Backstory
PAST SELF BACKSTORY
♛As Nobodies are derived from 'Somebody', they all have an original backstory. Could be anything from a baker who happened to stumble upon the elder by chance, or could be a thriving discipline taken by the elder in hopes of their potential coming to fruition under her. Three sentences minimum.

CURRENT SELF BACKSTORY
♛All current characters do not remember their past selves as their 'heart' was stolen in order to become a Nobody. The previous backstory is only important once they regain who they are. This backstory is more important. This is once they become a Nobody. e.g. they are now a studious combatant who spends their nights in the library. This will mostly be regarding how they fit into their group/their purpose/why they are helping The Elder (who everyone currently sees in a good light for the most part except for certain roles). Three sentence minimum.

PAST SELF BACKSTORY
♛ A governess within the world she knows now to have been called the Enchanted Dominion. Back then, her time was spent as a private children's teacher to the families of lesser nobles. By reputation, she was thought of as a brilliant teacher & recommended widely within her social circles. In character, she carried a tendency to be regarded as mismannered in speech & deportment, never able to meet the eyes of another or speak without doing so labored & twice.

Modern psychiatry calls this social anxiety. To speak with children came as simply as breathing, but to talk to their parents or their circles was a grave ask that kept her perpetually in the next room over. As she was harmless enough, the families that employed her did so knowing the trouble that came with her & her life as a governess went easily enough.

CURRENT SELF BACKSTORY
♛ An auxiliary unit. It's not often that she's assigned missions, as her weaknesses on the field far outweigh her strengths. A moment of hesitation to defend her allies could never be made up for by healing. What the Elder saw in her, Dauxine will never know. Are speaking Nobodies so rare that even a coward would be recruited into the Organization?

Though, to the Elder's defense, she has never once hesitated to defend her allies. Perhaps he knows something she yet does not & it's for this that she'll carry out the tasks sets before her for the sake of Kingdom Hearts.

Without direction, they live off the pure instinct to kill but she knows they have no will to. How could they? Without stomachs to feed or conscious to hate with, what else could motivate their actions? If there is balance in this universe, how could beings made only to be eradicated exist? Dauxine knows there's more to them. There has to be.

The Elder would come to attend one of his concerts—a humble performance of his original pieces with a charming orchestra ensemble. After the event, he would come to invite Xathos over a cup of coffee; a conversation that would whisk him away into the night and among the stars.

♛ᅠThe inheritor and current holder of one of the pure hearts, Xathos is venerated and celebrated as the unequivocal savior—the champion who will be why Kingdom Hearts can be theirs. His arrogance, though bordering delusion however, comes from a sincere faith in his strength and the Elder whom believed in him. Xathos truly, genuinely wants to be there for his comrades. He sees himself as an irreplaceable asset that the group refuses to depend on even at the cost of their lives, and it frustrates him to no end. Only the Disciple seems to see him and what he can do for what they truly are, and it is through them that these more sentimental aspects of his disposition shine through. Despite toiling in what he thinks to be a thankless burden, he has always been, and will always be there for his people for better or worse. His sword will be acknowledged as invaluable by all one day. He simply hopes that day will come sooner.

Harnessing the moisture in the air, Xathos draws razor-thin threads that span the area—strands of water nigh imperceptible to the eye that will either indiscriminately lacerate or burst on contact, discombobulating targets. Xathos is able to interact with these fibrils with his weapons to varying effect. A Gymnopédie will be able to draw the thread back, for example, whereas his sword may manually cause these filaments to erupt.

♛ᅠXathos, in a cruel twist of fate, is horrible with plants; an antithesis to his excellence in tending to gardens prior to him becoming a Nobody. He remains enamored with the beauty of nature, however, luxuriating among the flowers and trees in his free time to take in the scenery. Often after his own personal set of training, he'd cap the day off with an evening jog or stroll around the area.

Sometimes, in the earliest crack of dawn, he would secretly practice his gardening in more secluded areas of the Radient Garden; all to tragic and humiliating defeat every single attempt. He would much rather die than let anyone know of this. Or kill, whichever is easier.

♛ᅠDownstream of the dereliction of his ability to tend to plants, Xathos' mastery and finesse over music has become significantly more prodigious. Sheafs of sheet music meant for orchestras have all been written singlehandedly, often in more feverish nights during a particularly strenuous bout of training, or a taxing run. The Elder spoils him exceedingly already, but moreso for this; any instrument or items that Xathos wishes are his without question nor exception.

