Graceful, strong-willed, beautiful, and powerful. These four descriptors sum up the woman that Kito is quite nicely. Kito's blunt nature and aloof tendencies make her a hard read. Despite that, her intimidating aura leaves little room to question her power. Due to the fact that she's a high noble, Kito is well versed in social etiquette. However, its by no means her strong suit. As a result, in any social interaction, she's usually short and somewhat uncomfortable. In all, Kito is a quiet, protective, strong-willed warrior who's best in battle, not a ballroom.

Biography

Kito is the daughter of Burma and Vector Burgundy, heads of the Burgundy House, owners of the Barren Guild. This noble family is infamous for the beserker mercenaries and slayers they provide. So it was no surprise that at the age of four, Barren came down and kissed Kito on the forehead, bestowing her with ferocious abilities. After that, at the age of thirteen Kito went to the Crumbling Mountain and killed her first monster. This was just one of her feats, time and time again she proved herself a prodigy. Unfortunately, Kito was not the oldest, but in fact had an older brother. This meant, the title of "Master" of the Barren Guild would go to him along with Head of the Burgundy House. Wanting to find her purpose, Kito left home and joined the Zorro army, quickly becoming a captain and renowned in the kingdom. Unfortunately during what was suppose to be a simple scouting trip, her and her crew got bombarded by a horde of monsters. Kito was the only one to survive. Dismayed and broken, Kito denounced her knightly title and became a full-time monster slayer, driven by revenge and pure hatred. After this ordeal, a now nineteen-year-old Kito returned to the Barren Guild and became a slayer for her family - one of the best. Here she is now, twenty-eight and on a mission to clear a section of the Engulfing Forest.

black hair, ruly and unkempt. small beads and ornaments lay tangled within the strands. upon a glance, it's probably been this way for years. it falls over the left side of his face as if to hide it from the world. his hazel eyes reveal a tortured and broken soul; that is, if he can look you in the eyes. in the sun, they transform into a honey yellow, not unlike a cat's. his skin is tanned and worn from many days in the sun. his hands are as rough and coarse as sand; hours upon hours of training. long scars trail down his left arm, from his shoulder to his wrist. he's attractive, bare-faced and elven. strong eyebrows, strong cheekbones, thin nose, and thin lips.

as he isn't a fighter of the front lines, osran lacks the physique of a warrior. he's tall, standing at around six-foot-four with boots and six-foot-two without. his form seems thin and lanky, but don't mistake his figure as weak. osran's stronger than he looks. much stronger than he looks.

heโ€™s also missing his left eye. itโ€™s a gnarly scar, reaching from his forehead to the middle of his left cheek, slashing the eye socket. the wound has healed, as osran received it in a battle nearly five years prior. itโ€™s a bitโ€ฆ disturbing to those who see it for the first time. osran keeps it wrapped up in bandages.

weapon(s): osran is a duel-wielding bladesman. his blades used to be twins, but since losing his eye, he's had to redesign his fighting style. his right-hand blade remains his original weapon of choice, a heavy, thick side sword. however, given his unbalance, he uses a lighter, thin spadroon for his left hand. most days, however, it remains on his back while his right-hand commands the fighting. he also frequently employs the use of daggers.

armor: given that osran's position is either that of stealth or the rear, he does not rely on much armor. leathers and hides are to the extent; metal makes music to the enemy's ears, after all.
however, steel plating covers the extent of his left arm, hiding most of the jagged, painful scars from sight. it's entirely uncharacteristic, yet unfortunately incredibly necessary. his left arm wouldn't react properly without it.

gear: osran's been wearing white for years, even though he has dropped the act of the zealot. a hanafuda earring dangles from his right ear, while his left remains bare. his scabbards hang from his back, while thigh and waist belts are employed on his person to house daggers of many shapes and sizes.

osran was born in pyten, the ten island kingdom. his family emigrated to zorro when he was only six or seven, so many of his memories from his homeland are fuzzy or forgotten. the sound of the lapping of ocean waves against the shores remains stagnant in his dreams.

osran was the eldest of five children, the only son of azram and sariah, and the older brother of mara, luisa, alana, and everlyn. azram was a merchant, but he was neither a powerful man nor a rich one in pyten. a purveyor of fine wines and antiques, there was never a large market for such luxuries in the ten island kingdom. however, moving his family across the oceans to settle down in the melting pot and joining a prestigious merchant guild allowed for him and his to live comfortably for many years. when osran was ten, they moved to a small villa on a large amount of land, adjacent to a vineyard. his childhood was idyllic and his memories of those years are very fond indeed.

when osran was awakened by imani, it came as a whisper across his ear. he was fifteen. there was no awe inspiring moment; nothing external that could clue anyone around him in to the moment. for osran, however, it was such a feeling ofโ€ฆ peace. of recognition. of comfort. there was a single word spoken, a word he could barely make out against the rustling of the grape leaves in the wind.

in the days after, imaniโ€™s influence greatly affected the boy. as a child, osran was wild and rambunctious. he had such a fierceness to him that was untamable in his young age. he had always been restless, craving a purpose. he used to drive his mother insane; she and his father struggled to understand the boyโ€™s needs. he was so unlike their other children.

however, he calmed almost immediately upon first conversing with his patron. for him, imani became a mentor.

for years, osran had struggled to find his purpose in life. he had no passion for merchantry, no matter how hard his father tried to push it on him. he enjoyed his time at the vine he felt a calling, a tug on his conscience. the purpose he had always been searching for was beckoning him. he knew it was imaniโ€™s will.

osran and his oldest sister, mara, decided to leave their home to travel to alto, the home of the monster slayers. to say their father was disappointed was an understatement.

after becoming a fully-fledged slayer, he was initiated into a slayer party. it was not an official guild, but consisted of many of the slayers who studied alongside osran and mara. they had learned to fight well beside each other and decided to remain as one to hunt down monsters. there were seven of them, including osran and his younger sister.

