It was the day of the big party at the disco. She was at the DJ stand and everyone from her school was there. The music was really loud, and a lot of people were throwing their socks, clothes or underwear at her. She chuckled, and she started a new song, "I wanna see you dance for real now!" She yelled in the microphone, as the music began playing at high volume. She took off her headphones and looked at a guy besides her. The guy smiles and kisses her cheek before walking away. She jumped back and gasped, "Wha-..." But she didn't pay much attention to it, and put on her headphones again.

Izumi enjoys dancing to the music at the disco. He busts a few moves that everyone loves. When he was young, he won a talent show for breakdancing. He smiles as he dances because it brings back memories. Girls ask him to dance with them, but he kindly turns them down. He is worried that it would make others angry or jealous. After a little while, Izumi takes a seat and has a glass of water. This sure is fun! He lets out a large smile.

Danielle was having a good time and enjoying herself with her little group of friends that she had came with. The Dj was killing it with the music. She was watching the guy who was break dancing in the middle of the floor and claping her hands and jumping around having a good time. She pushes back her long golden blonde hard back into a high ponytail and her friend taps her on her shoulder and says to her "Dani let's get something to drink". She nodded and walked over to with her friends and once she got a drink she sat down and says "This is so much fun guys".
 
Izumi, after taking a break, decides to get some freah air. People asking, "Where are you going Izumi?" were simply replied to with a simple, "Outside." Girls continue to follow him to the door, where he waves them off. The bright sun is hard on Izumi's eyes as he opens the door. It's so hot in there. Izumi feels something vibrate in his pocket; it's his phone. He answers it to be greeted by a man with a deep, raspy voice. Izumi's smile fades and he throws his phone onto the ground, shattering it. Izumi takes a deep breath to recompose, and then heads back inside. A somewhat noticeably fake smile rests on his face. Under his breath he says "Jerk."
 
Yukino was sitting on a seat at the park, she was regretting the fact she didn't bring snacks with her and sighed, she kicked her legs about feeling hungry and bored.


Yuriko walks to Izumi, taking a seat next to him and looking at the floor she coldy greets him "Hello" there wasn't a smile on her face to exactly comfort him either.
 
Izumi puts on a fake smile. "Hey there, uhh..." He doesn't know the girl's name. He takes a look at the girl while she looks down. He lets out a sigh, then drops the fake smile. "You don't look very happy either..." Izumi doesn't know how to go about talking to her. She seems like she has something on her mind. It's best not to ask. "What's up?"

Yuriko smiles slightly "I'm fine, it's just I don't usually smile, but you seem to have something on your mind, I can almost sense it" she was glad that this was the first to not tell her to go hell or something so the least she could do was smile a bit.

Shiori Smith


Shiori really liked to dance however not when she was there all by herself. So what she did was to just get a drink at the bar, sitting down on one of the chairs next to it. Talking to the bartender instead as she did not feel like conversing with somebody else. Well, those who only talked to her because of her looks that is. Her hair had extensions in them which made them seem longer, but this was only occasional as it asked for a lot of work that she did not always want to do. Plus short hair was pretty too. The fact that her hair was pink though made it even better in her opinion. Who did not love that colour, it was cute and she liked it. Even though she was more of a tomboy style person, she did like girly stuff too. She was not a man after all. Once the bartender gave her the drink, she smiled cheerfully and had to end the conversation for now since he had his job to do. It was a lot busier than she thought it would have been as well. Making her wonder why so many people came even though it was the big party that everybody was talking about. Most of them were just talk and no action. So it was surprising to actually see them coming to a place like this.


 
Izumi smiles, for real this time. "Yeah, a lot's been going on lately. But it's no big deal." Izumi lied. "By the way, what's your name?" He takes a drink of water. It's still very hot and humid in the disco. Girls around him frown as they see him sitting by the girl. He flashes a smile at them.

Yuriko could see scornful glares directed at her, she took no notice of them as she eventually looked at him "Yuriko Yagami" she then takes out a small bag filled with cookies "What's your name?" Yuriko then starts munching on a cookie

"My name is Izumi Kawahara. Nice to meet you, Yuri. Do you want me to buy you a drink or anything?" Izumi starts feeling better, and forgets about the phone call. He crosses his legs and leans back, feeling much more relaxed than moments before. He fixes his hair a bit. His smile shines brightly.
 
