So Life Is Strange 2's first episode was officially released a few days ago, long enough for popular Let's Play channels to start pumping out gameplay videos and for early customers to have given their opinions on the game - which is now 'Overwhelmingly Positive' on Steam.

So I thought, as a follow up to my last thread, I'd create another for people who have played/watched the game. So, what'd ya think?

This game had a whole new design team and crew of voice actors, though I personally think they pulled it off pretty well.

I thought it was fantastic, especially since I was concerned they'd mess it up. The ending as well has a lot to be discussed and has gotten me extremely hyped up for episodes 2 and 3.

It's pretty decent but the conversations seem a bit cringy to me.

I think that's actually what the designers were going for, Chloe's desire to fit in as a rebel leads to some almost discomforting dialogue whenever she's involved.

Unless you're talking about the somewhat awkward animation at times or some of the voice line deliveries, which does make some parts unintentionally cringey.

That's what I meant. The animation is just weird and the delivery is... off-putting.

Its kept the overall vibe and tone of the first game which I've enjoyed, solid prequel so far. (I also have an rp starting up on it if anyone wants to be involved) episode lengths are solid if you explore, and I also very much like the backtalk mechanic.

Back talk is dope, but it's too easy imo, since there's almost always 2/3 options that pass and the 'wrong' one is pretty obvious most of the time.
