Name: Aedan the Blessed

Alias: God of the Battlefield, Killer of Legends, World's Strongest Man, the Pinnacle, Strongest Hero, Ender of Stories

Gender: Male

Age: 32

History: Aedan was born to a small family in the Irish section of the world. He had no great love for his family, and they had no great love for him. From a young age, he was always the biggest and strongest. He killed a bear by breaking it's neck when he was 15. Soon after this event, a war broke out in his home country between two powerful clans. He then did as many young boys do, and went to war. What divided him from many other young boys was his overwhelming power. Blades broke across his skin, he tore chain mail with his bare hands, he killed men wearing helmets with a single punch to the head. His side won overwhelmingly, the fear and terror of his strength doing more damage than he ever could. All of this was when he was only 15. Aedan discovered his true joy during this war: being a champion. He loves the adoration of the men, the terror he inspires, the legend he creates. If a death were glorious enough, he would even be willing to die in order to cement his legend. Secondary to this is his love for a good fight, and his search to find new opponents. Both of these factors led to him travelling the known world, fighting in wars, killing fodder and legends alike. He is one of the most famous heroes in the world as a result of this journey. He does possess morals, however. He refuses to fight for an unjust cause for the sake of cementing his legend, however, as he thinks it would tarnish his image as a hero. and is not as egotistical as many believe. He thinks that, rather than it being the duty of the common people to idolise him, it is instead his duty to earn their adoration. He took the final step into legend when he performed his greatest and most famous feat: killing a dragon singlehandedly. They fought for days, the the point where even he was exhausted beyond compare. The final blow was dealt when he severed its spinal cord with his axe. He bathed in its blood, further enhancing his body and, unbeknownst to him, his axe gained the "dragonslayer" attribute.

Abilities:
Iron Body: His skin is comparable to plate armour, and very difficult to break. His body increases in strength as you go inward: his flesh is stronger than his skin, his muscles are stronger than his flesh, and his bones are stronger still. An attack from any non-superhuman combatant is unlikely to harm him. Honestly, only enchanted weapons are capable of severely injuring him.
Superhuman Strength: This is quite self-explanatory. His strength is like a force of nature. He can uproot ancient trees with his bare hands. He can shatter boulders with ease. He can break a man's neck with a light squeeze. His speed is incredible as well, being able to run 100m in under 5 seconds.
Beast's Agility: His agility and reaction speed belies his size. This normally startles his opponent, seing such a behemoth move like an acrobat.
Limitless Endurance: Of course, his endurance is not actually limitless, but it is far beyond the realms of humans. He can fight for a full day and only be a little short of breath.
Fast healing: This is not so much a healing factor as an advanced rate of healing. It will not make a big difference in battle, but he can recover from minor wounds within a few hours, major ones in a few days.

Equipment: Battle-Axe: An incredibly heavy axe that can crack plate like crab shell. It is enchanted for durability to stay intact under the force of his blows.
Runic Belt: Aedan acquired this powerful relic after toppling a powerful clan and finding it on their champion's corpse. It is a one-use item that allows the user to call a powerful thunderstorm under the owner's control to their location. After this use it will be nothing but an ordinary belt.

Weaknesses:
Overconfidence. He has never encountered a physical equal. All of his worthy opponents reached his level through skill, not natural ability. This has resulted in him having average fighting skills, made lethal by his incredible power.
Magic: The universe is fair: a strength will be balanced by a weakness. Aedan is abnormally weak to magic. A simple fireball will burn him severely. He was nearly killed by a Druid when he was 17, and has been wary of magic-users ever since.

Other: His prized possession is his horse. A colossal beast of a thing, incredibly muscular. It is the only beast that can sit his weight.
He is likely one of the most famous heroes on this rp. He will be known in many places due to his travels.
He is feared by heroes and champions because he has killed so many. He does not indiscriminately kill legends, but in battle he targets the other sides heroes in order to show them that their faith is misplaced.

