Hello everyone, I'm Phoenix. This is my first time posting here, but I've gotten the itch to get back into roleplaying. Overall, I've been roleplaying for about 12+ years on and off on different platforms and have gotten into world building recently. I do have a plot I have in mind, but I'll go more in-depth with it in DM's since I usually run into questions from my partners. For an overall idea, it is an isekai adjacent plot that will be action adventure themed. And if what we discuss doesn't scratch your itch, then I'm pretty open about other plots within the fantasy genre in any time period. To see if we'd be a match, I'll go into a bit about myself below, and you are more than free to DM me with whatever questions you may have or if you're interested.
Age: Be 20+ as I am 25 myself. Non-negotiable, since I'll cover darker themes from time to time.
Length: Most of the time I'll write about 2–5 paragraphs for all around situations and condense myself down to 1-2 for actions that are happening quickly (like combat and conversations). However, I'm not wholly strict on someone matching me, though I do ask for at least enough for me to respond too. Really, just not one liners
Grammar: Again something I'm not strict on, I'm not an English major, just a dude looking to explore some ideas and refine others. I'll personally make the occasional mistake or two that will get past me even when I review what I'm posting. But, as long as what we're writing is comprehensible, then I'm fine. I do ask to stay away from text talk and use the third person, but that's about it.
Activity: I work and have other hobbies outside of roleplaying, however I try to make a point to respond every other day, if not then at least once every 3–5 days. On days that I feel flowing with ideas I'll certainly write more, but those days come and go. I will let you know if I need longer, so I just ask for patience.
Romance: This is not a requirement for us to include, and is always relegated to being a subplot within any story that I'll personally write. If it's something you want to cut entirely, that's perfectly fine with me as well.
Characters & Doubling: To start, I only roleplay oc x oc. While I don't mind doing something in a canon universe, I'm not comfortable roleplaying specific characters. But, in most plots I write, I will take on the role of multiple NPC's and give some of them just as much time or even more time than my MC, depending on how the chemistry is between the characters. I don't require my partner to introduce side characters, but you are welcomed to do so. Otherwise, I'll only do this in other roleplays as long as people want that.
Contributing: Only a quick thing about this, since I've had people be hesitant in the past. While plots, I make are written within specific worlds I have built, do not be afraid to offer suggestions or make things up (within reason). I can give general rundowns of how the world works, otherwise you're free to create within those bounds. Most of what I have written and planned is in regard to the main story and a few side plots here and there. If you have any fun ideas for a side plot or even then the main story, do not hesitate to share.
Communication: I'm not always the chattiest person towards the beginning of things, depends on the vibes, but once we get into the swing of things I can go on talking in OOC.
Pairings: Pretty much will work within most pairings, most comfortable sticking with MxF & FxF, but I've done MxM before so I hardly mind.
