Looking for a Partner in Crime... I mean Role Play...

I am looking for a long term role play partner.


My requirements: (Though we can work some of these out)

• Needs to be on frequently. I am able to post multiple times a day, so my partner should be able to post at least twice a day.
  
• Needs to give me at least three sentences per post.
  
• I prefer to role play as males, so if you do not like to do MxM but you want to do a romance, this will not work.
  
• Needs to be able to RP over PM. It is just easier for me.
  
• Needs to have decent grammar. Basically, I just want to be able to understand what you write.
  

That's it! I don't mind swearing, I don't mind adult themes (within the rules of the site), and I love having a committed partner. However, I am not big on fandom role playing. Other than that, I am open to any ideas.

(Taking inspiration from Sarah J Maas's Throne of Glass series and Court of thorns and roses and Anthony Ryan's Bloodsong series)


I quite like magic and fairies, but not the normal fairies. The fairies are called fae and have pointed ears,elongated canines,heightened senses, enhanced speed and strength and no wings. They are more beast and are very possessive of their mates. They also have a animal form they can shift into and often one elemental magic which can be very powerful, also immortal and stop aging at 20-25. Also they are vulnerable to iron


Anyway my idea is about two 17 years olds going away to an academy to train. One from a esteemed fae family (I'm thinking the large country is divided into something like 13 segments, with 13 Families ruling a section each, and the family strongest at the moment rules over them all) and she/he accidently shamed them, and the only option was to go to the academy or be cast out. Another from a poor and disgraced family said to have weak human blood in their veins, the worst accusation, so she/he hopes to leave their bitter family name behind and have a new start at any cost.


The reason why they are going to the academy reluctantly is because it is a extremely harsh place, used for making only the strongest. When you enter you are stripped of your family name and title and your rights, you are treated the same as all the others, no matter what blood is in your veins.Also by harsh I mean really harsh, with a go to bed at midnight and get up at dawn time schedule with mean training where you are beaten to a pulp or drained of energy from magic usage. And punishments are harsh,iron-tipped whips even used sometimes. Another thing is out of the 2,000 that go in, only 200 come out and graduate, though the ones who graduate are extremely powerful and often quickly offered a place in one of the families courts.


Finally the world has been divided into thirds, one third goes to the humans, with two thirds going to the fae. The humans have a population of 10,000,000 and are very cramped, but they have a short life span,are weak and gave a high fertility rate. However the fae have a population of 2,000,000 due to a low fertility rate and their competitive and sometimes bestial attitude which leads to battles for Iand and dominance. This is mostly what keeps their numbers down.

I was kind of thinking of exploring an AU world with our characters set in the underbelly of a large city with a high population. I was thinking to add supernatural themes, and the city is controlled by five factions, each a different supernatural being [for example we can have a coven of vampires, pack of lycanthropes, gang of shifters, etc--we can discuss this, or even make up beings ourselves or based off myths]. The only thing that unites these factions is hiding away from human eyes and living peacefully among them while controlling the city from the background. So each have their own areas and there is free trade of items [like for example shifters who more easily blend into the humans supply the coven with packed blood, etc etc--again open for discussion depending on what we end up with] and of black money.


So our characters will NOT be set in warring factions, because i think that is a bit cliche, they will however be in two difference factions, perhaps the Male OC [yours] can be in the biggest faction of the city, and mine from one of the smallest, the ones who take the scraps to survive. It'll sort of be like a period romance between the two and a slow development I'm hoping. And what scares the other factions and their own is that no two races have had an union in centuries and if a child were to be born to them it could cause an improper balance in things.


So yep, a bit like that :3 I'm open to any additions, subtractions or ideas you may have. Do you have any ideas you are craving?