In calmer nights, it wouldn't be uncommon to hear elegant piano notes, or velvet violin overtures echoing through the halls as Xathos would typically be its cause, transposing another "masterpiece" his comrades would be condemned to hear for the next two weeks.

♛ᅠA significant portion, if not the entirety, of Xathos' routines in order to maintain his appearance is more voluntary than necessary. He finds great joy in pampering himself, seeing his drawn out baths, luxurious creams, and dietary regimes as rewards befitting of someone as he. Even without these, Xathos' beauty would be untarnished to the deep consternation of his critics.

To this end, however, he is quite meticulous in the upkeep of both his physical health as well as the quality of his equipment. He extends the same standards to his comrades, whom in his opinion, should at the very least look presentable next to him. He is of the philosophy that half of the battle is won with style, and if it means deigning to ensure that his organization looks and is as sharp as he is, then so be it. This has led to unintentional benefits, as Xathos' scrutiny and keen eye has allowed, for instance, their equipment to remain in lasting top conditions. He is also knowledgeable in herbs and materials that have good cleansing properties because of his vanity, though good luck on convincing him to forage for them himself.

♛ᅠXathos was the youngest of four in his family during his time as a Somebody. While not necessarily the black sheep, the lack of expectation and responsibility placed on his shoulders as the clan's last child meant for plenty of leeway in the way that he lived his life. He eschewed a lot of the opulence that followed his surname in favor of doing what he pleased, fulfilling his bare minimum obligations to his family such as attending to guests, or maintaining somewhat of a reputation as a prodigy with the piano and violin.

His disappearance raised eyebrows, but to his mother and father, Xathos' absence was inconsequential. Somewhat of an effort was made to search and grieve to keep up appearances, but he would not be missed. The prevailing rumor even to the choir and instrumentalists he worked with was that he had wordlessly traveled away, onto other places where he can freely pursue his artistry.

♛Leox, who was a apprentice for a world renowned baker, who appreciates baking on his free time was discovered by the baker and taken as his apprentice because of his knowledge and his love for baking. Leox's parents and peers heard of this and tried to coerce Leox to not take the offer as bakery was never successful profession and the baker was just really lucky he got to where he is now. Leox however brushed all these comments aside and pursued it which resulted in him being outcasted by everyone. This made him start to doubt himself and his choice but the baker reassures whichever path he chooses to walk down is not incorrect and that he should choose what he wants to do.

CURRENT SELF BACKSTORY

♛When Leox was wandering around town he just arrived at, sees a mysterious figure sitting at a cafe looking directly at him. This unnerved Leox so he turned and tried to blend into the crowd hoping to shy away from his gaze. However when he turned around, he saw the person who he was trying to hide from in front of him and grabs his shoulder and takes him to an alleyway. The suspicious person introduces himself as the Elder and offers to grant Leox some power which Leox ponders and ultimately agrees. The Elder, knowing what kind of power he granted him takes Leox into his abode, away from the town as he knew Leox would soon be target of everyone's interest, both for evil and good. Leox swore loyalty to the Elder and became his disciple to which the Elder puts him through extraneous training so Leox can master his Earth elemental. Leox, who was always taken advantaged of because of his naive nature was slowly beginning to lose hope in finding people who he can trust and befriend, which would have caused him to lose himself but The Elder who saved him, showed there are still people who have good in their heart. Leox hopes to get stronger so he can protect anyone who he can call his friend.

Leox, not being confident in his ability, is always training either on his own or with the Elder, who he views as his fatherly figure. Leox always loathed solitude as he grew up in it, began to slowly embrace it especially after he started to train, as he can sort out his emotions. He learned solitude was a great way to rediscover himself and what he really stands for. His "first" friend or who he trusted was The Scholar, who he was fascinated with because of his vast knowledge. Leox will use his free time to talk The Scholar and ask different questions, which the Scholar will answer. However one day, Leox saw Scholar and the Elder talking and noticed Scholar's demeanor a bit off from his self around Leox. This caused Leox to grow wary of The Scholar and decided to observe him from afar.

♛Zexal's story began in the hallowed halls of the Sanctum of Erudition, amidst the soft whispers of ancient tomes and the scent of incense. Under the tutelage of the sage Irithel, he embarked upon the path of knowledge, eager to drink deeply from the wellspring of wisdom that lay before him.

From the outset, Zexal distinguished himself as a prodigious intellect, his mind hungry for understanding and his spirit ablaze with curiosity. While his peers were easily perplexed over intricate texts and struggled to interpret ancient runes, Zexal seemed to dance effortlessly through the labyrinth of confusion.