Name: Drake Highwind

Alias: King of Dragonar, King of Dragons, The Dragon Slayer Dragon, and countless other names/titles such as King of Dragons, Dragon Riders, Slayer of Evil Dragons, etc.

Gender: Male

Age: 25

Race: Human - Dragon Hybrid

Personality: Drake takes much pride in his kingdom and various titles, in fact his pride is his most dragon like trait. He embraces his dragon lineage and loves just about everything dragon especially the fact he is part dragon. He has the very heart and soul of dragon, when his pride or something he cares about deeply is trampled on his very nature compels him to unleash his wrath. In battle fights in a state of tranquil fury unbridled emotion but channeled and focused emotion.

As King of Dragonar he'll do anything to protect his subject humans, dragons, and everything in between. He maintains good relationships with the various High Dragons of the lands but treats the High Dragon of Dragonar as family. He strides to honor his legacy as those who descend from the Welsh Dragon also known as the Red Dragon Y Ddraig Goch, even if that means helping their relatives the Pendragons who also descend from the Welsh Dragon.

History: Drake was born as the First Prince of Dragonar, a kingdom that controls what would be Wales. The Highwinds descend directly from the Welsh Dragon as does the Pendragons. While much of the world fails to understand Dragons and often persecutes them. The people of Dragonar thanks to their ruling family the Highwinds have a great relationship with dragons, many from Dragonar are hybrids of humans and dragons because of this. Dragonar is renowned for having everything related to dragons. There are various vocations that originated in Dragonar such as the Dragon Knights, Drakengard, Wyvern Riders, Dragon Riders, Dragoons, Dragon Mages, Draconologists, and more.

Drake is more dragon than human as his father took a dragon(in human form) as his queen which is not uncommon in the history of the Highwinds. From a young age he was trained physically, mentally, and spiritually to be a warrior, King, and dragon. By the time he was a teenager he was already on the battlefield and slaying evil dragons, by the time he was grown man a Field Marshall in the Royal Dragonar Forces. Now the King of Dragonar he has built a reputation that proceeds himself long enough for people to even make of stories of him being a large dragon that can raze a Kingdom overnight.

Abilities:
http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Dragonman_Physiology
http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Western_Dragon_Physiology

Equipment: Drake uses a spear forged from the bones of a High Dragon, imbued with the dragon slayer attribute that's only limited by the amount of power behind it. He can wield it as long as he doesn't wound himself with it. His armor and shield are forged from broken off pieces of his manifested Dragon armor/scales.

Weaknesses: He is vulnerable to anything that contains the dragon slayer attribute including his own spear. He can also be influenced if he's not careful by High Dragons, Dragon King's, Dragon God's, and the like.

Other: Open to other characters from Dragonar including other royal children or a dragon partner of his.

Name: Ruarc ( ROO ark) O'Sullivan

Alias: The Green man, Iron Druid, The Morrigan's Executioner

Gender: Male

Age: 800

History: Born towards the end of the Iron Age (Roughly 900 AD), Ruarc was trained in the ancient art of the druid. For two decades he learned, trained, and soon was bound to the earth, like his arch druid, and others before him. The binding took a total of three months, as he was tattooed with a live thorn bush from the bottom of his left foot, to the top of his left hand, in an intricate pattern of Celtic knot made up of vegetable dyes and malichite. To say the least, it hurt like hell. When he did finally get bound, he was taken to Tír na nÓg, the realm of the Tuatha Dé Danann, where he was greeted and congratulated by the gods and fey. It was there, he pledged his loyalty to the chooser of the slain, scorning Bríg the first among the fey, like his arch druid had before. To say the least, the Morrigan was pleased. So pleased, in fact she blessed young Ruarc with her protection, an amulte made of cold iron, and bound it to his aura so no one can divine his location, and his touch is deadly to fey, and gifted him the mighty blade Fragarach
For the next eight centuries, Ruarc has faithfully served his goddess and Gaia, until being ordered to aide the other great warriors of the distant lands.
Abilities:
⦁ earth magic
⦁ herb lore of Airmid (Grants him immortality through the brewing of a tea and several bindings.)
⦁ Undetectable (Cannot be found via magical means)
⦁ Immunity to most magic (Due to his iron amulet being bound to his aura, he is able to attune it to different forms of magic to grant him immunity, although he must encounter it first)
⦁ Expert swordsman
⦁ Can call upon elementals for aide

Equipment:
⦁ Cold Iron Amulet (Bound to his aura)
Fragarach
⦁ Scabbard
⦁ Armour crafted and enchanted by Goibniu.

