Hi guys! Hope you liked the scene change, I hope I didn't push the story too far, give me your honest opinions so I can know what to change for next time.

Anywho, for this scene, I'd like everyone to write small little tidbits our characters have learned and felt for one another on the five-day time skip. In addition, the enchanted item doesn't have to be a weapon, it can be jewelry or armor. After that, I'd appreciate it if you wrote a small piece in the POV of your patron deity as to what they'll eventually enchant the item with.



It can be the ability to do whatever your heart and brain can think of. Just stay within the realm of your diety's abilities. That can be interpreted in the way of your choosing.

I.E - Can the Goddess of the Sky enchant Azyra's item with the ability to call down Myera's wraith in the form of a smite? Or can the God of Karma bring about mind-shattering trauma with a tap of Osran's daggers? Can the Goddess of Health give Nina's double-bladed staff the ability to bring about a plague with one side, and AOE healing with the other? Will Noah grant Posiedon-level abilities? Apocalyptic, overpowered enchantments are allowed because SPOILER our group will be fighting Dragons, chimeras, and entire armies in the future. We'll need big boy powers for later.

Also, your OCs can feel some mystical kind of way at the moment. Especially Rowan, Nina and Azyra. Interpret what I wrote how you like. OH AND our OCs wont know what the true enchantment is until its needed as a plot point. Until then, cool but simple enchantments can be discovered. Like,


"Cool, now my Great Sword imposes a sense of weakness onto my enemies, giving them an illusion that I'm larger than life."
or
"My arrows never miss if they're shot from this bow, and they're all blessed with a critical hit."

. . . . you get the picture.

Notice, that the items will simply float once they've been washed with the fires of the forge. The Gods are being cautious as to what they'll enchant the items with. Don't be afraid to talk here about random scenes that went down during the five-day skip !!!

I'm so excited to see what kind of enchantment you come up with for Azyra.

Random tidbit, Trinity isnt evil shes just a bit indifferent to good and bad. She helps whoever she sees fit indescrimeantly. I imagine Trinity as a Goddess of Time who enjoys seeing the future shift based off of what various mortals do.

I think Kito's enchantment generically will be,

The aura of Barren. Kito's blade will emit the overbearing and intimidating energy of Barren to any hostiles in a mile radius. Kito will appear unbeatable and monstrous, invoking fear and a sense of dread. Hesitation guaranteed.

Her true enchantment will be, as long as she possesses her great sword, Kito is unbeatable 1v1. It'll lie dormant until another scene. :]

UM wow Heavenchi , i finally got a second to sit down and read through the post and it's so good omg. this is putting osran in the most uncomfortable position, making him ask for his patron's help when he refuses to acknowledge his existence?? you feed me so well omg, my muse is flowing.

also, this literally gives me the most perfect opportunity to possibly call back to that lovely ring i mentioned back in the beginning of the quest hehe. i've got a couple op-esque ideas in mind, since you said that was all fair game should we determine just what the true enchantment of the item is in our posts? should we also list out the smaller ones as well, or is that something will be discovered as we continue on?

Loved the scene change! It was great! My mind is racing for power ideas. Or what I’d Even choose to enchant for her. I’m gonna have a blast narrowing down the options.

I feel like Kito wouldve been relatively open with Rowan specifically because of his charisma.

I imagine a scene where Rowan heads down to the bar and Kito tosses him her Barren Guild sigil. Telling him to eat and drink to his heart's content.

I could totally see Kito's love language being gift giving throughout the entire trip for everybody.

Pick some things Rowan learned about Kito, and vise versa. I'm open to anything

The item ability actually ties in perfectly with a future plan I had but wasn't sure how to execute the ability. I even have some art I found for it that gave me the idea. Rowan will become a God for about 5 minutes and then something drastic happens. I was going to run this idea by you much later on, but now it's pretty much green light that it won't be too OP. I just gotta catch up on the RP and start fleshing out a post, super stoked!

Time skip was lovely!! You gave it a very ominous "big things to come" feeling and I love it. I can't wait to see everyone's enchantments, what items they pick for it as well.

BASED OFF OF HIS PERSONALITY ALONE; AND HOW SOME OF THE OTHER CHARACTERS MAY REACT TO HIM.
I am 100% open to none of this happening, it being tweaked however, added onto, these are just some ideas.

I feel like about 5 days with Rowan, especially in a room, he would be poking at Osran the whole time, trying to force his friendship with an unwilling party. So, lots of talking, probably being ignored or even hit/small scuffle in the room a couple of times because he's being a total Loudfish and can't take no for an answer. Then one or both show up/offer/run into another at the bar, end up contest drinking and bond over... I dunno, puppies or they accidently overshared something tragic that happened to them. EXAMPLE: The girls might hear quiet sobbing of two men coming from one of the other rooms

Rowan will probably keep calling her "Boss" a lot, especially if asked to do anything. "You got it, Boss." Will be a phrase that will need to be whacked out of him if undesired. I can see Rowan being able to hold mild and serious conversations with Kito. Like he can put on his professional face with her, but not really anyone else in the crew. If anyone can calm his sporadic energy, it will end up being Kito. If she calls, no matter who he is around or what he is doing, he will be there in a second. This behavior is basically instantaneous since she is the leader after all, but also because he holds a different respect for her then anyone else.

Also question, are we having our Patron say what our enchantment is, so we all know (except our ocs of course)? Or is this a secret hint thing? Super curious to see what happens with Kito's blade!

There will be a night early where he might get a little too drunk and be super flirty with Azyra. He could call her a nickname (little pea or something I dunno) that she hates or triggers her to put him in place with violence. Nearly give him a concussion and he will do/get whatever she wants with a "yes ma'am" in fear of another whacking. Azyra gains: new found respect from Rowan, never gets a flirty comment again, and basically free room service where ever and nearly whenever, for herself and the other ladies if 'requested'. Rowan gains: Respectful fear, the only obedience outside of Kito's orders.

I see him forming a very fatherly like attachment to her. Despite 10 years separating the two, he can be caught looking at Nina in an almost familiar and distant pain way, like as he learns her character, she reminds him of *SOMEONE* (cue in backstory RP for the future!) He will become very gentle with her, never uses an angry or stern voice towards her. If she were to ask for some coin, he would give her his last drinking coin without a thought. He would rather her have a sweet treat or something nice and gamble his way through a pub for drink then say no.

Summary ​

So over all, do not be afraid to through in that you had to smack/punch the living Gods back into his soul or wrestle drunken him into a submission. He is stubborn and blindsides many social boundaries. Tough love goes a long way and results in "you were right" statements. Think of Rowan like a dog that does whatever it wants, and usually that's fine. Sometimes he gets wild and you gotta pull out the stern "I'm going to hit you" voice and that person gains full control of the situation.

As connected as I made him seem to the others, emotional distance is still abstained minus some drunk interactions with Osran maybe. Yet he would still lay his life down for the team. It's very apparent his old guild manners and habits shine through when he is surrounded by the others.

When the items float back to their respective owners, it'll just be an internal sense of knowing. (For the basic enchantments) The OP ability will be hidden though
The Patrons/Gods will just say the OP ability whatever you write in the God world. Our OC's wont hear it, just the other Gods.

I love that interaction, I think Kito will be indifferent to the title. I could see Kito confiding in him in terms of supply rationing, where to next? etc.
Perhaps even asking how the others are doing, disliking having to ask directly. Secretly giving morale maintenance to him in a sense?
