Hello, I'm Punkie, and I'm a 22 year old university student who's majoring in computer science, minoring in literature. I'm looking for some new, literate, long term partners for roleplaying!
I've been here awhile, and I used to have an old thread around here, but it's gotten packed with comments so I wanted to start off fresh. I also wanted to clean up the thread a bunch to make it more organized and easy for potential partners to navigate. Thanks for checking it out, and I hope I find a partner!
- I consider myself very literate, and will match my partner in almost any situation. I can do literally paragraph after paragraph, believe me.
- I'e been role playing for about 10 years now!
- As I said before, I'm 22 years old, so if that isn't in your range of comfort i understand.
- I pretty much only play girls, I really apologize if that isn't ideal for you.
- I don't usually tend to double, but I may consider it if I'm craving the RP enough!
- I'm okay with roleplaying on here through thread or PM. I also have a server on Discord for roleplaying as well.
- I feel as though I'm only looking for someone who's at least 18, but I'm not looking for any NSFW plots anyways so this is a loose rule.
- I want someone who is at a minimal of semi-literate; I know i said I can write paragraph after paragraph, but you don't have to be advanced! As long as you're giving me a paragraph or two of good content to work with, I'll be happy.
- Looking for someone who could possibly be long term, and I would prefer frequent replies. It's cool if you get busy, I get it, but please try for a reply a day if possible. (Loose rule! I'm a patient person :3)

I will play as : Farmer
Genre : Romance, drama, feels, etc.
Plot : Farmer is originally a city girl. She lives in an apartment with her boyfriend - he's abusive, but she doesn't have sufficient funding to support her own living situation. She has nowhere to go, no one that really matters to her, and no solid plan for what comes next. Then, she gets news that her grandfather has died, and he left his old farm to her. Though she has no idea about this mysterious place called Stardew Valley, and hasn't the slightest idea how to farm, she realizes this is her opening to a completely new beginning. To go somewhere she's never seen, where no one knows her, and she can take control of her life and heal. Upon arriving, she sees the farm is in shambles and needs lots of work. She has no idea what she's doing, but god is she going to try to figure it out. Along the way, she makes some new friends that help her out, and possibly help her get through some of the old trauma she'd been suppressing.
Additional Thoughts : My thought process for this was halfway angsty, halfway heartfelt and amusing. It feels like when most people write for their farmers, they know how to farm naturally; I liked the idea of having a farmer who has literally no idea what they're doing. Probably the kind of person to be like "Oh yeah, I totally know how to do this." and then messes it up right after. I wanted to add in a bit of sad background to it as well, with a past that has abuse from another person that might affect the way she acts around people. Yadda yadda, I think you get the idea I' going for with this one.
Destiny [The video game]
Looking for someone to play : Asher Mir
I will play as : A human child OC
Genres : Hurt/comfort, family, platonic, drama, etc.
Plot : [Imagine the timeline landing somewhere at the beginning of Destiny 2] While the attacks are happening at the beginning of Destiny 2, a human family from Earth is attempting to flee. The family consists of a mother, a father, and their young child. Once on their ship, they have no particular destination in mind, they're simply trying to flee wherever they can as quickly as possible. Their ship takes heavy damage as they escape, and they realize they need to find a place to land as quickly as possible. They prep to attempt to land on IO, but never land as intended. Instead, they crash onto the planet, the ship going down in flames. The mother is the only survivor, and she drags the bodies out of her husband and child. A ghost arrives watching the mother bleed out, intending to bless her with light and give her a second chance as a guardian. Seeing it, she begs it not to, saying she couldn't bear to live after this ordeal. Instead, she begs the ghost to bless her child, to allow her a chance at life instead. The ghost hesitates, but ultimately decides to do this. The child becomes the only survivor of the ship; a lone human on IO. She wanders for some time, before she finally comes across another living being; an irritable awoken by the name of Asher Mir. He's kind of frightening, but he's willing to give her a hand. He might be an irritating jerk sometimes, but even Asher isn't horrible enough to turn away an orphaned child. Though, what he doesn't expect is the bond that they'd form, one where he'd become a mentor, and where they'd give each other the family they both needed.
