Disclaimer: All of my knowledge of Star Trek pertains to the reboot movie, and whatever I can get my greedy little fangirl hands on in the internet.
On to the fun stuff!
Doubling: I enjoy doubling, because I enjoy male canon/female oc. For a vast majority of roleplayers I have encountered, those who want to partake in a canon/oc roleplay typically want to play the oc. If you are the exception, wonderful - please hit me up so I can offer you my first born child. If not, well, let's find a happy middle ground, ya?
Post Length: I'm happy with just a few paragraphs, but the more, the merrier. Sometimes I will drone on and on during my intro post, then jump down to like 300 words per post. One of the reasons I consider my RPs detailed is based on the quality of roleplay. Quantity isn't a huge concern for me.
Frequency: I'd like to have a new post to reply to once a day, maybe every other day. Keeping a faster pace helps me remain invested in the roleplay, because take too long and my mind will want to move on to other things. If I know you're unable to post due to real life or stress, I completely understand, but if this is a regular occurrence, we'll have to discuss this.
Contact: Please PM. Don't comment and ask me to PM you. I just joined. If you just joined, maybe we can start a thread and talk OOC through that before we hop to PM. And if you have it, I'm up for chatting through Skype.
Limits: Soft gore and violence isn't awful, but anything too hardcore is difficult for me to write. It's not that I can't handle it, but I don't feel like I would live up to your expectation if we made it really intense.
I will play just about anyone - Spock, Khan, Scotty, that cute little Russian kid whose name escapes me but I want to squeeze his cheeks, you name it.
