Magic Eight Ball
Bit about me:
I'm brand new to the site, but I've been doing RP on and off for the last decade. I'm 24, in the GMT time zone and have both an undergrad and masters degree in English Literature and Creative Writing. I do work full time Mon-Fri and would be answering on breaks / once I'm done. I am happy to RP in forum or DMs, I range between lit and semi-lit depending on my partner/the world, I love to take on more than one character at a time and (as long as within all boundaries for both myself and my partner) am fine with all mature / 18+ content to be included in the RP world as long as we remain within site rules.
My ideal partner:
18+ at the very least, if you're over 21 that would be great for my own comfort levels if we decide to take our characters down a romantic route. You'd also be in the semi-lit to lit range and have a clear idea of the character and world you'd wanna build with me because I've had a lot of experiences of people responding with 1 line to something that's taken me 30 mins to get right and I'm just a bit bored of it. Please feel free to tell me when my plot ideas suck or when you think something would be better if done in another way, etc, I love getting constructive criticism on my RPs!

- Alec, 20s, he/him, mlm, security (and occasional assassin) for a capitalist corporation that want to destroy the remains of Old Humanity
- Zillah, 20s, he/they, nblm, sex worker / thief, leader of a small resistance group that is going against an oppressive government
- Sunshine, 20s, they/them, nblw, tech specialist recluse, usually roped into adventures they don't want to be part of
Fantasy
- David-Jean, 20s, he/they, nblm/nblnb, medium who can't control his powers and accidentally ends up best friends with ghosts all the time
- Jackson, 20s, he/him, mlm, partly demonic in blood but with no real control over any special skills enhanced by the bloodline
- Hunter, 20s, he/him, mlw/mlnb, drummer in a band who's also a werewolf and a loudmouth

think cyberpunk vibes for these
- After the destruction of Earth, mega-corps took over the different segments of humanity left over. Some are benevolent, but the one we find ourselves in are not. Character A and B try to form a resistance.
- In a world where tech has replaced organs, Character A is in debt and working jobs they don't want to be doing to paying their bills off (hitman/thief/etc), Character B is a target who gets wise before A can complete the mission. The two have to work out why B was the target and how to get A out of the contract that will certainly kill them if they fail the mission.
Fantasy
think Southern Gothic vibes for these
- There's a mass rebellion of demons who have decided to leave hell en mass, not because they want to invade earth, just because the working conditions in hell are awful. A little bit of a slice of life comedy as Character A and Character B adjust to their new lives together. Preferably one will be demonic and one won't be, but could also be both being demonic and sharing a house or something similar.
- A new werewolf/vampire rolls into town, what they don't know is there's already a werewolf/vampire in town who's very territorial and would like to politely ask the other to leave, but after they meet there's a tension in the air and neither is sure if this is attraction or disgust.