Yuriko thought for a moment "Are you sure? If you are then yes" she munched on another few cookies, finding it hard to just ignore the stares she sighed and turned her full attention to Izumi.

"Of course I'm sure. I'll be right back." Izumi stands up from his table and walks over to the bartender. After ordering two drinks, he notices Shiori sitting. "Oh! Hey, Shiori! How's it been?" The bartender hands Izumi the drinks and then goes on to help the next person. "This party's wild, isn't it?" He's having a blast meeting new and old friends here. He hasn't gotten to see many of them because of his harsh swim practices every day. It fills him with happy ness to see them for the first time in a while.

Yuriko looked at the door, she wanted to leave the disco and she couldn't bear the looks she was getting, she didn't want to seem rude but she didn't want to do something reckless either so she made a run for the exit before walking in the direction to the park to meet Yukino.
 
Kanade was at the school's party, sitting by herself among a large crowd. There was an unusually loud crowd of girls who were screaming someone's name. Izumi. That was it, that was what they were saying. Was someone famous in there? Oh, wait a second. It was probably just that popular guy at school - Izumi. Practically everyone knew him, including Kanade. Looking around for the guy, she saw him sitting next to a girl who was currently walking out on him. She laughed sharply and shot a look in Izumi's direction.

Vanessa slowed down the music at the point of stopping it. She lowered the volume and put on slow and soft lights. "And now, time for a slow dance." She murmured with a soft tone, playing a more soft tune. Listening to it brought back to Vanessa's mind bad memories. Why did she choose it? She teared up, but she simply put on her hoodie and leaned back against the wall, turning off the microphone and crying alone in the high stand of the DJ. Though, she wouldn't mind someone comforting her.

Yuriko felt guilty and it didn't help that someone had laughed at her, but she deserved it she looked at the floor as she walked away, any trace of a smile gone, it was like a gloomy cloud was cast upon her, she walked across the road, not paying attention to any of the horns or the driver shouting 'Oi, look at the road will you, you're gonna get run over' right now, she couldn't care less, she kicked a rock on the road with spite.

She seems busy right now. I'll talk to her later. Izumi walks back to the table where Yuriko is sitting. Or at least, where she was sitting. "What the-" He lets out a short sigh. Even though someone just ditched him, he couldn't help but chuckle slightly. "What an odd girl," Izumi says under his breath. He sets down the drinks and sits down. Afterward, he takes a sip from his own drink. I wonder where she ran off to. Izumi smiles widely. "Whatever," he says out loud.
 
Yuriko finally looked up to not see a park but a building, at closer inspection it was the Yamaki Cafe she was about to turn away before she thought about all the treats it could offer, she reluctantly took a step inside the cafe and picked a seat close to the window to gaze out of and waited to be served feeling at ease.
 
Izumi notices that the music has taken a quick change of pace. The slow dance music is playing and for Izumi, that's bad. Oh, crap... Izumi quickly stands up to hide, but it's already too late. Girls swarm Izumi, asking to dance with him. Keeping a worried smile, he declines and comes up with a clever lie. "So sorry, but I'm afraid I've already chosen to dance with someone else. Frowns fill the girls' faces as he walks away. He notices Kanade laughing at him and he gives an embarrassed laugh before walking over to her. "Hey, Kanade. Can you do me a quick favor?"

Kanade stares at Izumi blankly. "What do YOU want?" she asks, quite rudely. She recognized him from somewhere, but... where? Izumi, Izumi... she remembered him. Maybe he was a customer from the cafe? Maybe... NO. All of a sudden, she realized that he, in fact, worked at the cafe. Oh my God, he'd most likely seen her in uniform. "Okay, okay. I'll do it. What do you want me to do?" Her tone had changed.

"Perfect!" All of a sudden, Izumi takes ahold of Kanade and begins to slow dance to the music. "I'm really sorry for this. I'll explain later." The music told Izumi exactly what to do. His steps moved slowly with the rhythm of the song. The girls from before frowned at the two as they danced. Kanade must think I'm crazy. He laughs at the thought.
