Hey I'm Madi, artsy/hipster nerd extraordinaire, I am 21 years old and currently reside in Chicago, Illinois for my college education at the Art Institute of Chicago. I am a photographer, a damn good one too, not that it's a huge money maker. My degree is mostly to give me something to do for now. I'm a realist, just because you've got a piece of paper with your name on it doesn't mean you'll sell any more photos than the next person, in the art world, education isn't anywhere near important as your raw talent. I'm working part time at an office here in Chicago to pay some bills here and there, mostly data entry stuff, but that isn't anywhere near the most important part of my story, so I better take it from the top.
I awoke with a shiver down my spine in Perdere Salvitorre's class. I had a flash of a huge thunderstorm hanging over the school, I woke up before I got any real detail to it, a flash of an ethereal dove at the fore front of my mind since I woke up. Perdere Salvitorre held her camera in front of me as I started to process the scene in front of me. She had been shaking a photo to help it develop before sliding it in front of me. "Perdere Wattson, you have such a gift, do not waste it snoozing the day away." Her voice heavily tinted with her Italian accent. I nodded, starting to fully wake up. "Si Perdere Salvitorre, le mie scuse." Lorelei made them speak Italian whenever they had made a behavioral misjudgment, such as sleeping in class. She nodded. "Very good Madison, your italian is coming along brilliantly, but the means through which I'm not sure I approve of, please do try to get a good night's rest before you come to my class."
