Bug Listing being buggy

NeoTheBaka

Precious Phanboy
I have been trying to edit a post for some time now with now luck. I have attempted restarting my iPad and trying other browsers (currently using safari, chrome, and firefox) (using the site itself, unable to get the app) and phone (android on the website I've again, model is an HTC) with no help.

Whenever I use the listing, it will not let me select enter and create a new row. It pops up for a second before disappearing. It does this on a new post and editing.

Are you using the RTE?

Rich Text Editor, basically, are you clicking for the list from the options atop the text area for a post?

If you hit 'enter' on a listed item, but do not type anything, the list assumes you don't want it and will vanish. Try doing the list, typing something, then hitting enter and a new bullet/listed item should pop under it.

Here is a gif example.

That's what I attempt to do, but upon hitting enter it only shows the number for a split second before seeming to disappear beforehand I can type anything for it. I will type for 1. And then press enter and then it begins to get buggy by not letting continue on at all as the 2. Then flashes for a second then it seems it hits a backspace every time I try.

Do you have any extensions installed?

There could be a variety of reasons why this issue only affects you, as you're the first to report it. It could be something as simple as a conflict with your autocorrect or as complex as an issue between the software version and what device you are using. If you really want to use lists, you can use the BBCode tag for it for now.
Code:
[list][*]item
[*]item
[/list]
  • item
  • item
Code:
[list=1][*]item
[*]item
[/list]
  1. item
  2. item

If you can provide a gif or video of what is happening as well as what devices and their software versions, or even reporting the thread you're having issues with to see if the staff can edit it and replicate the problem, it'll help us look more into the issue. However, at this time the only solution we can offer is to use the raw BBCode for creating the list.
