The cab pulled up to the house and I looked it over before rolling my eyes. I can't believe my step mother kicked me out. What makes it ever worse is my father, let her. I scratched at the bandages covering my wrist then I grabbed my bags and guitar case and walked inside without knocking. "Hello," I call out and a voice from the back of the house responds. "I'll be there in a second, take a seat in the living room please." I walk into the room and sink into one of the odd random chairs scattered throughout it.

Jacob and Miracle talked while walking around the house, as they walked past the living room and sat on the couch across from the new person . They looked at the person "Aye what's you name" Miracle asked as she crossed her legs one over the other. "I'll be up" Jacob said as he stood and went up to the attic wear most people went to hide too smoke weed. Miracle nodded as looked at him, leave.

A woman walked in and introduced herself after the other girl left. After explaining the rules to me, they led me to my new room and stripped searched my bags. I saw another bed and wondered who my room mate is going to be.

Jude strolls into the room carrying a half eaten honey bun in his hand. He munches on it a bit loudly and scans over the girl who had recently entered. He then follows Miracle, seeing her travel upstairs. He is much too busy eating to say hello.

Karson follows her brother, holding his hand. Once they enter the room however, Karson lets go of him and lets out a high-pitched, excited scream. She loves to see more people in the house, so she quickly introduces herself.
"Hi! I'm Karson! I'm so glad you're here, now!"
She hugs the female as if she is a long lost friend and claps her hands together. The teen then follows her brother, knowing she shouldn't be listening in. She chews on the inside of her cheek, trying to ignore the mild call of hunger from her stomach.

Miracle sat by some girl as looked back seeing Jude "Hey Jude" she said as she got out of the circle and turned to him "So the new girl how long do you think she'll last before she wants to escape" she was handed a joint she took two drags before passing it. Jacob went down stairs to get something to drink he walked passed the new girls room "What is your problem" he asked looking at the two girls as he leaned on the door frame

"Hmm... Maybe a week. She'll last until it sets in that she can't hide from us. She's too insecure to stay in control; she'll break."

Jacob threw his head back as he walked away, he knew it was about too be girly and he didn't want to stay. he went to the kitchen and grabbed some soda's and went to the game room to play some games. "I say 5 days" she bit her lip like usual when she took the joint and dragging it she was going to keep that joint between them two.

"Well, she was right, but I'm sure you'd be pretty without it, too."
The girl sticks her tongue out at Jacob as he leaves, teasing his tough attitude.
"Not everyone is grouchy here; you can hang out with me if my brother lets you. You just don't want to get on anyone's bad side, okay? You be you, and nobody will give a damn in a few weeks."

Jude snatches the joint away from Miracle, playfully and keeps it for a while. He grins blowing smoke into rings towards her.
"Kar' is probably talking that chick's ear off; that's the true test of patience."
He stretches his arms, growing bored with this hidden crowd and yearning to check on his sister.
"Hurry up; let's go see if they have ice cream in the kitchen!"

"We have..... COOKIE DOUGH FLAVOR"
He cheers lightly, intimating a crowd of onlookers and scoops some onto his finger childishly. The male pokes Miracle's nose, leaving a dot of ice cream.

"Mom died; dad is out of the picture. And, interesting enough, people really hate to have a girl with a penis dropped on their doorstep, no matter how cute or loving she tries to be. But I suppose the real reason is my brother lashing out when adults treat me like dirt. The reason I get to stay here with him....? Oh, some doctor found out food is my enemy. I don't really care to be fat, so their therapy is not going to work."
The girl giggles and blushes, knowing she spoke way more than she had planned. She is not embarrassed by her story, however, and she shrugs like it's just another bedtime tale.

Melody nods to herself. "My mom died. That's why my father remarried to the monster. They're having a baby." she kicked her other suitcase suddenly, sending it flying into the corner of the room. "So of course it's out with the "bratty step daughter" and in with the new "perfect baby"" She said bitterly.
