So I am fairly new to the site and am looking for anyone interesting in writing with me. I am (was) an avid tabletop player so I tend to gravitate to existing settings and stories that take place in those worlds. I prefer long, detail rich posts, that help bring alive the world around the characters. I primarily only prefer to play original characters, and while I dont mind having established canon characters doing cameos, I prefer to keep those to a minimum. I am not into anime, while I respect the art form, I am mostly clueless in it so cannot write in it. My writing style is gritty and I love to convey the emotions and the thought processes of the character in writing. I enjoy dark and mature themes, the more psychological the better. I also enjoy moral and ethical dilemmas, actions with consequences, and am not afraid to let the story go where it needs to go.

Dystopian:
Shadowrun - will always be my preferred cyberpunk/dystopian genre setting. Tech, magic, guns, and dragons. I love it, and will play ANYTHING in this genre.
Cyberpunk2020/2077 - One of the originals. I enjoy it, and would like to write in it.
Other setting influences - Think of any of the Cyberpunk flavors of books, settings, or even your own personal creation, or something we come up with together, just let me know in advance so I can do some proper research if its something I am not familiar with.
Apocalyptic:
Zombies, bio hazardous threat, WW3, some form of ELE, you name it I am game.
Other setting influences: Walking Dead, Tom Clancy's The Division, Book of Eli, Mad Max, etc.
Fantasy:
Low Magic: I enjoy gritty, realistic low magic fantasy. Think Joe Abercrombie series (First Law Trilogy, Best Served Cold, The Heroes), where magic is an underlying current but very rarely, if ever used. Any setting similiar to this I am game.
High Magic: My favorite setting would be Forgotten Realms. Any edition or timeline and I am game for a good FR story.
Other setting influences: Grey Hawk, Conan, Dragonlance
Sci Fi:
Star Wars: Any timeline, any era, any story. I just love Star Wars. I prefer the original EU, but am willing to branch out into the newer timelines.
Other setting influences: Aliens, Star Ship Troopers, Kim Stanley Robinson books, Neal Stephenson, The Expanse, any of the myriad of other sci fi settings. The harder the Sci fi the more I enjoy it.
White Wolf:
Vampire the Masquerade, Werewolf, Hunter: The Reckoning, ect. The whole universe is great and love to get back into doing something in it.
Historical Time Periods:
I love history and would be willing to write in any of the historical settings. Realistic or with a twist, just let me know. Colonial, pre-historical, The further back the better.
Homebrew/Original Settings:
I am willing to be a character in your own setting just let me know.
