Men and women would mutter about strange things going on near and around the northern part of town, a chill could be felt by anyone who approached the town, a pulse of energy would emit from the area, though being cut off every other beat. Areas around the town would be growing darker and the life around it dying. Strange familiars would be seen lurking the street, though as you looked they would seem to smudge and vanish with a crackle.
