Like everyone else here, I’m craving some really good stories.
Words that leap from the page and leave me needing and wanting so much more. I’ve been lucky, extremely yet my messages are dry so here I am!! ?
The deal; I give you a back story, and even oc’s. (No guess work.) Easy enough right? Pick one, you like out of the five and jump right into his/her story.
Intro:
Clarksville is a farming town nestled in upstate New York. The town is small, consisting of mainly the elderly and people just wanting to start their families. The families that have been in the town for years, work elsewhere, and have children who are dying to leave. (Who wouldn’t right?)
The family: The Mathews. (Basic name I know, feel like changing it? Go for it, dude.)
The Mathews have lived in town since, they very first people founded it. Starting out on ugly plot of land, they’ve turned the ugly plot of land into a prosperous Dairy Farm. The family has lived in the same farm house, for almost ten generations. Each one, just adding a new addition to the house. Saying they’re all close is an understatement.
Our stories cirlcle around the lives of five children.
Jackson.-The Hero.
Mia-The lesbian.
Hank-The Drop out.
LeeannMarie- The Sinner.
And finally, Leo-The Saint.
After the death of the children’s mother, life has gone definitely in an ugly direction. Come find out with me.?
Jackson Mathews, is the oldest of the five Mathew children. He’s never been very good at Dairy farming, with his grandfathers approval he joined the military. Leaving his then high school girlfriend at the time, pregnant. Could you imagine, coming home after finding out your mother is dead to find out you fathered a child whose now five years old. Yeah, no me neither! Let’s dive in and figure it out together!! ?
Being the second oldest, is hard enough. Falling behind in big brothers footsteps, is even harder. Before her mother had died she watched her oldest daughter move to the city to start a life far away from the harsh realities of the small town. Being in the city, let Mia embrace who she had wanted to be all along; herself. Coming home, to a very narrow minded town and trying to impress her only living parent is definitely going to be a challenge. Let’s do it. ?
Being the middle child, Hank hasn’t done much. He didn’t even graduate from high school. Wedged between a sister who felt like she had to prove something and following a brother who wanted to be better than their own father. Hank at 11 years old began to learn his way around the farm. And he’s stayed there ever since, of course he has dreams and goals they just might be smaller than his siblings. Can we find a way for his siblings to notice he’s actually a force to be reckoned with??
To be fair, LeeannMarie has been seen as the apple of her father’s eye since before she was born. Being the last daughter and the only one who seemed to actually enjoy being around both of her parents, she takes her mother’s death the hardest. Dealing with past traumas she’s done her best to forget, mixing her dragons with alcohol, it is the beer she tastes or the salt of her own tears??
Leo Mathews is the love child between Mrs. Mathews and a close family friend. His siblings reminding him often that he wasn’t actually supposed to even be around, yet Mr. Mathews forgave his wife and let the child into their lives, and home. Leo is a banker, dealing with money trying mainly to keep the dairy farm alive and running. Can he save the land? Plus find out who his real father is??
