Hello! Mayah here! This is officially my second post on rpnation. This however is my first roleplay post! Here I will be posting a bit about what I look for when it comes to 1x1 rp!
First off, 1x1 roleplay is the only kind I do. I am not fond of group roleplays abd never have been! Now that we have that out of the way...on to roleplay preferences!
The top genres I do include; romance, fantasy, and slice of life. Now I know I know.....those are BORING roleplay genres. That my friend...is where you are wrong! I love these three genres the most because there is just so much you can do with them! The options are endless when it comes to plots, oc's, story development! You could do a simple human x human plot. Orrrrrrr you could do an exciting, blood pumping, romantic plot between a smol human girl and the evil, sadistic, king of the underworld! My point is...when you see romance, fantasy, and slice of life don't think of your boring, basic plots...think about the endless options that you can choose from! Get creative and take your mind to places it has never been!
Wow....erm...this is awkward. I totally geeked out up there ^^^^ Sorry about that. In the midst of my ranting I left out a few of my preferences! Most of the plots I do have some ties to romance....romance is my thing...what can I say? I'm a hopeless romantic. With that being said I prefer to roleplay with literate males. This just calms some of my nerves seeing as me and all of my oc's are straight. I don't say this to hurt anyone' feelings or trigger anyone. I say this to get it out of the way so that there is not any awkward tension when we start to roleplay!
So yesh...I've gotten almost everythING out of the way! Lastly, I do prefer that we both come up with the plot. This means that we are both throwing ideas until we find something that makes both of our hearts happy. Pre-made plots are fine with me but I LOVE when me and my partner custom make a plot for our specific roleplay.