But with great knowledge came great responsibility, and Irithel, in her seemingly boundless wisdom, cautioned Zexal against the perils of unchecked curiosity. She spoke of debarred research, of secrets better left undisturbed, and warned of the dire consequences that could befall those who dared to tread where mortals were not meant to tread.

Yet, in his youthful arrogance, Zexal scorned such counsel, his thirst for knowledge blinding him to the sagacity of his mentor's words. To him, there could be no such thing as too much knowledge, no boundary that could not be breached in the pursuit of truth. For was not knowledge the very essence of progress, the lifeblood of civilization itself?

In defiance of Irithel's warnings, Zexal delved deeper into the Forbidden Knowledge, his insatiable curiosity driving him to uncover the secrets that lay hidden from mortal eyes. It was there, amidst the forsaken tomes and scrolls, that he stumbled upon the greatest secret of all—the cycle of life and death.

But knowledge, as his mentor had warned, came at a price, and Zexal soon found himself ensnared in a web of his own making. When his illicit studies were discovered, the wrath of the sages descended upon him with righteous fury, and Zexal was banished from the sanctum, never again would he be allowed to tread on the consecrated grounds of wisdom.

Yet even in exile, fate had other plans for Zexal. In time, he was approached by The Elder, who invited him to become part of their organisation as one of its eminent members, and of course, the dishonoured scholar agreed.

♛Under Zexal's guidance, the organisation has performed research into the Keyblade and the Heartless. He is fiercely intelligent, despite having sacrificed some of his wisdom unto his greatest piece of work. Zexal is a guardian of knowledge and an astute strategist whose wisdom has guided the organisation to many victories.

The results of his work, years of meticulous research, culminated in the creation of his Magnum Opus—The Replica. A wielder of darkness itself, The Replica exists as a highly advanced and enigmatic entity. But his birth was merely the first step towards realising Zexals' grand design. There was yet more work to be done before The Replica could truly be turned into the perfect creation—a literal god.

♛A refugee from a world swallowed by darkness, Xirene hardly knew their parents. Instead, they were taken in by a gruff (but kind) Gummi Ship pilot. Though allegedly a ferryman and cargo transporter, their father actually spent most working nights scavenging Gummi blocks from fallen ships and worlds. At the time, Xirene's small stature made them the perfect fit for crawling into tight spaces and their lack of shelter...the perfect excuse not to pay them a living wage. As they grew older however, they longed to actually explore other worlds rather than just swing by for parts or drop off cargo. Spending all of their time on a ship made them feel like a zoo animal rather than the travelers spoken of in fiction.

On one particular stop, Xirene struck up a conversation with The Elder, who sold them tales of adventure and broadening their horizons. This, in combination with Xirene's inherent yearning for travel made it an easy choice to say goodbye to their ~~father~~ guardian and join Organization IX.
CURRENT SELF BACKSTORY
♛Since becoming a Nobody, Xirene's life has been one defined by stability. Though every mission has a level of danger, there's never been a fear of death or long term injury. And if there was, The Sage's presence would remind them that nothing couldn't be fixed with a few magic words.

At first, they revered The Elder as a parent, hanging on her every word and every mission an adventure; however, the novelty of discovering themselves soon wore off. Replaced by the duty to restore Kingdom Hearts, they found themselves lacking in purpose. Where other members had their own interests, Xirene had no hobbies. Yes, there were certainly things that appealed to them, but nothing that satiated their boredom.

Because of this, they decided to create their own form of entertainment.

Perhaps a holdover from their previous life, Xirene began messing with the other members of the organization. Small things like misplacing a book or salting someone's drink soon grew into larger and more elaborate schemes. Hiding someone's weapon, shorting out the lights, and even convincing others that someone else performed the prank that they did. Though it has gotten on some people's nerves, it's all in good fun and they would certainly never put their fellow members in danger.

HOW CHARACTER FEELS ABOUT BEING A NOBODY
♛ Naturally there is a sense of loss in losing one’s heart. Becoming two-thirds of a whole. A sense of remorse in multiplying tragedy. While that loss might ache in their chest, there is something revitalizing in becoming something new. Going beyond the black and white of light and shadow, something in the in-between. To know there is more to life’s mystery beyond life and death brings Axrion comfort. It gives them hope that there’s more avenues to saving those that have been lost, those who have become heartless. The idea of possibly finding their heart, becoming whole, and losing this sense of self as a nobody is not distressing– even as a nobody they’re still two-thirds whole. Being driven by their unwavering, indomitable will that lies at the core of who they are. With or without a heart, Axiron is how they’ve always been. What matters more is who they will become.

