Libertine Thread...roleplay...whatever xD

OK so this is like a question and a suggestion also!


So I know there are a lot of adults and teens on this site and there are different kinds of roleplays you can join, but...why not add a libertine roleplay section?


And has anyone ever brought up this topic before?


Only people 18+ can join. The way you can make sure no teen under 18 can join is by making sure the year is correct to their age. I would suggest they input their birthday but some people lie about their age. Maybe there can be just onexones in there since group ones might make this site too weird and I don't think we want that xD . And if a person above the age of 18 doesn't feel comfy doing stuff like that then they don't have to even go near the thread.


I can kinda tell that there are some people on here who enjoy rping sexual actions so why not give me that chance since they aren't allowed to do it on here


Also you can add some rules in it to make sure nothing triggers a person or make them uncomfortable to be around that person.


This is just a stupid suggestion I came up with so its fine if it gets set on fire and sent to hell xD

This has been suggested lots of times, and even though I know you don't intend any harm in suggesting it the answer has always been and probably always will be a firm "no."


The main reason for the rules we have in place now are so that the website complies with COPPA, as the servers are based in the US. While we could require users to be 18+ to access the content, as you've already stated people can easily lie about their age. It takes just one person to ruin it for everyone, especially with the possibility of angry parents or legality issues. Requiring to see ID or something would be ridiculous and impractical... So, no libertine sections.


Edit: This is all off the top of my head, so I might be wrong on some of the specifics and I'd be happy if another staff confirmed or corrected me, but the end answer is still the same- there won't be a section.

Ditto what Ghost said. Having an 18+ only section of the site is not going to happen, especially as it is possible for someone to lie about their age.
