The year 2020. Over twenty years since Harry Potter saved the Wizarding world by defeating Lord Voldemort on Hogwarts grounds. The castle was rebuilt, bigger and better than ever, and like it always does, the Wizarding world moved on. Every year, new, bright-eyed witches and wizards from the UK and Ireland turned 11 years old, and each year, new students entered the halls of Hogwarts. Minerva McGonagall was a gem of a headmistress, loved by all who attended the school.

This year, rumors have been buzzing around the wizarding towns of Europe. There will be another Triwizard Tournament held at the school. However, this time, two students from each school would participate. Also, given the new guidelines, and stricter safety measures, the age limit was lowered to 15. Fifth through seventh years at Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang respectably would be able to participate if chosen. Those chosen from their schools would attend Hogwarts for the full year from the beginning of the year.

Given what happened at the last Triwizard Tournament, the world is apprehensive. Yes, the Dark Lord is gone. But would there be a new threat lurking? After all, dark magic doesn't just go away when a dark wizard is killed. It simply just moves on to the next.

You are either a Hogwarts student, a student from Beauxbatons, or from Durmstrang. Feel free to play a student who is younger and will not be directly participating in the Tournament.

At Hogwarts, there are four houses.
Gryffindor house, founded by Godric Gryffindor, represented by a lion, values bravery, courage, nerve, and chivalry (and perhaps a bit of mischief).
Slytherin house, founded by Salazar Slytherin, represented by a snake, values leadership, cunning, ambition, and resourcefulness.
Hufflepuff house, founded by Helga Hufflepuff, represented by a badger, values hardwork, patience, friendship, and loyalty.
Ravenclaw house, founded by Rowena Ravenclaw, represented by an eagle, values intelligence, creativity, learning, and wit.

Physical Description: Jasmine has bright natural copper hair that falls just below her shoulder blades on the rare occasion she doesn't have it in a messy bun. Her face and shoulders are covered in light freckling. Her eyes are dark blue and stand out against her pale, red windburnt face. She wears glasses on occasion. Her ears are double pierced, she wears ravens in her second hole to show pride in her house and black studs in the first hole. When she is not in a standard uniform she can be found wearing pastel-colored shirts and a pair of brown knee-high boots.
Personality: Jasmine loves being the brains of operations, she values her knowledge and studies above any family or friends. That being said she is quite awkward in large groups of people. If you share interests with jasmine you can guarantee she would love to have long in-depth conversations over the small chatter of a local coffee shop/bookstore. She feels as she is the leader of her small group of likeminded friends. Jasmine might come off as stuck up due to her feeling the need to not put other things before her coursework but she is quite laid back when you get to know her. She comes from a pureblood family and was sent to Hogwarts with high expectations from her parents, maybe too high she thinks at times which can cause her great anxiety. She is her own worse enemy when it comes to grades, she pushes herself and forgets what it is like to be a "normal" teenager at times.

Family/History: Jasmine was born in the small Scottish town of Troom to a very loving set of parents. Jasmine's parents only provided the best education money could provide, the best nannies and clothing. Her mother worked at a large corporation dedicated to the study of defending the nation's wizards against dark arts but Jasmine always describes it as an FBI or NSA agent for wizards. Her Father lives a more mundane life as a magical animal veterinarian who travels the UK and even assists other institutions with care and instruction. Her parents celebrated the day her acceptance letter was received and very shortly she packed her belongings and headed away. Knowing this day was coming she hadn't made many friendships nor did she have time to during her parent's rigorous coursework. She has a younger sister named Melody age 8 who will also be attending Hogwarts.
Jasmine hopes to continue her care of animals like her father and eventually take over her father's veterinary practice.