Weaknesses:
⦁ Must be touching earth to cast
⦁ weaker druidic casting (His Cold Iron amulet makes it harder for him to cast)

Other: Most Vikings and Druids know not to fuck with Ruarc since he has a death god in his corner. will charge into battle naked when fighting other druids.

A sword that can kill anything with one cut is a no go but everything else is fine

Some amount of limitation must be placed on these things in order for this RP to be level. If all weapons had their 100% mythological powers in this Roleplay it would get very dull and very boring real fast because everything would get one shotted.
so remove the AP ability and it's pretty balanced. I can call the winds and force others to tell the truth/immobilize them

Name: Luixa of the Mountains

Alias: The Shepherdess, The Fierce One

Gender: Female

Race: Jentil (Giant)

Age: 200 years old (20 in giant years)

Appearance: 11’6” feet tall, and weighs a little over 450 lbs. without armor. Traditional tattoos decorate her arms and back.

History: Born among the mountains with the other Jentil, Luixa grew strong, hidden by the storms created by Mari and her spouse, Sugaar the Great Serpent. She was one of the few giants spared when the Great Star of Christ shone out, blinding her brethren. In panic, they threw themselves into the ocean to escape, only to drown. Now, Luixa acts as a Protector of the mountains and valleys they cradle, wielding her spear in the name of Mari’s storms.

Abilities:

  • Giant’s Strength: Luixa has the strength to move massive boulders and other large objects easily. Any attack she deals would be extremely damaging.
  • Mountain Dweller: Being used to the steep slopes of her mountain home makes Luixa adept at climbing seemingly vertical surfaces. This training also gives her very good balancing skills.
  • Shepherd and Farmer: A few lifetimes worth of animal husbandry has taught Luixa the secrets of animals behaviors. She can calm and interact with most animals easily.

Equipment:

Ostots, The Spear of Thunder - A magical spear smithed by the storms that batter the mountain. It is imbued with the Lightning and Thunder of its creator.

Mountain Shield: A sturdy shield made with thick slabs of mountain pine and held together with iron. It is large and can deflect many blows inflicted by man-made weapons.

Weaknesses:
  • Loner - Being alone without other giants has caused her to rarely interact with others. She often helps humans but is more interested protecting them from invaders and beasts than actually making allies.
  • Pride of Home - Luixa will do anything to protect her native lands, and they are her first priority, even over her own well-being.
  • Soft-Hearted - She is very fond of humans, their culture, and especially children. She cannot deny carrying hordes of village children like an elephant or trying (and failing) at making flower crowns.

Other:
She is one of the last giants, the only other one known to humans being Olentzero, who shares her affinity to humans and kindness towards children.

Name: Jean-Paul Blanchett

Alias: John the Norman, The Living Saint of the Pyrenees, The Godsblade

Gender: Male

Age: 25

History: Born the 7th son of a minor noble in British Normandy, Jean-Paul never had much in the way of titles coming to him. On his best days he was mostly ignored, seen as little more that a potential replacement for if his older brothers proved particularly unlucky and on his worst he was berated as another worthless mouth to feed. This continued until one night when Jean-Paul was 15, he dreamt and angel appeared before him and told him that God desired great things of him. It told him of a sword buried deep in a crevice in Spain. He was to go and claim it, and with it he was to ride north and lay low a great pagan army that was to rise in the north.