Thoughts/Ideas : My thought process is something like this: Asher Mir is a jerk, but he's got a good enough heart to accept helping a child in need. He's not a huge fan of children, thinking they're obnoxious and annoying, but this one is different. Because of her trauma, she's quiet, wary, constantly anxious and exhausted. She takes interest in the research he's conducting, and he's willing to maybe slightly open up enough to actually try and explain some of the things to her. She becomes a good pupil to him, and he assumes the position of a mentor/teacher. He thinks nothing more of this; he doesn't believe in emotional attachment, he's simply assisting a helpless child and telling her about things he's looking into anyways. However, they end up actually bonding, and the emotional attachment is inevitable. Eventually she grows on him, and he becomes her new family. However, the fun twist on this is that she becomes like family to him too - Asher is a man in distress who is dying and frustrated, dealing with his own trauma, and the two can likely relate to that in some senses. Honestly, I have a lot of thoughts and ideas for this plot, if you're interested I'll be more than happy to elaborate more.
Looking for someone to play : Arach Jalaal
I will play as : A teen guardian OC
Genres : Hurt/comfort, family, platonic, drama, etc.
Plot : I don't have a super developed plot for this one, but I want to do something with an edgy teen with an attitude. A character who is a guardian and is suppose to be taking their responsibilities seriously, but instead acts entitled and has a sharp tongue. A character who acts out because she's young, has some kind of past trauma she's ignoring, and doesn't want anything to do with being a guardian. Someone, probably one of the vanguard, decides to place her in a faction so she can have some mentorship/guidance, and she chooses Dead Orbit out of the three. Jalaal is tasked with figuring out how to handle this kid; it's no easy task, and probably doesn't go well at first, but I'd imagine something where he slowly gets her to warm up a bit and open up about why she acts the way she does, and eventually forms a bond with him in a platonic/family kind of way. We can develop something more if you're interested!
Infamous: Second Son
Looking for someone to play as : Reggie Rowe
I will play as : A conduit OC
Genres : Enemies to lovers, romance, hurt/comfort, slow burn, action, drama,
Plot : During the events of the game, another conduit is running loose in Seattle. She's trying her hardest to be a good person, but runs into Reggie at a time where he's particularly against conduits. He tries to insist she needs to be taken away or held prisoner, but Delsin suggests against that and insists he will handle it. Reggie isn't exactly enthusiastic, but ultimately accepts it. She comes around a lot to talk with Delsin and help plan things with him, so she has quite a few interactions with Reggie, and ultimately she finds herself maybe actually having feelings for him. She wants to ignore this though, knowing what his thoughts are on conduits like herself. Reggie is slowly starting to realize that she's growing on him too, though he'd never admit that. At some point, it gets to the end of the game where Reggie is going to die, and she actually is able to come in and save him, maybe at the cost of her own pain in exchange. It's then that they're able to actually express that they care about each other - and maybe Reggie has finally come to terms that conduits aren't so bad, since his brother and now this person are two of the people he cares about the most.
Dishonored
Looking for someone to play :The Outsider
I will play as : A female OC
Genres : Romance or Platonic, feels, soft plot, possible drama
Plot : Someone new has come to the void for a visit to the Outsider. He had picked her at random, but ended up for a big surprise. When she arrives in the void, she doesn't seem to show any fear, but is rather intrigued by the beauty of the void itself. When meeting the Outsider, she actually strikes up conversation, much to his surprise. She has a gentle heart, talks softly with a gleam in her eyes, and doesn't see uneasy around him. At some point, she realizes she's dreaming, and she actually appears to be disappointed in that fact. She's under the impression that none of this dream is actually real, and seems to think she won't be coming back to that place again. She says something absentmindedly about how she's a lonely person, and how of course the one time she finds someone to have conversation with it's nothing more than a fictional dream. The Outsider takes all this in with deep consideration, unsure of how to react to such a person. When she leaves, he thinks of what to do for his next move, and decides to go off of the impulse that he always does; keep trying things out and see what the human does. He brings her back again, and she seems pleasantly surprised to be back. They speak for awhile again, and again she seems disappointed when she remembers it's simply just a dream. The Outsider decides to tell her that it's not simply just a dream, that this void is a real place, and that she is welcome to keep coming back if she wishes. She seems pleased with this idea, and agrees to continue coming back. He's surprised that she continues to come back, but she does every night, and the two talk for hours. Eventually, they form a bond with each other, one that The Outsider has never known. Yadda yadda add in extra pieces for angst and drama in there because it's Dishonored, and we've got a good plot.
