GENERAL

Jukebox is basically an intergalactic trouble-maker, and a die-hard believer in aliens. A spirited and quirky joker, who’s literally never not thinking about space. Might be an extraterrestrial searching for her mothership.

She’s a clever, spirited and socialable girl, who likes to entertain and be the center of all attention. Juke might seem like a bit of an airhead at times, but she is quite smart—and when it comes to technology—especially computers—she’s a natural. Her biggest hobbies are dancing, scouting for UFOs, making music and playing it to her pet snake.

She and Stereo grew up together, split a bedroom in their adoptive mother’s house, and are more or less inseparable. Of the two of them, Stereo is the one who’s always slightly... more of everything, and Jukebox is the one that is forced to drag Stereo’s messed up ass home when she’s fallen off her skateboard, tumbled down a set of concrete stairs, or face-planted on the sidewalk.

BIO

Jukebox and Stereo grew up together in an orphanage. They had both been sent there at quite the young age, and had connected almost instantaneously. When Jukebox was to be adopted at the age of thirteen, and to be separated from her best friend, they decided to run away together, with Stereo as the instigator. They lived in the streets, surviving by stealing and pickpocketing, before a woman by the name of Teresa eventually found them hiding in a dark alley and decided to take them in. Now they live in Marville Heights with a surprisingly normal life.

Having a roof over their heads and food on their plates, Stereo and Jukebox didn’t change their ways in the slightest, as they are notorious in the neighborhood as the Double-Trouble Terror Duo™. With Stereo trespassing, shoplifting, vandalizing, and wreaking havoc, with Jukebox somehow wrapped up in it when all she wanted was for it to stop. Their hobbies include skateboarding, parkour, filming vines (rip), watching Stereo run from the police (more Jukebox’s preference), and any combination of those things. Stereo is the more reckless of the duo, and Jukebox is the slightly more reasonable one.

PERSONALITY— Ryuji can never stay on one personality. It is thought that he has borderline personality disorder, but he doesn't. Fortunately. He is known to be by himself, doing things people don't really do. He's not "normal". He has a collection of weapons that he holds near and dear to him, and he names some of his favorites. He can tell you all if not most of their names, and even their genders if you're that deep into it. He's a chatterbox when he thinks that you're enjoying what he's talking about, and he's a fast talker as well. He doesn't really like when people interrupt him though, and he'll give you this face that'll give you goosebumps. But his height isn't very imitating.

He claims that his favorite color is white because blood shows up nicely on it. At first, Ryuji is reserved and quiet. Some people think he's like that because he's planning your death sentence, which may or may not be true. He likes to look around and observe more than he likes to talk. Then, when you approach him, he still doesn't talk much. He'll say some things and then he'll turn around and leave before you can get the next sentence out of your mouth. He's known to be rude as well, and he cuts people off in the middle of their sentence to tell them he doesn't care, or he wasn't listening the whole time. Then, if you're lucky enough to even become Ryuji's friend, he treats you like your his everything. But that excludes hugs. He thinks hugs are disgusting. Even from family members. He'll talk to you a lot, even about things he knows you don't care about, probably just to get on your nerves, and he'll not only show his switchblades to you, but he'll show you his guns. Which are for special people only.

bio > naomi & lambert met in college as theatre students— as set designers rather than actors. they were both artsy & had radical ideas about life, which intruiged each other. the two hit it off & their relationship was like a 90s romcom movie, complete with a kissing scene in the rain. like a 90s romcom, naomi became pregnant which led to her finishing off her bachelors degree then becoming a mom. despite her movie-like & dream-esque life, naomi became a rather free-spirited & peculiar type of mom. similarly to naomi, lambert was a relaxed & "cool" dad who was a firefighter. unlike naomi however, he became more of the dad type, complete with a somewhat dry sense of humor & a welcoming aura that called you "champ". fast forward to the birth of tsukiko, where the couple's peculiar ways influenced their children.

Poppy is pretty quirky, if she does say so herself. Her interests often lie on completely opposite spectrums, but that is part of what she loves about them. Whether it's walking through a cemetery at night to see if she can find a ghost to shopping for a new pair of heeled boots, Poppy is always doing something completely random and unpredictable. Very rarely does she sit still or stay quiet--every part of her needs to move at all times.

