Hello all and good evening.
First I would like to thank anyone who clicked on this for their time, and I hope this post finds you well and happy.
It is with a heart heavy with confusion that I come before the mass of typists with brilliant imaginations in search of someone who might be able to help me with an affliction.
I desperately want to rekindle my love of a fandom that once meant the world to me. As a Charles Xavier by nature, I found myself, back in the woefilled summer of 2011, a freshly graduated high schooler. I also happened to be madly in love with my childhood best friend, who just happened to be my Erik.
As life would have it, our summer romance ended in the worst heartbreak I have ever experienced. With this heartbreak, my love of a fandom, a story, so impossibly dear to me was damaged.
It has been six years since that ill-fated romance shattered itself like glass on concrete, and I find myself wondering, would it be possible to filled the idle ache in my heart with the pen of another? I'm definitely not saying we'll fall madly in love and run away to a beach to watch sunsets while missiles threaten the Cold War era world, but perhaps with the help of a new friend, I might be able to find joy in something that I still love ardently.
And so, if there is an Erik wandering these forums, and sub-sequentially the life beyond this screen, I would like to offer you my own pen, my heart, and my trust. It would be a great joy to meet and work with you, if you are out there.
Thank you,
ACS
