Hiya everyone! I'm Starshine or Opal if you prefer~ Pronouns are she/her.
I'm here to find a partner for a long-term HP RP! (Years 1-7 and further past that if possible) I get overwhelmed easily so I'm sorry if you ask and I don't reply, most likely I've found a partner or simply need time to respond. My life at the moment is very unpredictable, and I may not be able to respond for weeks at a time depending on the situation, but I will let you know beforehand just in case! I use RP to cope mostly, and lord knows I need to cope rn so I should be active in the next few weeks! Now for the specifics, though I'm keeping it simple. (also if u think we support JK in this house think again u fool)

What I'm looking for and other stuff |
- Semi-lit to lit, just maintain proper grammar and punctuation and we're all good! typos happen of course!
- Willingness to talk and be friends outside of RP! I love talking OOC and discussing the plot and our OCs! I'm on discord, and here on RPN!
- Please no god-modding or some immortality shtick unless it's apart of the plot, it's a bit overdone though. Some plot armor here and there is fine, but let's not taint the potential of the plot!
- No forcing each other's characters to do something before we have discussed it. It's highly irritating to act on impulse without discussing it beforehand, let's discuss the story so we can sort it out!
- I RP primarily with OCs. I have several that can work alone or as one complete story, if you don't like OC RPing than we probably aren't meant for each other, sorry!
- I have a lot of ideas but please don't be afraid to tell me yours!! Be self-indulgent folks!
- I love challenging canon and what potential it holds, I do the same with my OCs and if you want to strictly stick to canon then we may not be a great match!
- When it comes to eras, I mostly play the golden trio era or marauder era. Mostly golden trio though...
- This isn't a requirement, though it is preferred that you have read the books or know enough details about them to know the full story. If you've only seen the movies, that's fine! I just want a more informed person on the universe as a whole and the events detailing them.
- I like darker or perhaps edgier themes as well as more light-hearted ones, but I do wanna expand on some darker storylines if you're okay with that!
- Let us not downplay mental illness if such themes persist, as someone who suffers from such things I would like to portray them accurately so if you are unfamiliar let me know, I don't want to trigger anyone!
- I do NOT do script RP. Almost always mirror, paragraph, or novella style only.
- I'm over 18, if you're uncomfy with that, don't interact with me, plain and simple folks.
- I don't do forum RPs, only in PMs or on discord.
- I don't usually do AUs unless it strikes me as particularly interesting. Talk to me about it though if you have any ideas!
- I'm fine writing all genders with any pronouns at all! Also fine with any ship pairing as long as it's legal and not nasty. That means MxF MxM FxF or anything in between! And no fetishizing any pairings, please.
- I'm also fine with romantic, platonic, familial, and any other dynamics. Even enemies!
- If you have any triggers please let me know beforehand. I only have one, and that would be animal abuse.