he was not a popular slayer, by any means, but he was well-known during his time in alto. the priestling, a stealth slayer dressed all in white.

they didn't call him 'the righteous' for nothing. a man, committed to doing to others as he wanted done to him; putting aside his own comfort to help those in need; realizing that every action had a consequence.

he never preached his way of life, but it was obvious to those around him that he considered himself to

he was twenty-five, mara was twenty-two. the pack was traveling towards gento in order to take part in a organized hunt. the shackerly estate was on the way. he and his sister had run ahead to catch up with the family and ask if they and their friends could send the night.

however,

his eye gone. his arm torn up. his spirit broken. he could nothing but watch as his life crumpled before his eyes. his mother. his sisters. he could hear their screams echoing in his throbbing ears. he couldn't move. he couldn't scream. his vision failed him. nothingness.

the pack managed to slay the beast within in the hour, but not before the villa and the vineyard were aflame. sariah and the three younger girls had perished in the fire, along with a number of farmhands. azram was away on business.



osran was gone and his amulet of imani was cast aside on the side dresser.

he hasnโ€™t been back to alto since. he hasnโ€™t been in contact with the pack, or mara.

tl;dr: born in pyten, moved to zorro when he was six or seven. eldest child and only son of a merchant, brother to four sisters. blessed by imani at fifteen, who becomes his mentor. a call to join the slayers fulfills his purpose in life. travels to alto with his sister, mara. joins a slayer party, comprised of himself, his sister, and their fellow graduated slayers, calling themselves the pack. travels for a few years, disappointing his father, who wanted him to take over the business. five years ago, when travelling to gento, he and mara return home to find a pack of c-class wild dogs attacking their home. loses an eye and almost all the mobility in his left arm before passing out; the pack slays the remaining monsters. his mother and three sisters are lost. loses all faith in imani, in karma, and in consequences. once healed, flees alto, leaving behind his amulet of imani. he has not spoken to the pack, his sister, or his father since. has been taking jobs along the outer borders of zorro, but the coin isnโ€™t as much as it used to be.

well, for the last five years, osran has refused to acknowledge his patron deity. one might say that osran has lost his faith. he no longer believes in the concept of karma, and has little consideration for the idea of consequence. at least, consequence to his own person.

osran was once very favored by imani, a champion of consequence. so favored that osran did not need to speak with the god to know his intention. whispered thoughts in his head was the largest extent of their speaking relationship. a mutual understanding was apparent.

however, since osran has begun to ignore the god, imani has taken moreโ€ฆ physical measures. the god will take control over a slight portion of osranโ€™s body from time to time to get him to listen. fingers strumming a familiar rhythm when he had no thought of it. a pen writing words that he had no intention of writing. his eye, tossed in a direction he was not looking. little things to an observer, but itโ€™s entirely obvious to osran. he hates it.

itโ€™s odd to see a grown man soโ€ฆ unsure of his own movement.

Generally found in light weight browned leathers that allow easy movement, especially for his arms and torso. Occasionally he will sport a black cloak with a red embroidered hawk surrounded by the outline of a golden sun.
A leather quiver lined with decorative steel plating along the lip and and arrows slung across his back, a wooden re-curve bow with a matching steel decoration to accompany the quiver.
On his each hip he has an archers axe, in case things get too close for comfort.

Rowan was an only child, his mother passing during his birth, taking his twin sister along with her. The people of Ravendale often spoke of times when his father was happy and prosperous, however Rowan only knew the angry drunk that seemingly blamed his son for his wife's death. Once he was old enough to walk around and steal biscuits off the table, his father ceased care-taking. The child ran wild and did as he pleased, his father negligent and uncaring.

One woman, Myra O'Daly was persistent to help the child silently screaming for help. She remained adamant about making sure he was fed decently and had clothes on his back that weren't falling apart. He fought against her for years, rejecting her kindness by tossing the food to the dirt or refusing the clothes. He could do it himself! This did not stop her in anyway from trying, her patience was endless, treating the child as if he were his own despite his nasty attitude. The boy slowly stopped terrorizing Ravendale, finding peace with his adoptive mother, Myra. They found fulfillment with another, both satisfying their personal desires, one with the need of a caring parent and the other who had a need to mother. Rowan never missed a meal again or went without a tight hug and kiss on the forehead as he raced off to the creek to fish with his packed lunch. He called her mom, as she called him son. The bond the two had formed couldn't be broken.

The life of peace and happiness was cut short, as Myra had fallen ill one exceptionally wet winter. Her state of well being quickly deteriorated, leaving behind a panicked and grief-stricken child. Rowan ran away, taking himself as far as his little legs could. He had collapsed down into a gully with exhaustion, laying in the mud as rain trickled endlessly from the sky. When he woke, it was to the sound of water roaring around the bend, the aggressive wave of water destroying all it touched. His scream was cut short as the wave hit him without mercy.

Everything went dark. Air was inaccessible, and his body tumbled around like a lone sock in the wash. His body instinctually gasped for air, only to allow water into his lungs. His tumbling seemed to go from a turbo-like speed to something more of molasses. The world around him was nothing but water, the floor of the gully having disappeared. No walls, ceiling or floor existed in this space. Only the cool water occupied the area. Rowan looked around, bubbles emerging from his nostrils and floating up into an endless void. A light source seemed to exist within the water itself, allowing the child to see that he was surrounded by a whole lot of nothing.

A dim spot of light in the distance drifted toward him. He immediately locked his eyes on the phenomenon. As it drew closer, tranquility slowed his racing heart and quieted his crowed thoughts. Warmth spread across his body and he closed his eyes. An inhuman voice broke the silence of this space.
"You bear so much pain, human..."
"So young..."
"How unfortunate..."