Much like her hobbies, Poppy's topics of conversation go all over the place. She'll be ranting about politics one moment, and then she'll be cooing over kittens or unicorns. The Whitaker family pretends to be high society. Well, Gardenia Whitaker at least does. Although she married Dennis Whitaker, who came from money, she had never before understood the benefits to having money. She expected any children she had to be prim and proper as she was becoming, while Dennis ran a small business, due to his personal belief in not relying on his family's money. (How they ever got along was a mystery to all.)

When Poppy was born, Gardenia thought she would be raising a little princess, and while it seemed that way at first, it soon became clear that she was not the primadonna Gardenia was hoping for. Poppy was more like her father, with her incredibly free spirit and her refusal to rely on solely one thing like money to get her through life. She did absolutely everything a child could do, from playing with dolls to running in the mud, and her father loved it.

Her mother was disappointed that she could not raise her daughter the way she hoped, but when Poppy was five years old, she found she was pregnant again. This time, she had another daughter, who clung to her mother more than anyone else. Little Lilac was very fond of her mother, and she was exactly the princess Gardenia was looking for. Unfortunately for Poppy, this meant her mother completely gave up on her and basically pretended she didn't exist.

Poppy didn't really notice, as her father would often ask her what she was up to whenever he was home from working. Since he worked all the time, she found herself alone with her various hobbies, which was alright with her! More time for all her hobbies!

When she was about fifteen, her family suddenly moved, and Poppy found herself in the most boring town in the world. It looked like it was up to her to spice up Marville's life... Who cares if it's taken her more than two years to do so? She'll get it eventually! Right?

  Personality: There are two sides to Sean's personality, the one he shows everyone and wants everyone to see him as, and his true self.   Bio: Sean was born in a nearby town called Seaside, into a family that was fairly well off. They weren't rich, but they never wanted for anything. His mother was a publisher and his father a well respected carpenter. He lived in a cul-de-sac there where several other kids lived, allowing both his sister and himself to grow up with plenty of friends. He grew up learning to be a fun loving individual and found a love for the arts, especially music and drama. Sean even formed a band with some of the kids in the neighborhood. For the most part Sean's childhood was incredibly typical and boring.

  When Sean was in 7th grade his mother died. His parents never told either children, but the mother had suffered from serious depression. She had taken medication and everything had seemed fine. Everyone was happy. Then suddenly one day Sean's father Glenn found Eleanor had overdosed. This crushed the family. Glenn became a clearly broken man who hardly spoke. Sean's sister Tara resorted to working extra hard at everything she did, to the point of almost burning out to cope with her feelings. Sean unfortunately inherited the depression. He tried to talk to his father to maybe get help, but Glenn couldn't accept his wife's death and certainly not the possibility of losing someone else to mental illness, so he blocks out. Ignoring mental illness doesn't make it go away though, and Sean became bitter at his father. Deep down he still loves him, and worries about him, but he will no longer outwardly show it.
  
  After the incident Glenn took his children to Marville heights where he got a desk job he hates. Glenn has stopped doing everything but work, eat, sleep and drink. The small home they live in is in slight disrepair. Tara had to step up and do a lot of work around the house, along with looking after her brother, but she did have her own life and once she graduated she left for college. Tara leaving was the final nail in the coffin, so to speak, for Sean. He turned his sadness into anger and aggression and hides away his feelings from everyone. He lets no one past his walls; why bother when they'll either leave or disappoint you?
  
  The past few years Sean has been barely skating by. He does the bare minimum to get him to pass everything, but for the most part he's rarely in class, and frequently in detention. He's wandered just about every inch of the school. The only reason he joined the club is because it's being held in one of his favorite spots to ditch class

personality: In your typical stereotype friend group Atlas will probably be the more relaxed and calm one who practically gets along with everyone. He doesn't feel the need to be in the presence all the time, but doesn't fall too much into the background. He will choose his moments to shine because he's quite charismatic so conversations are no problem for him at all. Atlas has a comfortable vibe hanging around him which often suits his mood. Stress isn't a feeling he's familiar with and only kicks in rarely. That's probably one of the reasons why he often easily gets along with people, and people with him. Atlas has seen all types of people coming into the restaurant so doesn't care whether you have a different skin color, clothing style, interests or whatever. He's definitely not a person to judge quickly. But he can't deny that he never judges though, every human being does it without even realising it most of the time. The important thing is what you do with that thought afterwards.