Backstory
PAST SELF BACKSTORY
♛ Thrust into a nomadic life after losing their homeland to strife. Barely a toddler during the incident, they have vivid memories of their starting grounds. Warm sun on their shoulders. Cool breeze through their hair. To the bite of the winter's cold. The more they traveled, the more they experienced those core memories in other places: while the sun was different at the sea or above the trees; while a summer’s breeze could be cool or thick and humid; even winter’s bite could be nothing more than a soft bark; there were resemblance of home wherever they went. This laid the foundation to Axiron creating fated bonds with life-long friends in each place they traveled. These bonds are why they decided to fight. Lending a hand to whoever was in need. From simple tasks such as gathering supplies for a rural town, clearing jobs posted in a local tavern, even fighting in full-blown conflicts. Always joining the sides of liberators and rebellions. The underdog that focuses on benefiting the people. Enhancing the life of the individual to the community as a whole. Everyone experiences the same sun, same wind, and same winter in one fashion or another. During one fated rebellion Axiron was struck down and awoke under the Elder’s care. Reborn as a nobody with no memories of their fights, only a strong sense of justice and determination. Their will being their anchor to their past and present. Their morals never wavered. Their will never flickered, never faltered, and could never be snuffed out.

CURRENT SELF BACKSTORY
♛ On the surface Organization IX seems to be focused on regaining balance between light and dark. Liberating the hearts from heartless. Returning hearts to the nobodies through Kingdom Hearts. Providing a family of sorts to all those lost in-between light and dark. The other nobodies find genuine comfort in this organization, its goals, and its promise. A promise to regain all of their hearts and become whole. While not whole, none of them are empty. They view the situation as a glass half full rather than half empty. Through a body and will, they’re a two-thirds whole. Axiron finds the Organization to be too cut and dry, black and white. Their very existence is proof there is more beyond light and dark, there is an in-between worth exploring. They cannot shake the feeling there are deeper secrets underneath such noble goals and sweet promises. Having a hyperfocus on reclaiming their lost hearts and becoming whole ignores the individuals they are currently. That loss is something that will never sit right with Axiron– but they understand this new mystery is too much for them to handle with their current ignorance. For now, they cautiously follow the elder while remaining critical of each and every of the elder’s decisions. Using that unfaltering will as their own guiding light.

♛ Axiron strives to have a deeper understanding of the individuality within the heartless and nobodies. To understand how deep the void of darkness is. To understand how bright the light is. To fully explore the mysterious in-between they’ve found themselves in. To learn all of the avenues ahead of them, beyond the simple goal of regaining their hearts from kingdom hearts. In fact, they aim to understand kingdom hearts itself. There is more under the surface they aim to reveal. In the end, they believe lies to the answer as to why strife must always occur. If we’re all born under the same sun, feel the same wind, and welcome the same winter then why must there always be conflict?

Abilities
Bow and Sword
♛ Making full use of their grasp on gravitational forces they crafted a weapon that highlights the adaptability in attraction and repulsion, the push and pull, weight and levitate. Something that allowed them to affect those in close quarters and across the battlefield. Axiron’s weapon has two modes: bow and sword. The bow is created by the sword splitting in half and creating a bow. Notably the inner parts of the bow are not sharp, allowing them to use it without harm. While they have physical arrows, most are created through gravity magic. Turning small pebbles or arrow heads into weapons. They save their arrows for heavy hitting attacks. Sword is when the two halves are put together, turning into a larger two-bladed sword. In size it is more like a horse slaying sword rather than a claymore or broadsword. Bow makes the most use out of Push and Pull. Sword makes the most use out of weight and levitate.

Push and Pull
♛ Push focuses on the ability to propel Axiron’s arrows or sword. Using themself as the focal point, they can push the arrow away or pull it back. Pushing the arrow away allows for swift shots in rapid recession. Pull allows for them to full draw the arrow back in a quick manner, firing shots at full strength with less physical strain. Push on the sword helps quicken downwards movement while pull helps quicken drawing the sword back.

Weight and Levitate
♛ Weight focuses on gravity’s influence over one’s weight. The more gravitational force a planet has the more an individual weighs. Weight and Levitate enable Axiron to use such a large sword as if it was a broadsword. Weight adds to the overall weight of the sword and is mainly used on downward strikes or when their sword clashes. Levitate decreases the sword’s gravitational weight, making it lighter to use. This ability is the core to using the sword. While they can use weight and levitate on themselves, it puts strain on their body in combat.