Through closed eyelids, Rowan could see a flash of bright light.
"Let it be, God's Will."

When Rowan finally came too, he was laying on the side of a river, in an area he had never seen before. The water behind him raged along its eroded route, oblivious to the child it had swallowed. His right leg screamed in pain. He found a town near-by, and went under an apprenticeship at the local blacksmith, given the easy task of stringing bows and other lightweight things a child could do with a broken leg until it healed. After some years of strictly grunt work, he began using his free time to practice shooting makeshift targets with a tiny bow he had made himself. However when his teacher found he had used the shops materials without permission or pay, Rowan was no longer welcome back.

He spent his teen years bouncing from town to town, working odd jobs little bit of money. Rowan became proficient in the use of a bow and began taking low tier monster hunting jobs. He saved the coin he made and invested it into a small house stuffed away in the city. He seemed to have grabbed a couple of the local Guild's attention with his solo hunting abilities, but Rowan showed little interest to their "tight knit family" groups. He rejected the offers that seemed to make their way to his doorstep every morning by tossing the letters into the fire.

Several more years past, his house was upgraded to something a little nicer and spacious. His weapons were top shelf quality, and his leather armors always fitted. He was a man of basic needs and wants. He had found himself a guild to join through a friendly brawl at the bar, their leader having taken Rowan down in an unbeatable headlock. Rowan became close to the group of five, excluding himself. Each adorned a similar black cloak with detailed embroidery. He saw them as family, and never doubted their love back. Five years he stayed with them. His time with the Soaring Hawk ended when the five other members perished during a raid, a tier S monster having appeared in the area. Rowan was the only one to escape.

After that, Rowan sold his house and set to traveling again. Before long he found himself in Zorro, his pockets emptied to the taverns and hired company. Broke with nowhere to go, no one to go home to, and little left to give, he began working as a full time Slayer. Rowan buried himself in work and liquor, trying to drown out his past from memory.

- Alto's Keeper, This is the title she earned for herself in Alto after protecting the city from a relatively large horde of B and C ranked monster, primarily on her own. She earned her place as a protecter of the city then. When addressing her with this title most just shorten it to Keeper.
- Blood priestess, Alto's Champion, Mountain Warden, Crimson Healer are so other titles that are mostly alternatives to the first two.
- The Ashen, an offensive name for a Fae who's blood was sold. Don't call her that, it'll hurt her feelings.

Nina tries to wear lighter armor, she wouldn't want to hinder her speed with heavy armor. So she wears the armor depicted in the photo. Without the heels. You must be crazy if you think she's gonna jump around and fight in those, she barely likes shoes to begin with.

Her weapon is a double bladed staff, as shown in the photo. She's well verse in the use of a staff and even uses it to aid her in different situations. Like when she's too short to reach things. She specializes in using it defensively, not letting an enemy close enough to cut her. She prefers to keep them at a mid range. She may revert to hand to hand combat if they get too close.

Abilities||
Healing Blood - Nina's blood has potent healing abilities, She can heal minor injuries or illnesses with a small amount of blood to completion. It's the major injuries that are tricky. Organs are harder to heal than bones, bones are harder to heal than muscle, etc. She hasn't figured out all of the details yet. She can't bring you back from the dead, but if you're dying she can probably buy you a few more minutes before a trained healer can actually heal you.

Enhanced Reflexes - Nina has a very quick reaction time. Sure- that might mean she could accidentally punch you if you sneak up on her, but that's a you problem.

Natures Favor - When it comes to nature (especially plants.) Nina seems to be particularly lucky. She can almost hear whispers coming from different plants. Telling her which berries are poisonous, the places dangerous monsters may be lurking, where the best hunting game was a heading. The plants and trees see all, they will share so long as she listens.

Nina is a deeply flawed individual. And sheโ€™s much more flawed than she lets on. Nina tries her best to play the part of a sweet, kind girl. Sheโ€™s doting, sweet, and empathetic. She is endlessly giving and dangerously charming. Nina comes off very Saint-like, and people find themselves drawn to her. Make no mistake, those doe eyes of hers are a weapon. One she uses with great skill to do what she believes needs to be done. This was her way of protecting herself. She fears vulnerability above all else and believes that she is far too broken to be cherishedโ€“ or even tolerated. She has been convinced by her own insecurity that her existence is meaningless, so she has opted to pretend to be someone else. She holds herself to an unreasonable standard and doesnโ€™t allow herself to trust other people. She tries to be someone that people would look at. She wants people to appreciate the fact that she exists, even if itโ€™s a fake version of herself.
Nina constantly lies to the people closest to her constantly, convincing herself that she is sparing them from having to know the true her. Sheโ€™s quite relentless in her hatred of herself, justifying her self sabotage as some kind of martyrdom. Yes, Nina frequently stews in her suffering, finding her own misery to be more comforting than that of happiness. Her pain is familiar to her, it is deserved. And by not fighting it, Nina can convince herself that the terrible things that happened to her were in her control because she chose misery for herself. That she was atoning for existing in some way.
Deep down she is stubborn and a little manipulative, willing to ignore the thought of others if sheโ€™s sure what sheโ€™s doing will help, but she is a genuinely kind person (despite convincing herself otherwise). She puts up her facade the way she does so others feel comfortable around her. She wants people to be happy. She tries to manipulate situations so everyone involved can reach the best outcome. Sheโ€™s selfless in a twisted way, and sheโ€™s very thoughtful and considerate to those she holds dear. Though this often means she will get herself hurt if it benefits people she cares about. Nina cannot understand how this may affect the people who love her. She doesnโ€™t understand concern for her well-being. No one cares about her in her mind, no one would be hurt if she died. So it doesnโ€™t matter if she gets hurt trying to help someone else. Sheโ€™s willing to do a lot to ensure the safety and happiness of the people she loves. Sheโ€™s willing to do the things that most people canโ€™t, however morally corrupt they may be. Because Nina doesnโ€™t care about people as a whole. She doesnโ€™t like them nearly as much as she pretends to. She just hates them less than herself, that makes them automatically better than herself. So if you manage to become someone Nina actually likes, she's willing to do a lot to ensure your happiness. Even if it meant compromising her own. Perhaps thatโ€™s where Ninaโ€™s ambitious nature truly shows itself. Ninaโ€™s dedication and loyalty also feed into her workaholic tendencies, as Nina tends to throw herself into productivity as much as she possibly can. She uses academics as an excuse to ignore her problems and keep her mind as occupied as she can with little care for her physical or mental state. Nina gets antsy when sheโ€™s not doing anything.
If you canโ€™t tell by now, Nina is an insecure person. But sheโ€™s also quite envious of others. She gets jealous of other peopleโ€™s happiness, then immediately hates herself for feeling that way. Despite not trusting people in general and believing she isnโ€™t worthy of anything good; Nina still seeks the approval and praise of other people. She bases her entire self-worth on how helpful she is to the people around her. Sheโ€™s given up on being happy with herself. So, she decided to dedicate her entire being to making other people happier, hoping to find her own contentment in the joy of others. She wants to be trusted, but refuses to trust others. She thinks sheโ€™s undeserving of love, yet seeks peopleโ€™s praise. In Ninaโ€™s head, she thinks this makes her selfish. But it just makes her a hypocrite.

