Liza Kreuzer - Character sheet:

  • What does it take to make the world a better place? Whomever you ask, you'll probably get a different response. Ask a juicer, and he'll name his favorite drug. Or ask one of the Glitter Boys, he'll probably just point at his armor. Some might even name the arcane forces, though only after carefully studying them for years. Certainly, noone would point at the average-looking, young woman in her worn-down, grey hoody, playing a flute in the midst of the camp as if these weren't dire times. A crucifix is still hanging on a cord around her neck, despite the status quo. Tinted motorcycle goggles complement her long, brown hair, and light armor can be seen underneath her clothing. A gas mask on her backpack shows that she's not entirely unworldly as well - but still, there's the wooden quarterstaff and her anient-looking revolver creating exactly that impression. She shows the calm confidence of someone who believes that things will change for the better eventually - in contrast to those in her far-away home country.

What would she answer if you'd ask her your question, you may ask? Certainly, she wouldn't point at the pair of modern weapons next to her, or at her ancient-looking equipment. Neither would she point at the Glitter Boy, Juicer, magician, or even at herself. No, she'd point right at you, her brows showing grim conviction in her beliefs, the lips indicating the mild smile of someone who'll never give up. "You don't need drugs, cybernetics, or luck to change things for the better", she'd say. Sometimes all you need is the conviction that everyone can make a difference. Every being, be it alien or human, can form a better future if it only believes in it. Too many have thought wise thoughts without changing anything. But now, it's the time to act. And when the mercs decamp, she'll be with them. Because other than those in her distant home country, these men here understand that a mind as hard as iron can change the world on its own. And Liza Kreuzer is more than happy to prove them right. Will you ask her your question? Maybe, maybe not, it does not really matter. In the end, she'll watch your back either way.
