FAQ's


Question: What generation are we in?


Answer: Kanto Region. Some of you may know it as the RBY(Red Blue Yellow) games. Or where Ash started out in the series.


Question: How old are our characters?


Answer: About the time they would be considered old enough to go out on their own as a pokemon trainer. The age range normally would be 10-13. But some may get a later start.


Question: What pokemon can we choose from?


Answer: Be reasonable. Out of the first 150 pokemon. Babies/First Evolution pokemon.


Question: How does the Battle system work?


Answer: Pretty basic, use logic in the battle, think of the type advantage, type differences, attack stats, defense stats, etc. Like theres no way a level 5 caterpie would beat a level 6 growlithe. Fire beats grass. And so forth

Oh and I just added this in <,< So I'm sure you missed it. Currently it's generation 1. Gen 1 pokemon only as of right now
 
Can we only choose from the starter Pokemon of Gen 1? Or can we choose other Gen 1 Pokemonzzz? 
Oh, and what's the average age going to be in this roleplay?
 
Gen 1. Baby pokemon. Not anything like charizard or something. But really a pokemon you'd reasonably have. 
Pokemon adventure is just beginning. As it would be in the manga/game/show. 10-13 age range is when they get their first pokedex to go onto an adventure.

Many of the 1st Generation Pokemon have pre-evolutions introduced in the next generations (such as Munchlax).
 
Well they don't know of those yet o-o so rather then picking a pichu, you'd be stuck with pikachu. Snorlax doesn't count as a baby pokemon either << It'd be rather hard to train a snorlax at the level of 1-5. 
I believe he doesn't come in til gen 3 << So no munching until then.

Nope O.o I don't put gender ratios into rps I make << To much trouble and aggrivation. And I won't rp a female so why should I force someone else to do something like that
 
Are you sure. . . ? Nah, let's go with a boy, I'll probably bring in his matching girl character later in the story. I'm allowed to do that, right?