Biography
Nina was born to Renรจ and Donovan Reaverwood. The middle child in the family, Nina was the firstborn in a pair of twins. She also has an older sister, Natasha.

Throughout their childhood, Nina was always overshadowed in favor of her twin brother, Markus Lee. Their father was never home much. And when he was, Nina was basically invisible. But her mother hated Nina. Renรจ was a bitter woman who projected her own self hatred onto her daughter who resembled her the most. Countless times Renรจ would tell the little girl that she was nothing.

Her brother seemed to be the only person to care for her. But he was also rarely home, their father often took him to work with him. To teach him. And Ninaโ€™s older sister, Natasha was avoidant of their mother. She didnโ€™t hate Nina, but they were basically strangers to eachother. It hurt Nina at first, and she used to try her best to catch up to Markus. To earn her parent's love, something she should have been given at birth. But it never worked and they only thing she would earn was hurtful words, reminding her that she would never be anything. Nina accepted this truth and gave up.

She found consolement in nature. She would wander the woods at a dangerously young age and somehow always make it out unscathed. She was curious and respectful to nature. And one day, when she wandered within the woods she was met by the goddess Ada, and Nina found herself wrapped in a motherly embrace. Foreign to her, but comforting enough to bring her to tears. The encounter was mostly silent as Ada held her hand and led Nina to safety. Ada left Nina with a kiss upon her forehead.

Nina was too young to realize that she had been blessed by Ada and her attempts to tell her parents what happened were brushed off. No one knew until one day her brother fell deathly ill. Nina felt a compulsion telling her that she could save him. So she followed her intuition. With a cut of her fingertip and a drop of blood, he was healed. Her parents witnessed what happened and were overjoyed with Nina. They told her how proud they were of her and how much they loved her. She wanted so desperately to be loved.

It took mere weeks for Nina's blood to be sold in a dark market by her own parents. She would be visited by people who heard of her healing and ask for her blood. Nina liked the feeling of being useful, she liked her parents' praise and the pleading and grateful eyes of the people she healed. Even though it hurt, she was helping people. Then the pain became too much and she became sickly and lightheaded. She would beg her parents not to take anymore blood, to let her rest, and it never stopped. Theyโ€™d go back to the way they used to be and they cursed her for being so selfish. How dare she complain now when there are people suffering infinitely more than her and she had the ability to help them? After a while Nina had grown too tired to decline anymore. At her worst, years later, Nina could not even lift her head.

It was only then Ada interfered, against her peers wishes, She struck Nina's parents with a terrible illness and forbade the young girl from healing them, rendering her healing powers useless for those two. Nina watched her parents die slow deaths.

Nina was free. She had absolutely no idea what to do with said freedom. Her brother knew that sheโ€™d return to giving away her blood again if he didnโ€™t do something. And he couldnโ€™t blame her, this life was the only thing she knew. So he took her away from their old house, and they began traveling together. Nina felt another compulsion during these travels. Nina followed her instinct and it led her and her brother to Ada's Domain. Alto, the city below the mountain.

Nina decided that Ada had brought them there for a reason, to become slayers(the goddess merely led them there so Nina may rest with those similar to her. But Nina loves to put herself in danger on the behalf of others). So, the siblings began training there. Nina excelled in her training, she was immediately recognized as a fae extremely favored by her deity. She was offered many apprenticeships and trained many years to become a very strong slayer. Easily recognized by many for her gentle personality and fierce skill. She overshadowed her brother for once, and he didn't really seem to mind. He was just happy to see his sister succeeding. That's how she became a well-renowed slayer, and how she found herself in the tavern with a mission to help clear out the engulfing forest.

Patron: Ada, Nina and Ada are very close. Contrary to what most would do in Nina's situation. Nina has never resented Ada for what her parents did to her. Nina could feel the remorse and guilt Ada felt as she suffered. Ada is the only source of Motherly love Nina had. Nina is devoted and eternally grateful to her patron. Their strong bond is communicated mostly through unspoken, shared emotion. Nina is acutely aware that Ada is almost disturbed by her extreme devotion towards her, Ada fears for Ninaโ€™s life and despises how willingly she is to throw it away. She tries her best to shower Nina in favoritism, trying to help Nina find some sense of worth in herself. But it doesnโ€™t seem to be working.