Fallout 4
Looking for someone to play :Maccready
I will play as : Sole survivor, child AU
Genres : Family feels, angst, action, all the fallout drama man
Plot : This is essentially the exact same plot as Fallout 4, except it's a swapped AU. For this AU, instead of Sole Survivor being one of the parents looking for their child, they're a child looking for their missing surviving parent. I'd imagine it'd be a bit more chaotic, and that a character like Mac would be especially sympathetic/willing to help because of his soft spot for kids (since he's soft for his own kid). Feel free to add in the other companions into the mix too if you'd like. But yeah, basically the same plot, just a swapped AU with a teen who is really anxious but is pretending to be strong and know what they're doing.
Star Wars
Who I'm looking for you to play : Younger Obi Wan (Like from the prequels)
Who I will play : A teen jedi OC
Genres : Family/platonic relationship, angst, action, humor
Plot : Kinda vague idea honestly, but I was thinking about playing as a character who has the force, but has no idea what it really means/the significance of it. Probably a bratty/entitled/non caring kind of kid, snarky, and doesn't know how to use her powers properly. Obi Wan pays this kid no mind at first, until he realizes that she actually has the power of the force within her, and tries to explain to her what that means. She doesn't really care, dismisses him, not wanting to hear anything this stranger has to say, but he insists on this. Some kind of adventure of Obi Wan trying to teach this kid how to use the force, and the two eventually growing on each other in some kind of way. We can develop this one more.

WORKING ON NEW IDEAS
- Chernobyl related plot? Something about the Chernobyl disaster, maybe some kind of dynamic between the plant workers before it all went down and blew up. Something kinda historical I suppose? Very vague and needs planning.
Themes : Romance, kingdom, forbidden love, slow burn
In a kingdom where magic is forbidden(unfairly) resides a woman who was born of magic. She lives within the kingdom walls, and has decided to take on the role of finding any others in danger of the kingdom by taking them in and keeping them a secret while also taking care of them. She's essentially the mother of those born of magic. She takes great interest in people, and often sneaks away despite the risk to interact and observe. A knight who is the right hand of the king, loyal and strong, is often bored of always being contained to the castle walls, and tends to sneak out himself to try and find some fun. One of the nights the the two sneak out, they meet by chance and befriend each other without knowing who each other really are - she is hiding that she is born of magic, he is hiding that he is of any status within the royal guard, they simply meet as two regular strangers. They become friends, fall in love, and eventually the knight finds out her true identity. He then must decide where his loyalties truly lie; to the corrupted king that he has followed forever, or the woman who he loves and has shown him the true meaning of goodness.

A woman who is in an abusive relationship very greatly wants to go to a festival that she usually wouldn't be allowed to go to, but her boyfriend is out of town, and she has a chance to sneak out and go to it. However, she stays too late, and by the time she heads back it's dark and storming, and she gets lost. Giving up, she goes to the nearest house she can find - an old Victorian household that almost seems abandoned. Inside lives a vampire, the last of his kind, a man who is feared by most although he really isn't an evil vampire as everyone wants to stereotype him as one. He decides to let her in, and she stays over. She doesn't seem to fear him at all, even when she learns he's a vampire, because he has shown her great kindness and has become her friend. He realizes just how lonely he is, and having a friend for the first time in forever feels great. More plot twisting and adding is available depending on my partner.

A child from an abusive household finds herself always indulging in video games - particularly, one that is her favorite. (can be one of the above games I'm looking for, or we can make one up for a particular genre). One night, she plays her usual favorite game, and when she goes to bed, she finds herself submerged in the world of this video game. A random npc character within the game comes across her, noting that she doesn't seem to be from this world. He decides to try and help her out, and the two go on an adventure to try and figure out how to get her home. While on the adventure, it turns out that they grow on each other like family, and the more time she spends in this world the less she wants to actually go home. Maybe she decides to admit to her companion what kind of distress she has at home, and ends up not wanting to go back at all. Open plot for adding more ideas and creating our own twists.
ALTERNATIVELY : Person isn't a child, and is rather an adult, in which we could twist this into a romance of some kind.
