Fandom (LoL AU) Basically What if The Institute of War was the WWE

Hi all! I finally got around to finishing(?) a League AU I've been working on for a few years and was hoping to find someone (or a group of people) to roleplay it with me <3

The original Institute of War was a much needed stop gap measure. After the first Rune War, an emergency all powerful paragon was created, comprised of the world’s most powerful tacticians, mages, and diplomats. Instead of waging war on each other, the nations participatiing would send five of their most skilled warriors each, hosting small scale battles with minimal impact on the planet and the creatures that inhabit it. That was nearly 500 years ago and much has changed since then. The Institute now is seen much more as an entertainment empire, and while important matters are still settled in the Summoners Rift, matches are seen as a sport just as any other, simply on a much larger scale than most.

Info !
Alright, if we’re going to think of the League and the surrounding city around it as a dart board, the bullseye is a park about a half mile in diameter, segmented into sections corresponding with the currently enrolled nations. The next two rings are sectioned dorms and the the actual institute respectively. The third ring is a thriving wilderness area where wild or Vastayan champions are encouraged to stay. Finally , surounding the Institute is a bustling city.

Filled to the brim with shops, hotels, and merchandise, League City, as it’s best known, is a strange middle ground between City-State and theme park. Yes there are people born and raised in the area having lived there generation by generation since the creation of the League, but it’s overwhelmingly seen as a place you visit on special occasions.

Just about every Champion officially recognized and employed by the Institute has their own franchise of some sort, say, “Grave’s Cigar Shop” and “Karma’s Cupboard” (a tea shop). The champion each shop is based off of gets a cut of the profits, but from there you can choose one of two things.
A: With the exception of scheduled matches you will be informed of and teleported to, you go about life as usual, getting a 60/40 cut in your favor every month.
Or
B: You get to live on Institute premises with free room and board, but only 40 of the money made using your likeness kicks back to you.

Kassadin, Malzahar, Kai’Sa, and rather surprisingly Cho’Gath all are willing to contain themselves. The institute is keeping an eye on them, while the rest of the Void creatures are kept either under very magical lock and key, or are summoned directly from the void, but it prefferes to let Kass and Kai'Sa deal with the entire operation, as the Institute doesn't quite know how to handle to Void.

Summoners are really just there to keep champions from being too powerful or too weak, as well as make sure champions respawn. It is suggested a champion and a summoner have a fairly positive relationship, as it makes the complex magics they use easier to handle.

You can choose a canon league character, create your own, or even play as a summoner! I'll work on a form to fill out, but until I get one up and decent, just the basic information + anything else you want to add is fine <3