Not one to question the will of God, and looking for a purpose so he was, Jean-Paul stole a horse from his father's stable that very night and made for Spain. It took him the better part of a decade to find the sword, but he didn't spend that time idly. He fought under the banners of many mercenary bands and christian lords, making a name for himself as both a legendary swordsman and fanatical enemy to the Moors and Basques who he clashed with near constantly until finally, during the heat of a battle against an army of basque rebels deep in the Pyrenees mountains, he felt the ground give way beneath him. He fell for some time and killed every other man who had fallen with him, but as he looked up, gasping for air and feeling as though every bone in his body had shattered, he saw a faint glimmer of light among the rocks of the cavern. The Sword of Roland, Charlemagne, and if the stories were true, of the Legendary Hector of Troy. Durandal.

Through sheer force of will and guided by the divine sword, Jean-Paul pulled his shattered body from the rubble and grasped the blade with both hands. Acting only by the will of the sword he moved to the edge of the Cavern, where he could still hear the battle cries of the Basques above. Placing the blade against the cavern wall, he ran the sword against it in a single righteous motion. The French forces had at first thought it was an earthquake that had dropped a mountain from the Pyrenees, but when Jean-Paul returned alone, gleaming sword in hand, many of them dropped to their knees, some cried, most simply stood in stunned silence, but they all understood what had happened. Heaven had chosen a champion, and the world quaked before him.

Abilities:
  • Living Saint: Either through divine favor or sheer fanaticism Jean-Paul is sturdier than most men. While he still feels pain as normal and a spear through the stomach will kill him just the same as anyone else, anything less than that appears to not so much as inconvenience him as broken bones, illness, or fire seem to have no immediate effect. What's more is that he seems to heal remarkably fast, meaning that even lasting injuries don't hold him back for more than a few days.
  • Divine Presence: Heaven is with Jean-Paul wherever he goes, and this is only more apparent in the midst of battle. Jean-Paul's appearance awes and terrifies lesser men and compels them to either follow or flee whenever they see him charge. Only those who can count themselves as heroes or whose zeal matches his own can resist this.

Equipment:
  • The Sword, Durandal: The sword of many heroes, Durandal is one of the most terrifying blades ever forged. While Jean-Paul has never quite been able to replicate his miracle at the Pyrenees, the sword is still more than capable of cleaving through virtually any non-magical or magically reinforced surface with remarkable ease, splitting steel and stone as easy as water.
  • Family Shield: A shield bearing the crest of the Blanchetts, it isn't particularly special but it holds a sentimental value none the less.
Weaknesses:
  • Just a man: Despite his zeal and the terror he evokes, Jean-Paul's greatest weakness his the one that should be the most obvious, without Durandal he's powerless. Furthermore, having relied on Durandal's power for so long he isn't used to fighting in normal circumstances and is more or less unprepared to fight enemies on equal footing.
  • Durandal's Curse: Whether he know's it or not, the truth is that durandal's great power comes at a price. Everyone who has wielded the blade for any extended period of time has invariably met with a sudden and grisly end. At the moment, there is no indication that Jean-Paul is any different.

He is likely one of the most famous heroes on this rp. He will be known in many places due to his travels.
He is feared by heroes and champions because he makes a point of killing them to show that his legend is greater
He has to lose the anti magic belt, I see what you're going for but he definitely has to lose the belt in order for him to have the rest of this. Also it is contradictory that he supposedly only fights for just causes yet kills legends for the sake improving his own.

Ok, belt is gone. I replaced it with a one-use magical artefact. I didn't clarify this properly, he kills legends for the sake of his own, but he won't fight alongside evil people to do it, like slavers or something

Here's how he sounds. Meets Legend randomly, kills Legend to prove himself better. In other words he sounds like he indiscriminately butcher's heroes for no reason.

Ok I do need to correct my wording then. I want it to be like this: he loves being a champion and a hero, and in battle, he makes a point to kill the other side's champion to demoralise them. If he met a famous hero he probably would ask to fight but he wouldn't go so far as to kill them. Because he's killed so many champions he's become famous for it, and so other heroes fear him