Nina is a sweetheart. At a first meeting she can be kind of awkward and strange. Maybe her openly kind demeanor can even seem suspicious to some. But- she has good intentions and she gets a lot better at talking you when you get to know her. She's extremely loyal, thoughtful and considerate, and she has this comforting vibe about her that makes her seem like the perfect person to project your insecurities on and use as a therapist- i mean confide in.

Nina appears to be rather naive. Nina doesn't seem to stem from ignoranceโ€“ or a lack of knowing better. This blind trust in others seems to originate from a love of people. She wants to believe in everyone even if she's knows they are using her or if they are a bad person. (Though, admittedly she isn't the brightest bulb when it comes to logical decisions) There are many times when she knew she was being manipulated and she let it happen, so long as it didn't hurt someone else. She doesn't have very much self worth.

Nina also has a hard time conveying her feelings to people in general. She doesn't comprehend body language or social cues like most people do. Things like sarcasm and most humor can easily go over her head. But she's spent most of her life trying to hide her autism so she's learned how to laugh along with stuff she doesn't get. Which kinda makes her a good liar, it's an unfitting talent, to be honest. But she finds herself lying more than she'd like to admit. She also finds herself almost manipulating people in a guilt-trippy way when she's upset, but that's just her parent's influence poking out sometimes. And she almost always immediately corrects herself.

Having to go to bed now for work but I wanted to post this now. Mainly cause it'll get lost on my PC somewhere.

Age(16+): Actual age is currently 32 but due to advanced healing properties in his blood he looks a lot younger than he is.

Rion is a fair-skinned young man in appearance, he possesses a sort of youthful vibrance to his skin that one would normally find in someone who is wealthy and bathes regularly. He spends his days locked away in any nook or cranny he was allowed, studying away till his eyes gave in. His eyes were something to be desired by some, others found them uniquely disturbing. Though Rion is human by birth and, mostly, appears to be one there are two very distinct traits that give away his uniqueness--his eyes. They aren't of any natural human hue, they possess a sort of citrine-like color. Giving him a sort of animalistic look, though his pupils are normal orb-shaped like humans. His hair is black as raven feathers and sleek just the same. It is kept somewhat short, allowing bangs to drape diagonally across his brow, though most days his hair is in whatever position the wind decides that day.

Somewhat below average height, Rion stands up straight at 5'10" even--carrying a lean body with broad shoulders. He spends his days and nights running the streets, alleys, and rooftops of most of Zorro. He is flexible, fast, and has an incredible sense of reaction time--whether these were gifts of a god or the curse of his life, these skills are the only reason Rion has survived this long. Even to this day, Rion cares not for the attire he wears, often he could be found in a simple shirt, pants, and shoes, perhaps a cloak if the weather called for it. However, he has within his possession a collection of clothes and accessories that help fuel his nightly escapades.

This outfit consists of the following: Specially made performance boots that allow for better traction, giving Rion the ability to climb walls and crevices with greater ease. They are made of a blended material for durability and comfort and are an equal mix of brown and dark grey in color. Most boots reach up to the knee but these only travel as far as the lower end of the calf, giving more mobility to the wearer. The pants are a mix of brown and grey as well and are a variation of canvas-style pants. Unlike normal canvas pants, these pairs have a sturdier waist similar to an adventurer's or a knight's pants. They also have many pockets, some less obvious than others. Rion wears a leather vest of solid grey with a V-neck style opening, many pockets of various sizes adorn the vest as well. Over this, Rion wears a custom-made coat that is essentially just sleeves, for this coat has no tail whatsoever. Long dark brown and gray sleeves connect to his shoulders by several belt straps that connect across his chest and back. Sewn into each shoulder of each sleeve is a large hooded cloth, a solid dark grey in color. Lastly, but certainly not least, Rion bears a mask over his face when he adorns this persona. The mask itself is made from common linen and leathers as well as the bones of fallen monsters, various pieces of skull fragments give the mask a mysterious beastly feature--it comes closest to resembling a monstrous deer.

Weapon/Armor/Gear: A unique dagger he has named Chimera. It was crafted in such a way that allows Rion to slide alchemic vials into the hilt of the blade and have the contents be released onto the blade and thus, his enemies.

Home-Made Alchemist Kit: Rion has collected small pieces of alchemic equipment over the years, some tools were crafted by Rion so they don't function as well as if he were in a proper lab.

Abilities:
Enhanced Reflexes - Rion possesses naturally enhanced reflexes allowing him to react faster than normal humans but through the graces of Ada, Rion can call upon mana to push his body even further for very short periods of time. The amount of increase in the ability would be equivalent to a 0.5% power boost. Doesn't seem like much but when it comes to speedy reaction, all and any time matters.(I hope this is okay since I an given up earth bending for a passive skill.)

Unnatural Healing - Rion can heal better and faster than others around him. Small cuts and bruises heal in a matter of moments or more while larger injuries tend to take much longer and often require him to rest deeply or even sleep entirely for his full healing potential to take effect.

Cursed Empathy - Rion is unaware of his origins or his parents, he has always believed his ability to sense the presence and thoughts of the monsters that plague these lands has always been a curse. A terrible accident that left him in the wrong place at the worst time. This ability is often ignored and unexplored so it's full potential may not even be realized yet. Thus far, Rion is able to use his ability to hide from vicious monsters that are nearby.