Physical Description:
Blythe has dark brown, curly hair that he lets grow rather long- enough to almost cover his eyes if not pulled back. He often wears a cap or beanie if he's not letting his curls run wild. He has light blue, kind eyes and often wears a smile upon his face. He knows he's handsome and uses it to his advantage.
Personality:
Blythe is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. He has a heart of gold, especially for anyone he considers a friend, and has been raised to treat everyone with value. He can be overprotective at times, and will always argue against a fight or conflict if it can be solved another way. He is aware of his good looks and often uses it to his advantage to charm teachers and others. He's not the best in school- he has a hard time focusing and this affects his grades. He often resorts to goofing off in class because he doesn't understand what to do but gets away with it because of his charm. If he was in a muggle school, he'd probably be diagnosed with a learning/processing disability.

History:
Blythe was born one of the oldest of three children. He has a twin brother, Sur, who was born a squib. Blythe is incredibly protective of Sur, and feels incredibly guilty that he gets to go to Hogwarts and his brother doesn't. He sends him things from Hogsmede all the time, and writes him every week. His little sister Rosie is 10, and due to attend Hogwarts the next year. His mother, Violet, worked for the Quibbler as a guest writer, and his father, Michael, worked for the ministry as an Auror. Over the summer of 2020, his father was killed in an accident at the Department of Mysteries. Blythe is still incredibly affected by this.

Charlotte is a petite girl, small in height and stature. She has short, blonde, almost white curls that reach to her chin. Her eyes are incredibly pale blue and do not fully focus or look anywhere in particular.

Personality:
Charlotte- or, Lotte to friends- is quiet. She is often in her own head, especially knowing she is going to Hogwarts, as she has trouble with the English language. She is shy and serious, only smiling when she finds someone trustworthy or truly funny. She has high ambitions for her future, and works incredibly hard in classes given her disadvantage. She is not someone to trust easily, and can often seem mean or snobbish to people who don't know her.

History:
Charlotte was born an only child to a pureblood, old French family. The Caron family supported both Grindelwald and Lord Voldemort respectably, though were not actively involved. Charlotte was born blind- her eyes didn't develop properly, and although the healers at St. Mungo's were able to restore her eyes to look normal, they never functioned. She was a highly active, intelligent child, always seeking more knowledge, impressing her father daily with her ability to control her innate magic at an early age. If she didn't get what she wanted, there would be fires and broken glasses at her will. When she began to attend Beauxbatons, she excelled in her classes, focusing and proving that she was one of the best in the school. This is why she was chosen to go to Hogwarts to represent Beauxbatons as a possible champion at such a young age. She excels in Transfiguration and charms.​

Gabriella is an average sized girl, standing about 5’1. Her hair is a fair color of blonde, going a bit passed her shoulders. Her eyes are warm brown, that always seem to be lively.
Personality:
Gabriella is a rather short tempered person. People tend to get on her nerves easily, which is when she snaps at them. She has a problem with always thinking she needs to win however, and easily gets upset when she doesn’t. She’s got nerve most of the time, normally sticking up for herself and not letting anyone get into her head. Gabby can sometimes be a sweet girl, when she’s not too busy focusing on winning or trying to outdo someone.

History:
Gabby was born with magic all around her. Both her parents were wizards, along with her two older brother, one which is out of Hogwarts the other on his last year. Grabby’s mother and father both worked at the Ministry. Gabriella’s parents were also both Hufflepuff’s, so it was a bit of a shock when Gabby became a Gryffindor. At school Gabby always tended to her herself into bad situations, which she could’ve easily handled herself. Her older brothers tended to be very protective of her. This year Gabby couldn’t wait to go back to school with the tournament. She might actually have a chance to be chosen, and she would do it all herself.​

History:

Adrik's mother died in childbirth, so he never knew her. His father is descended from a long line of famous, pure-blooded Serbian wizards whose fame and fortune had been squandered in various wars and skirmishes throughout the 20th century. Now, they live basically on the poverty line. Adrik's upbringing was rough- drunken beatings from his father being a weekly occurrence. He learned to look after himself, not give a damn about anyone else, and seize what he wanted when he could and at anyone else's expense.
When he was admitted to Durmstrang, he immediately began building a reputation for himself. His sheer power and skill, particularly at dueling and jinxing people, earned him praise from those who valued such traits and, when the Triwizard Tournament was reinstated, he was chosen as a candidate to represent the school and sent to Hogwarts.
