Hunter was currently sitting huddled up in his bedroom. His bedroom was extremely messy and was covered with dirty clothing, he was currently relaxing on his bed whilst his step mother, Julie began rushing around to tidy things up in his room, procrastinating since they were having a new member to their family. He was glad that she could leave his room once the doorbell went. He stood lurking by his bedroom door as he watched Julie beckon a young girl indoors, that was her. Thats was his new foster sister.

Tori;

When I first met Julie, the first thing that caught me off guard was her large smile and overenthusiastic personality. It scared me, but since she was taking care of me, I knew I shouldn't complain. It was better than being back on the streets.

"Tori, welcome!" She said, pulling me into a big hug, as my social worker watched awkwardly.

"Hi," I said, doing my best to make her feel...well, like I liked her. But so far, I really hadn't, and that made me feel a little terrible. Maybe I just needed to get used to this new life.

(I'm gonna change what person I write in, sorry)

Hunter;

I knew that my foster mother would force me to come all the way downstairs to converse with my new sister, but I didn't seem to be interested. She was just a girl, I had seen plenty of those in a lifetime. I shook my head and sigh to myself, what was I even doing, lurking around here as if something would happen? I should just stay up in my room from where it was safe from unenthusiastic people. I stayed playing video games for several minutes until I heard her calling my name.

"Fuck, I guess I'm not getting out of this one easily" I mumble to myself.

Tori;

"Hunter, this is Tori. Tori meet Hunter." Julie said, still smiling.

"Hi, Hunter." I said, shifting my weight. I didn't want to take up too much space, and I could see from his face he wasn't too pleased to see me, much less live with me.

"I can put my stuff away..." I suggested.

"Oh," Julie said. "Of course. Hunter, help Tori with her things and show her to her room!"

"I can just do it myself--" I started.

"Nonsense!" Julie replied.

Hunter;

I just rolled my eyes at Julie and gave her the do-I-have-to? Face as I slump my shoulder lightly and pull a face of disgust.

"Just do it, Hunter" I heard her say through gritted teeth, yet she was still smiling.

I sigh and then grab hold of the girls things and began to haul them upstairs. Her bedroom would be on the opposite side to mine. Once I got upstairs and the girl had finally managed to keep up with me I bring her things into the bedroom and place them inside.

Tori;

My room was pink and had pictures of flowers on the wall. My closet had already been filled with girly clothes, and to top it off, it smelled like bubble gum perfume in there. But I reminded myself to stay thankful. It was a room, after all.

I sat on the comfy pink bed they gave me and said, "It's nice. Thanks for helping out. I can take it from here."

Hunter;

I roll my eyes to myself and begin to walk to my own bedroom. Pink. If was the worst colour ever,may least in my opinion. I preferred dark colours like black. Anyhow, I say down on my bed and continued to play my video games, not see in to want to befriend my new sister.

Tori;

I put my clothes away, stored my books in the bookshelf, and made myself home. I felt a little lonely, a little like a bother. Maybe things would be different at dinner time.

Hunter;

I walk downstairs when it was time to eat and sat down, Julie had made an extra special effort whilst cooking oddly that day. She had even baked a cake dedicated to his new sister. Their father had joined them, he had been out shopping for us and had been out with some friends and doing various other things. His name was Sam.
