Looking for a male partner!

mayaayam

Cup of tea?
Hello! This is my first time recruiting for someone to role play with for my first role play.

As we role play, there are a few things that I expect:

  1. No one-liners. I don't mind if it is every now and then if you can't help it, but doing it constantly makes it hard for the role play to be creative.
  2. Good grammar. That means capitalization, correct spelling, and commas, quotation marks, and apostrophes in the right places.
  3. No text lingo ("idk", "brb", "lol"). Not in the IC chat of course.
  4. Do not hold back your creativity! I love when the role play takes an unexpected turn. Do that and I will never be bored. :)

Most of the role plays that I have done in the past involved a developing romance between the two characters with certain people or situations that try to prevent it.

I have two types of stories that I remember well. There's the bullied nerd and the high school star athlete. I also have the skilled bodyguard and clever businessman.

For anyone that is interested, please reply and we can speak more about the role play details. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!! ( :D )

P.S. Not interested in my ideas?? You still have a voice! I'm open to new ideas. Just speak your mind.

I am interesting in roleplaying as a male even though I'm a female in real life. I tend to like to avoid cheesy situations however, and not to be blunt but the nerdxjock story is slightly to cliche for my taste (sorry, that was really rude sob// I really didn't mean to have any bad intentions with those words). Um, I have an idea which kind of fit your criteria of "love with obstacles".

1. 100% Perfect Love Story (inspired by the story 100% Perfect Girl) Young kingxArtist

He was one of the top most desired men in the entire world. Handsome, classy, sexy, intelligent...and of royal blood. Who was he? King of Eveland (some country name I made up; can always change the name)...Louise Pierre Haven (can always change the name). His mother had been assassinated when he was only 7, and his father was killed by his own ambition of tracking down his wife's killers. Louise was crowned king at the young age of 19, and many unruly relative and advisors targeted the throne. For years to come, he gained respect from far and wide for his intelligence and strength, and he made Eveland into one of the top countries that people desired to live in. From politics down to lady wooing, he was number 1. A perfect gentleman...who is unable to truly love someone. At least, that was how it was till he met her. Erika Nakamura fit every single criteria for the "perfect girl" in the young kind's mind. A person...who he had never imagined to find any time soon. Kind, beautiful, stubborn, fierce, strong-minded, intelligent, talented, and someone who would even oppose him...a king. Would his love be enough to trap the talented artist into a domestic royal life? Or will something have to change, for their love to succeed?

Your idea sounds great! I would love to give it a try. However, I have never experienced in role plays involving royalty before. But hey, gotta try some time soon. Is there any other details I need to know about this role play?

Hmm, the king become extremely obsessed with the artist, and is extremely overprotective of her due to his past trauma from his mother's assassination. However, she does not know of this because he does not wish to corrupt her innocent mind of the darkness of the real world, and feels suffocated in his hold. Also, he met Erika in a museum, since the CEO he was meeting had brought him to a famous art museum. They ended up talking because she was fighting with one of the museum curators over how they were damaging a piece of art the way they were handing it. The prince is impressed by her fierceness, and tries to talk to her but is rudely interrupted and loses her. This sparks his interest because he had never been rejected by a lady before, nor had he been ever the one to approach either.

They later meet again at a hotel, since as he turns around to talk to her, his father's ring falls off of his finger and rolls to the girl's feet. And that is the first time he actually gets to see her full appearance, and instantly falls in love with her.

But of course. We can always just roleplay that out.

I want to play the talented artist... and yes, please start thread.
Sorry, I was sort of like "I remember seeing somewhere on this post that she wanted to play the female...I wonder where......"

And then I saw the title after asking the stupid question.

Sorry my brain is sort of entering slush mode.

No worries. I have that sometimes too.

Looks like we are good to go! Just a few more questions. Do you prefer first person point of view or third person point of view? And should I begin at the art museum?
I would really prefer third person point of view. I just sound more class that way.

You can, but I'm going to start my character in his private jet as he flies into Japan to meet with the CEO in the museum. Would you like to use anime pictures or real life pictures for character profiles?

Anime pictures are good with me.

Should I introduce my character first?

I'm sorry. Just wait a second. I had to talk to my mom about a couple things.

Um, I think I should get my character off the plane and into the museum first and then we can go from there shmurp?

Alright, take your time.
Are you going to make a character form for future reference? Also, I'm going to use a real person picture. Couldn't find a good enough anime picture.

Yes. I will use a real person picture as well. Makes sense to do so.

I've choose a photo. Should I start setting my character form on the role play?

yes in the character sign up box.

I just want to do that so we each can have a chance to add additional important information to our characters so the other could use it as a reference.

Also I'm starting to think about a love triangle. The king. His body guard. And her. Like such as, the bodyguard always put the king first in his life, even sacrificing his first love to protect the king. But the instant he sees Erika, he is starting to question his loyalty to the king, and is trying to push down the urge to steal her away.

Sound exciting. I like it! I will put my character reference right away so we can get started.

I've posted it. I thought of it from the top of my head. Let me know if it needs a few tweaks to it.

Wow. I'm writing alot compared to that lol.

Um. Maybe some background. Or anything to make her more of an outstanding interesting character that could stand on her own than a typical cliche female role?

sorry trying to post my form but it's not working gyah

It's fine. You're gonna have give me a moment. I'm just letting my mind flow right now.
Alright, posted it. Wow, sorry. I wrote way too much detail.

(just wondering, is this the first you're ever roleplaying? I'm getting slightly confused by the first post on this thread. Or are you just new to this site ^^? Doesn't matter either way. Just wondering.)

Yes. Pretty obvious, I bet. It's been a few months since I done this again. I was focused calculating numbers and equations lately rather than actually using my imagination for once. Sorry that you are dealing with an amateur at the moment.

Oh no, it's totally fine. I don't this often either. School's been a hassle. Finally got some time over winter break hehe. Take your time, I totally understand.

I am interested. I have good grammar in most forum standards. I am creative and do not one line most of the time. But the thing I lack is descriptive writing and I am terrible in terms of romantic relationships.
