Welcome, to Lillium!
Lillium is a Virtual Reality MMORPG game designed by Doctor Erica Kiyoshi. Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, Miss Kiyoshi attended Tokyo University where she received her B.A., M.A., and PHD. in Video Game Development. She started her own company, called Kiyano Inc., when she was only 26 years old, and after two years of recruiting and government loans, the world of Lillium was born.
During its infant stages, it began as a regular MMORPG game on a console. However, it soon became clear to Miss Kiyoshi that something greater was needed if it was to break the mold of the MMORPG genre and bring the experience to new heights.
In 2013, she began researching Virtual Reality, and within the year she had designed her own system called Deep Dive. This system uses finely tuned brainwave interception and manipulation software and hardware to effectively digitize the brainwaves of the player, transforming it into computer code as long as they're wearing the Virtual Reality Headgear (VRH for short). With their minds digitized, the player can safely and effectively enter the system where they then craft their player avatar and enter the world of Lillium.
It took over eight months to perfect the system itself, let alone the game's environment, but it was accomplished as of early 2014. Come September, 2014, the official Closed Beta was released. Only 500 people were allowed to enter the experience, but all of them gave the experience a perfect review though there were a few minor things to attend to. Miss Kiyoshi took the comments of the Beta Testers to heart, and over the next several months worked tirelessly with her team to develop the necessary improvements, and thus we come to the world of Lillium today.
It is the ultimate breakthrough in virtual reality, blurring the line so finely that it is literally impossible to tell the difference between the real world and the world of Lillium. The only way you'd know Lillium was a game is the fact that you bought the game, downloaded the software to your computer, and logged on. Without that prior knowledge, it's so easy to forget you're in a game that it's actually frightening. Miss Kiyoshi came under heavy fire from skeptical and worried corporate rivals. Accusations of all kinds were thrown her way, but she stood firm and strong in support of her creation.
And so now we come to the day of the game's release, and the excitement of the world is running at an all time high.