Personality

There isn't much to say about Rion's personality. There isn't much of one, he is socially awkward due to a consistent lack of human interaction or if any, it being negative toward him. The beginning for most sorts the same, two people fall in love(or lust) and conceive a child, care for and raise it, give it the best life they possibly can--but that wasn't the case for this little orange-eyed boy. A secret society of enthusiastic alchemists of sorts gathered frequently in the slums of Zorro, skulking the stalls of the black market for exotic and unique plants, materials, and the like. Among those alchemists existed one, in particular, that was quite mad. They looked to the heavens and wished to play among the other Gods, they sought to create creatures of their own to play with. They covered these obscure ambitions with pretty words of finding salvation in the fight against the waves upon waves of monsters that plague the lands in and around Zorro. So they went to work on their experiments and experiment did they do. Trying everything in the book before coming up with things that even the evilest of gods wouldn't want to be written down for mankind to see. It wasn't until they started kidnapping soon-to-be mothers, testing their theorems on unborn children, did they cross a line they could never come back from.


Rion never knew his birth mother as she did not survive his forthcoming into this world. He, himself, almost didn't survive the encounter--having his very body injected with needles while still in the womb--but through a miraculous interest from the Goddess of nature and health, Ada. Rion struggled to breathe for far too long and those that held his close to lifeless body were already ready to toss him aside. The expressions on their faces as cold and awkward as the gloves they bear. Ada reached out in a most timely manner, placing her hand upon Rion's infant chest. He roared to life with an ear-piercing scream. The alchemists were delighted with this turn of events for just a few moments. Whatever determined the factor, they felt Rion was not a success in the end.

One of the alchemists haphazardly tossed the baby to a woman standing in the corner of the bloodied room. She was told to dispose of 'the thing', but despite having worked with them before something was compelling her to not follow their orders this time. She took the baby and ran, not knowing what she would do with a new baby. Eventually, the daunting requirements of raising a child crept into her mind, and in a panic, she dumped the baby at the nearest church she could find and returned to her 'work' as if she had done as was asked. The cries of Rion could be heard almost immediately, he only had spent a few quick moments on the cold, wet concrete steps before he was picked up by a concerned priest. The priest glanced down the streets both ways but saw no one, he happily took the infant child in from the cold misty day. He cared for Rion for days, feeding him milk from cows and oats from fields as best he could.

One day the priest was cleaning the baby when Rion opened his eyes to the world for the first time. The man dropped the rag he was holding in shock. His second reaction was fear. Demon! he yelled at the sight of Rion's unnatural citrine eyes. He started calling upon the Gods, asking for aid, asking for answers to the abomination laying before him. He panicked and before he knew it, he was standing over this helpless infant with a blade between his fingers just inches from Rion's heart. Moments of silence passed before the priest collected himself and realized he could not kill a baby, even if it might be a spawn of evil. That night the priest took Rion to the outskirts of Zorro where he left the baby on a stump on the edge of a forest. He ran, praying that he would be forgiven for this action one day.

Rion was left screaming, all alone in the middle of the woods, with only the animals and the like to hear him. It wasn't long before something came to investigate the infant's cries. A large furry monster that resembled a wolf ventured forth from the tree line and slowly sniffed the naked human baby as he flailed about the hard tree stump. At first, the monster peered down at Rion like he was an easy snack but then it suddenly tilted its head as if something strange struck its nose. Just then a couple of similar creatures burst from the bushes. These were much, much smaller than the first though. It was clear this was a mother and its monster pups. Perhaps it was motherly instincts that override the monster's desire to eat Rion but it had decided to lift its body and position itself so that Rion could feed on its teet.

The mother continued to return once a day and feed Rion, perhaps hoping that this strange-smelling human's mother would return for it some day. Unfortunately, upon returning one morning to once again feed Rion the monstrous mother wolf met her demise at the blades of some Slayers. There were reports of monster activity in the area, which was close enough to the city that it weathered enough concern to call upon lethal force. At first, the slayers hadn't noticed the boy sleeping on the worn stump but the clash of fangs and blade had woken the poor baby and he roared. Not knowing what else to do, the Slayers took the baby back to Zorro and placed him in the care of an orphanage with so many children that no one had time to notice his bizarre eyes.


Years passed on and Rion was but another shadow in the orphanage as there were just too many kids for any one to get special attention. He wasn't maybe seven or eight when he took the streets, learning their ways and how to survive his role in life. Begging was never something he got good at, or felt right doing. He went out and tried to work for his earnings, sweeping shops or whatever task they'd ask of him. Some days getting nothing in return, others sometimes only food. It wasn't until he'd shown interest and knowledge in a particular alchemy shop he was sweeping one day that he started to finally make an earning. Actually getting paid for cleaning eventually turned into him haphazardly studying chemical compounds and mixtures. By the time Rion had reached adulthood, an alchemist shop hired him on as an assistant and to this day he works there part time, always learning, always earning.

Rion is a fair-skinned young man in appearance, he possesses a sort of youthful vibrance to his skin that one would normally find in someone who is wealthy and bathes regularly. Though Rion is human by birth and, mostly, appears to be one there are two very distinct traits that give away his uniqueness--his eyes. They aren't of any natural human hue, they possess a sort of citrine-like color. Giving him a sort of animalistic look, though his pupils are normal orb-shaped like humans. His hair is black as raven feathers and sleek just the same. It is kept somewhat short, allowing bangs to drape diagonally across his brow, though most days his hair is in whatever position the wind decides that day.

Somewhat below average height, Rion stands up straight at 5'10" even--carrying a lean body with broad shoulders. He spends his days and nights running the streets, alleys, and rooftops of most of Zorro. He is flexible, fast, and has an incredible sense of reaction time--whether these were gifts of a god or the curse of his life, these skills are the only reason Rion has survived this long. Even to this day, Rion cares not for the attire he wears, often he could be found in a simple shirt, pants, and shoes, perhaps a cloak if the weather called for it. However, he has within his possession a collection of clothes and accessories that help fuel his nightly escapades.

