You're in a psych ward for *reason of your choice*. You're put in a room with another patient, who seems nice enough. You get separated at medication time and you don't see them at breakfast, so you decide to look for them.
Quaint
I can't even title. You're a barista at a coffee shop in a fairly large city, so you've seen your share of strange things; perhaps the strangest thing you've seen was someone normal. Well, normal for a while. Every day they would come in, order the same food, sit in the same spot, eat the same way; the only thing that would change is their weight. When they first came in they looked normal, but as the weeks went by, their weight would drop and drop. They were skeletal. You had to go say something.

Muse B has been knocking on Muse A's door for the past year. Each time they do, they leave folded up notes in their handwriting that contain sweet nothings in them on their door step and then they run away quickly without being caught. One day, Muse B was working and Muse A enters purchasing something from them. On the receipt they leave the words Thank you. As Muse A walks away, Muse B quickly recognizes the handwriting. Will Muse B confront Muse A or will Muse B let Muse A walk away? How will Muse B react when they see who Muse A is? Is it someone they know? Is it someone that's worth their time? Is it someone they'll give a chance? And most importantly, what does the sweet notes do for Muse A?
Those are the big ones, but I'm up for pretty much anything but school-based RP.
