hi!! so a quick introduction,
as my username states, my name is thea :^) i've been roleplaying for about six years, but i suppose the previous year doesn't count since i've taken a very long hiatus from 2017 to now. but i'm back, and i'd love to jump back into playing!
i mostly do realistic rp's that take place in small towns or universities. i really enjoy open ended prompts and having my partner create their own character. here are several plots i'd love to try out, and if you're interested in one of them please let me know!

1. [[Romance or Friendship]] It's a late and rainy Christmas eve. Player 1 is working as the barista in a peaceful cafe situated on the main boulevard of a small town. There are no customers until Player 2 enters looking for a place to wait out the rain. They get to talking and we see the story unravel from there! (I want to keep this as vague as possible to allow the other player to create their character in its entirety, from the backstory to personality. You'll be the one to decide how the story will unfold, but I do prefer to keep it as realistic as possible! The story could turn out in various ways, such as Player 2 visiting Player 1 often in the cafe that builds their relationship, or they go out on a date on a rainy Christmas night to have an adventure, or I dunno, they just become friends and learn about each other's lives, it's totally open ended!)
2. [[Romance]] Player 1 has decided to move out from the big city to a small town upstate and pursue their dream career. They transfer to the town's university. Player 1 moves into a small apartment and looks for a roommate, who turns out to be Player 2. As they get to know more about each other, they begin to realize that the other has been the person they have been looking for in life. (This story can be milked to be more interesting, just need some collaboration!)
3. [[Adventure]] Player 1 has decided that they need to escape from daily routine and life's tedious repetition and finds themselves backpacking through Europe with all the money they have been saving up so far. Player 1 runs into Player 2 in a hostel where they exchange their travel adventures and decide to trek on together. Player 1 begins to learn more about themself and the world around them, with a little help from Player 2.

i know these may sound a bit boring, but with some imagination i'm sure the stories can turn out to be full of substance! i've only ever played mxf roleplays, but i'm willing to try different roles and stories so just let me know what you prefer!
some things i'd like to point out:
1. i think i've said this enough but just to reiterate, i'm really looking for someone who can develop a story without my guidance. the point of these vague plots is to create a story with someone who can build off with just a simple prompt. imagination is key, my friends!
2. i really need a partner who is understanding about scheduling! i'm currently in uni so there will be days that i may not be able to respond as much as other days, but i certainly will be active once i'm finished with my school priorities for the day.
3. considering my experience in rp'ing, i really would like to have a partner who can make lengthy and coherent responses. i do enjoy reading as much as writing, so please feel free to write your heart out when we play!
4. 18+ please!
5. communication would very much help. if you do not enjoy the story anymore, just let me know, i totally will understand! i also hope to communicate will with my partner ooc, since without a good dynamic we may find playing dry!