This outfit consists of the following: Specially made performance boots that allow for better traction, giving Rion the ability to climb walls and crevices with greater ease. They are made of a blended material for durability and comfort and are an equal mix of brown and dark grey in color. Most boots reach up to the knee but these only travel as far as the lower end of the calf, giving more mobility to the wearer. The pants are a mix of brown and grey as well and are a variation of canvas-style pants. Unlike normal canvas pants, these pairs have a sturdier waist similar to an adventurer's or a knight's pants. They also have many pockets, some less obvious than others. Rion wears a leather vest of solid grey with a V-neck style opening, many pockets of various sizes adorn the vest as well. Over this, Rion wears a custom-made coat that is essentially just sleeves, for this coat has no tail whatsoever. Long dark brown and gray sleeves connect to his shoulders by several belt straps that connect across his chest and back. Sewn into each shoulder of each sleeve is a large hooded cloth, a solid dark grey in color. Lastly, but certainly not least, Rion bears a mask over his face when he adorns this persona. The mask itself is made from common linen and leathers as well as the bones of fallen monsters, various pieces of skull fragments give the mask a mysterious beastly feature--it comes closest to resembling a monstrous deer.

Weapon/Armor/Gear: A unique dagger he has named Chimera. It was crafted in such a way that allows Rion to slide alchemic vials into the hilt of the blade and have the contents be released onto the blade and thus, his enemies.

Home-Made Alchemist Kit: Rion has collected small pieces of alchemic equipment over the years, some tools were crafted by Rion so they don't function as well as if he were in a proper lab.

Abilities:
Enhanced Reflexes - Rion possesses naturally enhanced reflexes allowing him to react faster than normal humans but through the graces of Ada, Rion can call upon mana to push his body even further for very short periods of time. The amount of increase in the ability would be equivalent to a 0.5% power boost. Doesn't seem like much but when it comes to speedy reaction, all and any time matters.(I hope this is okay since I an given up earth bending for a passive skill.)

Unnatural Healing - Rion can heal better and faster than others around him. Small cuts and bruises heal in a matter of moments or more while larger injuries tend to take much longer and often require him to rest deeply or even sleep entirely for his full healing potential to take effect.

Cursed Empathy - Rion is unaware of his origins or his parents, he has always believed his ability to sense the presence and thoughts of the monsters that plague these lands has always been a curse. Weapon:
Azyra is known best for the use of the spear and other polearms she can get her hands on. Adaptable at heart, she tends to carry various weapons ranging from glaives and war scythes to luceme hammers and halberds. Though her preferred weapon set is her tried and true spear and shield, balancing her offense and defense. In a fight, she tends to be in the thick of it, using her abilities in conjunction with magics to disrupt and destroy.

Armor:
Known as the "Cerulean Lancer" for her armour, Azyra wears a blue breastplate overtop of leather armour hidden under her tunic, fitted with gauntlets over her arms and grieves over her legs of a matching colour, the armour is relatively balanced and fitted well to her, allowing her to keep mobile without sacrificing her defense. Underneath the armour and tunic, often are bandages of wounds that have yet to recover.

Gear:
Azyra tends to keep several trinkets from her previous times in several guilds, though she constantly has several salves, natural remedies, bandages, and whatnot on her to aid in treating injuries.

Abilities:
Curse of Duality: Azyra hosts a duality of powers in her arsenal, one of which being the Mana pool within her, the other, being Chaos Energy. This grants her a unique role in her ability to affect the physiological and psychological abilities of those around her, with her mana she can boost her ally's coordination, slow down how they perceive time, and disrupt the chaos energy and mana of their foe. On the other side, with the Chaos Energy she has, Azyra can cause her enemy to lose their balance, coordination in limbs, alter their perception of time, confuse them, befuddle them, and hinder their every action. However, because of this curse of hers, it is incredibly hard to heal Azyra through any magical means, leaving her on her own for recovering injuries. Other drawbacks lie inherently within her body and psyche, the Chaos Energy causes at times fits of madness, which can range from simply crying uncontrollably, to murderous rampages. Adding in this, the Chaos Energy is slowly corrupting her body, causing at times immense pain, and slowly turning Azyra into the things she sought to destroy, A monster.

Awakening
: A dangerous action for Azyra to take, infusing her body with the Chaos Energy, she can exponentially increase her strength, speed, and stamina past what her body is capable of for a few minutes, at the cost of the internal damage her body takes, and the advance of the Corruption on her body. Physically her usually green eyes change to a gold colour, with a vertical slit pupil, her nails harden into small claws, and the muscles and bones increase in mass to aid in damage control.

Personality
Most could describe Azyra as a bright young woman, typically with a slight, near undetectable smile curling her lips. Well versed and eloquent, Azyra tends to sit well with those around her, seldom saying anything one may object to, though she is known to give criticism to her fellow adventuring companions, never in a cruel way, but more as a outstretched hand offering help to them. Though she may seem to be a socialite, in all honesty, Azyra is quite the solitary type, preferring to spend her time quietly enjoying what peace she can get, when she can get it, especially considering her bouts of madness and what she could do in them, it bothers her deeply to think of the effects of the curse that was placed upon her. In battle, her attitude shifts from a quiet and tranquil person, into the persona of the Cerulean Lancer, first into the fray, Azyra engages her foe quickly, never being one to surrender or give even an inch, she wants her enemy to pay for every bit of ground they take, and will ferociously press the attack on them relentlessly.

Biography

Born to Lukas and Melia Costanza, Azyra was an only child of a family of slayers. Living a quiet life for the early years of her life, as her mother remained home while her father would ensure that they had something to eat. Though that life would start uprooting with the injury of Lukas' partner, Klaus. As the two were hunting, a monster had injured the man grievously, taking the man's arm and leaving Lukas on his own, in that time, Melia had regained her wanderlust, wanting to explore again, and more so rejoin her husband on his missions. Leaving Azyra alone for at first part of a day, then for a day, then for a few days. This went on for at least a year, Azyra's parents leaving to fight, to slay, and ensure the future of their child was to be one of peace and care. They did their best to teach her how to tend to her basic needs, and allowed those of their community to aid their daughter.