But when Atlas' mood is down he can be either really quiet or extremely irritated. You can read the irritation of his complete posture and facial expression, his muscles are all tightened and his jaw will be clenched 24/7. Don't worry though, give him some space and after a day or so it will be all vanished away like it never happened. He'll have no problem with telling you what bothers him because he will simply say it as it is. So don't be surprised if he tells you that you're being an asshole, for instance, if you ask what's wrong. And last but not least Atlas is extremely stubborn. He will stand his ground in arguments because he's most of the time convinced that he's right and the other person is wrong. Sometimes it just has to go wrong for him to see that the other person had it at the right end.

PERSONALITY—

Bobbi is a quiet and gentle soul. He has never been into the party scene as he gets nervous when there are too many people in a room with him that he doesn't know. He is very much into reading a quiet book or just laying back and listening to Bon Iver and Damien Rice on his Iphone. He likes a small group of friends and he will honestly be happy to talk to anyone in any shape or form as long as they are respectful of his boundary's and nice enough too him. When he does get to talking about something he is interested in his eyes sort of light up and he can talk for ages, but he finds it hard to initiate a conversation like that with others. Being very obviously inverted, he typically spent most lunchtimes alone or with his only friend Chet.

Bobbi has always been kind of non-confrontational, and overly polite. He wont complain about something unless it is driving him crazy. And even then he probably wont make too much of a fuss. rarely is he heard or respected because he doesn't exactly carry himself with confidence. He is over 6' tall but he acts like the smallest guy in the room at all times. It isn't that Bobbi is boring, he loves to have a good time, to find new places to explore, to make people smile and make good memories, the only issue is he doesn't think anyone wants to get to know him. He doesn't make the first move to get to know someone. Any friend he has ever had has begun the friendship themselves. He doesn't like that about himself, so he wants to change it.

Bobbi is trying to crack out of his comfort zone and make some friends, maybe even a young lady (Or a young man) to take home to his family one day. He wants to start being more brave and this newfound courage is beginning to shine through.

BIO —

Bobbi's family was fairly normal really. His father was a British professor and his mother was a translator. They met when Bobbi's father was arranging an exchange program with a Chinese university and his mother was the translator at the event. They had a long and loving relationship and were blessed with a daughter. Both of them ended up moving overseas when his mother got a job in america. They settled and raised their kids fairly equally as both of them were quite invested in their respective careers. Unfortunately Li Ming, Bobbi's mother was out of the country a lot with her job so his father Charles was the primary parent, moving to work part time rather than full time so he could look after the house a bit more. He was a kind man, but he wasn't very good at expressing his emotions and Bobbi was an unusually sensitive kid, needing constant attention which his father just couldn't seem to give him. Bobbi learned to hold everything negative inside, and he repressed all of his emotions. He spent a lot of time in his room drawing. He absolutely LOVED art. His mother bought him and easel and a paintset when he was old enough to start middle school. His father thought he should go outside and play sports more like the other kids. Even his sister spent most of her time outside when she was a young girl.

The two of them did end up bonding when they went on a father son camping trip together up in the woods. Neither of them really knew what the hell they were doing but they set up a couple tents and some camp chairs anyway somewhere out in the countryside for a week. Every night was starry skies and campfires and singing cringey campfire songs to the out of tune twangs of his fathers old wooden guitar. Bobbi became a little tougher on that trip, trying a number of new things including archery and fishing, and his father let out a softer-side telling him storys about his father who was a horrid, angry, drunk man that Bobbi will never meet because he is currently in prison.

After that Bobbi felt a little less insecure about his hobbies and his lack of mathematical prowess despite the fact that the rest of his family was brilliantly intelligent and academic. School was still another battle though. his best friend was called Chet Greene. He was a real hilbilly type, and he always had a girl hanging off his arm, but he still made time for Bobbi and the two of them often went on roadtrips together. Because of Chet, he wasn't so lonely all the time so he grew complacent. He didn't try anthing new or join any clubs or try to make friends. Then Bobbi and his family moved away and he was all alone.

He realized the error of his ways, and that he should reach out to others more. After all, there were billions of people in this world all with different experiences, and he was missing out on talking to them. Now he is trying to crack out of his shell and get to know others. This club is the first step.
