I have a few ideas on some plots I would like to try, PM me if you are interested. The genders and ages of all the charters can be swapped, as needed.
The Thief and the Lady--Victorian
A young woman is thrown out of her home by her father because he suspects her of having an affair with a stable boy, which she did not. A thief finds her working long hours as an assistant to a seamstress, and recruits her to work as his accomplice. She is used to mixing with high society and he find this useful to distract his targets, and she is tired of poverty and hunger. The genders can definitely be swapped as needed.
The Scholar and the Adventurer--Fantasy
A scholar inherits a great sum of money and uses the funds to hire an adventurer to travel with them to explore an ancient and lost civilization. There, they find a magical amulet that grants the wearer great power, but at a terrible cost.
Three Wishes -- Urban Fantasy
Someone finds a genie's bottle at a modern antique store and makes three wishes.
The Young Ruler and the Mage-- Fantasy
A young person ascends the throne to their kingdom after their father dies of a horrible illness. Suspicious of the circumstances of their father's death, the young person searches the land for an adviser they can trust to help them rule the land. A wandering mage decides to take up residence in the court, when the young ruler decides on them as the perfect candidate for the job and together they root out untrustworthy members of court and put the kingdom to rights.
Teachers of Spells and Alchemy-- Fantasy
The new teacher of spells at a school for magically gifted students forms a friendship with one of the more tenured teachers, and they begin to form a friendship, until the new teacher finds that there is a dark side to the other teacher, and some of their projects are actually very dangerous and illegal magic of destruction and manipulation.