As the years slowly passed, Azyra began to take more the ideas of her parents, and wanted to join them in the field for their "hunt" of sorts. Learning from her father, Azyra took up simple basics of spearmanship, and took the girl out with them on the mission to simply observe at first, watch what they do, and see firsthand what it was like, then, return home to celebrate victory. The times were simple for Azyra, as she was weaned into the world her parents had seen for years.

By the time she was sixteen, however, Azyra was fully brought into combat with her parents, making a deadly duo into a trio, and experiencing successes rather quickly. It took Azyra months to recover from her injuries, and yet, even then, she felt safest under the skies above, her mother always praised Myera, and now, Azyra owed the goddess her life for the blessing gifted to the new angel, whose wings had only but just spread for the first time, she wasn't going to waste the gifts she had received, not until she had her revenge on the monster that took those closest to her....

In that time, she had earned the title of the "Cerulean Lancer" after the colour her armour was. Azyra wasn't going to stop though, taking her curse, and using it to her advantage in her disruptive abilities, the monster in question had used the same abilities she now possessed, and she turned that Chaotic Energy into a tool of hers, staying in the thick of most of the battles her companions had experienced with poise and courage.

Weapon:

Azyra is known best for the use of the spear and other polearms she can get her hands on. Adaptable at heart, she tends to carry various weapons ranging from glaives and war scythes to luceme hammers and halberds. Though her preferred weapon set is her tried and true spear and shield, balancing her offense and defense. In a fight, she tends to be in the thick of it, using her abilities in conjunction with magics to disrupt and destroy.

Armor:
Known as the "Cerulean Lancer" for her armour, Azyra wears a blue breastplate overtop of leather armour hidden under her tunic, fitted with gauntlets over her arms and grieves over her legs of a matching colour, the armour is relatively balanced and fitted well to her, allowing her to keep mobile without sacrificing her defense. Underneath the armour and tunic, often are bandages of wounds that have yet to recover.

Azyra tends to keep several trinkets from her previous times in several guilds, though she constantly has several salves, natural remedies, bandages, and whatnot on her to aid in treating injuries.

Abilities:

Curse of Duality: Azyra hosts a duality of powers in her arsenal, one of which being the Mana pool within her, the other, being Chaos Energy. This grants her a unique role in her ability to affect the physiological and psychological abilities of those around her, with her mana she can boost her ally's coordination, slow down how they perceive time, and disrupt the chaos energy and mana of their foe. On the other side, with the Chaos Energy she has, Azyra can cause her enemy to lose their balance, coordination in limbs, alter their perception of time, confuse them, befuddle them, and hinder their every action. However, because of this curse of hers, it is incredibly hard to heal Azyra through any magical means, leaving her on her own for recovering injuries. Other drawbacks lie inherently within her body and psyche, the Chaos Energy causes at times fits of madness, which can range from simply crying uncontrollably, to murderous rampages. Adding in this, the Chaos Energy is slowly corrupting her body, causing at times immense pain, and slowly turning Azyra into the things she sought to destroy, A monster.

Awakening
: A dangerous action for Azyra to take, infusing her body with the Chaos Energy, she can exponentially increase her strength, speed, and stamina past what her body is capable of for a few minutes, at the cost of the internal damage her body takes, and the advance of the Corruption on her body. Physically her usually green eyes change to a gold colour, with a vertical slit pupil, her nails harden into small claws, and the muscles and bones increase in mass to aid in damage control.

Personality

Most could describe Azyra as a bright young woman, typically with a slight, near undetectable smile curling her lips. Well versed and eloquent, Azyra tends to sit well with those around her, seldom saying anything one may object to, though she is known to give criticism to her fellow adventuring companions, never in a cruel way, but more as a outstretched hand offering help to them. Though she may seem to be a socialite, in all honesty, Azyra is quite the solitary type, preferring to spend her time quietly enjoying what peace she can get, when she can get it, especially considering her bouts of madness and what she could do in them, it bothers her deeply to think of the effects of the curse that was placed upon her. In battle, her attitude shifts from a quiet and tranquil person, into the persona of the Cerulean Lancer, first into the fray, Azyra engages her foe quickly, never being one to surrender or give even an inch, she wants her enemy to pay for every bit of ground they take, and will ferociously press the attack on them relentlessly.

Born to Lukas and Melia Costanza, Azyra was an only child of a family of slayers. Living a quiet life for the early years of her life, as her mother remained home while her father would ensure that they had something to eat. Though that life would start uprooting with the injury of Lukas' partner, Klaus. As the two were hunting, a monster had injured the man grievously, taking the man's arm and leaving Lukas on his own, in that time, Melia had regained her wanderlust, wanting to explore again, and more so rejoin her husband on his missions. Leaving Azyra alone for at first part of a day, then for a day, then for a few days. This went on for at least a year, Azyra's parents leaving to fight, to slay, and ensure the future of their child was to be one of peace and care. They did their best to teach her how to tend to her basic needs, and allowed those of their community to aid their daughter.

As the years slowly passed, Azyra began to take more the ideas of her parents, and wanted to join them in the field for their "hunt" of sorts. Learning from her father, Azyra took up simple basics of spearmanship, and took the girl out with them on the mission to simply observe at first, watch what they do, and see firsthand what it was like, then, return home to celebrate victory. Your OC is an angel, are you incorporating wings(flight) into her? If you dont, can you add personal lore as to why she didnt sprout wings or how they got taken/destroyed? Beyond that, it was a lovely read and youre 1000% accepted regardless.

They can be tattered or destroyed from the curse but when the goddess of the sky intervened that was a blessing unto your OC. Making her subhuman.
