It has been five years since the defeat of Malefore, AKA The Dark Master. Since then, the Dragon Realms have been steadily repairing itself, reattaching the regions to each other. Since then, it has been relatively peaceful in the Realms. Recently however, strange activity has been reported all over the Realms. This activity ranges from strange zones of Darkness, strange looking figures of a unknown species wearing Black Robes which were described as looking like hairless apes and most shockingly, creatures made out of pure Darkness appearing and attacking denizens of the Realms. Even worse, eggs and Hatchlings have been disappearing from the Temple. As the Guardians struggle to figure out the cause of these occurrences, the rest of the Hatchlings and eggs have been placed under extreme watch and care to prevent more disappearances. You are currently a Dragon, either a hatchling or a adult living in or near the Dragon Temple. Or another species who are allied with the dragons The disappearances have unnerved both you and your friends. As a result, you, along with the rest of your friends, have kept a vigilant eye open for any kidnap attempts. This constant vigilance surprisingly payed off when a group of young dragons under instruction of a older dragon was attacked by the Shadow Creatures, who were lead by one of the figures in black.

The creatures and their robed master managed to slay the adult dragon and run off with most of the younglings. Thamkfully, you were nearby along with other dragons and immediately gave pursuit, not knowing that this will take on a adventure that will take you between two worlds.

Name: Shade
Age: Young
Gender: Male
Species: Dragon
Breath Weapon/Element: Aether
Appearance:

As a young dragon, Shade is slim bodied with a very large wingspan for his age. His scales are largely a dark purpleish-grey color, with black along the top of his head and his back, and a much lighter shade of grey for his underbelly and the webbing of his wings. Although Shade has green eyes, they seem to be changing to a different color over time..... Strange energy sometimes crackles around him in a worryingly unstable fashion.

As a matured dragon, Shade is slimmer than most other males; retaining his lean musculature and large wingspan from his youth. His scales have become such a dark purple that they appear almost black and his horns and spikes have all grown longer, with the blades on his tail possessing a particularly savage edge. His eyes have changed from green to pink.

Personality:




Background: Several years ago whilst still in his egg, Shade was captured by the Shadows as part of the first Temple raid by Atlas and brought to a laboratory on Earth. There, as part of Atlas' plan to create a powerful dragon army he was exposed to Aether and forced to hatch; awakening with a strong, unnatural affinity for the mysterious element. (Will add more)

Captured By The Shadows?: Yes: Shade was captured as an egg during the first temple raid and taken to one of the wizard strongholds, where he was exposed to aether and imbued with unnatural powers. His transformation was a huge testament to the corruption process, but his progress thus far has proven rather disappointing. So even though he may be put into the field very few wizards attempt to control him as he possesses a personality as unstable as his powers.

Breath Weapon/Element: Shadow (Formerly fire)

As a young dragon, Xanatos is quite large for his age, but....his wings don't seem to have kept up with his most recent growth spurt. As a fire dragon he was originally orange and red in coloration, but the corruption of his element has turned the majority of his scales black; leaving only the red parts unchanged. Xanatos sports an impressive set of horns that he is very proud of and the blades on his wing and tail are sharp enough to be used in combat.

As an adult, Xanatos has indeed grown into a large and powerful looking dragon. He is larger than most of the other males of his kind and much to his relief his wings are finally proportionate to the rest of his body. His horns are very large and impressive and his red mane has spread further down his back to the first third of his tail. The blades on his wings and at the tip of his tail are now large enough to slice small opponents in half during close combat. Xanatos bears a strong resemblance to the Guardian Terrador and it is possible that they might be distant relatives.

Personality:


Background: Xanatos is the brother of Shade and was a hatchling when the first Temple raid occurred. He fought with one of the creatures that attempted to capture him, but was no match for his attacker; being quickly knocked unconscious by one swift blow to the head. Only luck saved him, because as he fell his body slipped between some rubble and the monster didn't have enough time to dig him out before it had to leave with the others. Xanatos has still not forgiven himself for his failure to protect his unhatched sibling.

When Xanatos was old enough to have an idea of where he wanted his training to lead him he chose to pursue the path of a warrior. He's focused on learning how to fight and he admires the great dragon Guardians for their strength, but is less inclined to pay attention to the teachings of anything other than physical training. Xanatos prefers to solve problems by fighting it out, and is one of the most physically strong youngsters in the Temple. He seems himself as a sort of protector for the smaller hatchlings; going to great lengths to prove how strong and brave he is.

Captured by The Shadows?: Xanatos was briefly captured along with the other dragons who's investigation was interrupted by the Shadow creatures. During his capture at the facility he was exposed to Shadow energy and it corrupted his elemental affinity from fire to shadow.


Name: Zephyr
Age: Mature
Gender: Male
Species: Dragon
Breath Weapon: Wind
Appearance:

Zephyr, unlike most male dragons is very slim and aerodynamic in appearance. He is plainly built for life in the skies, and this makes it more difficult for him when fighting on the ground... simply put, he is not very strong or durable when engaging in close, physical combat. Instead he must rely on his speed, quick wits, and powerful wind affinity to rapidly take his opponents out as quickly as possible. Zephyr is mostly shades of blue, with a much lighter underbelly, white horns, and red eyes. He wears a light, gold-colored armor that is thick enough to offer somewhat decent protection, but not so much that it affects his ability to move quickly. The majority of his battle scars are hidden beneath the armor, very few have seen him without it.

Background:

Zephyr, was born before the creation of the New World and for the majority of his life he had participated in the fight against the Dark Master's army. Although he was able to survive the war through a combination of luck and skill, many of his comrades died to protect the remainder of dragonkind and their allies. This knowledge weighs heavily on his heart, and although he wishes to pursuit a more peaceful lifestyle, he cannot leave knowing that his friends would still be out there; risking their lives to defend the Dragon Realms.

Since the war's end, Zephyr has been made one of several new *Mentor dragons responsible for the care and protection of young dragons, specifically those that wish to train as soldiers. Though he does not wish to see the new generations face the same hardships he did during his youth, he would rather they be prepared for what might be waiting in the future. The majority of his teachings are basic survival tactics, and advanced wind element tutoring and ariel maneuvering. Because of his weaker body type, he is often underestimated by other dragons and many of the students refuse to take him seriously. He keeps his experiences as a soldier to himself, but occasionally slips when he becomes frustrated with students that don't take lessons seriously.

*A new post created after the death of so many Guardians to help with the influx of hatchlings. They perform most of the same tasks as Guardians, and are seen as possible candidates to fill out the empty positions.

Captured by Atlas?: Not yet. Zephyr is only aware that the dragons sent on the investigative mission have disappeared and intends to find them.