Note 01
♛ Despite Axiron’s fiery will, they take longer to warm up to others. Instead of having a cold exterior they are more reserved. Observing those around them before acting, before talking. Pleasant to interact with, but never personable. They might tell you some minor personal information, but nothing that would be noteworthy. While reserved, they will always help those around them– but that initial help has some boundaries. If the other is in danger or distress they will do what they can to solve the situation. If the other is having more personal, individualized, issues they will only lend a listening ear.

♛ Axiron is obsessed with citrus and melon flavors. They always have candy, gum, vapes, or dried fruit on their person. They have two separate kinds of good on them, ones of lower quality they share and ones of higher quality they keep selfishly to themselves. This obsession is an easy way to start initiating a friendship.

Note 03
♛ From a young age, their nomadic lifestyle had brought them all over. From different towns to different worlds. While they don’t remember their younger years, they have several souvenirs on their person from each place. They can be anything from a keychain on their belt loop to a bracelet on their wrist. Each souvenir is protected by tooth and nail. The quickest way to make an enemy of Axiron is to purposely damage one of these treasures.

♛ Axiron has a soft spot for all animals, especially wildlife. They love to sit outdoors and watch the local wildlife. It is a major way they regulate their emotions and keep their stress down. While they have a soft spot for all animals, they are more distant with domestic and house animals. Waiting for the animal to show signs of affection and friendship first. They will never pet an animal first.

HOW CHARACTER FEELS ABOUT BEING A NOBODY
Is a heart an instrument of misery or the key to the vague tone she’s chasing? Will possessing a heart change her perception of the sounds she falls asleep to every night? A burning curiosity draws her towards the desire to reclaim her heart, yet her priorities remain within the zither on her lap and the will of The Scholar. If a heart is useless to his plans, then so be it, and the same goes for the reversed scenario. Conversely, a thorn of fear has begun to wedge itself into her conscience, questioning whether obtaining a heart would be another step towards perfection or a scar that mars her beyond saving. For what reason had the original lost theirs in the first place?

Backstory
PAST SELF BACKSTORY
In a room illuminated by a single flame flickering upon a thin wick, a young girl slept upon a messy carpet of scattered parchment. Ink tarnished the otherwise uninterrupted smoothness of her pudgy cheek, but the child remained dead asleep, dreaming sweetly of the fairy who had descended upon the stage to deliver a voice whose impossibly high notes sung beautifully into the crowd. A man silently crept into her room, pausing in his attempts to tuck his daughter into bed to curiously peek at the scribbled contents of the page tucked under her elbow. Rudely and suddenly, the little girl was shaken awake. Amidst the cranky haze of her half-asleep mind, she could vaguely register the excitement of her father who asked if she’d written everything upon those countless sheets of parchment, near perfect transcriptions of the opera he’d taken her to the night before save for her poor penmanship.

Progressive but soulless. To the harsh critics who’d met the young girl whose eyes sparkled with admiration and genuine love for the musical world, the reputation her music garnered when she reached adulthood seemed illogical. Some argued that she merely composed in a manner that allowed individual artists full freedom to pour whatever emotions into playing her works without their interpretation being considered wrong. Others claimed that she had lost her way the moment money began pouring into her coffers. Whatever the case, there was no denying her genius, and the commissions continued to be sent her way.

A young woman whose visage wore a sickly pallor gazed upon the stage highlighting the figure of a witch in black. Notes that erratically pitched high and low tarnished the hauntingly beautiful memory of a young child who’d known nothing about the anger spat out by the so-called fairy she had once loved. As she watched the witch berate her unfilial daughter, she wondered if she truly loved music or if it had become a gilded cage.

Oh, how she wished to sit within that orchestra pit. In the end, she was knowingly drawn to the source of her grief as if it were a sweet poison.

Sharp pain pinched her wrist, and her hand trembled. Unlike the daughter in the opera, she had ducked her head obediently and killed her dream. Hundreds of works had been penned at her father’s behest, and the parasites within her family gleefully divvied up the riches she’d earned by selling her soul to spread her fame. Write. Write. Write. That was all she ever did. The quill she’d come to so detest had been forced into her hands so many times, she could scarcely hold it without gritting her teeth in pain. But she continued to compose, hiding away the depths of her lament and apathetically writing another piece that was as brilliant as it was dead. She thought, maybe, one day something would sound right and free her from her desires.

Stiff fingers desperately attempted to recall the motion of moving them across coiled strings, but she could only turn away from the stage and leave, defeated.

Upon the steps of the opera house, sweet whispers offering freedom heard her pleas.

Just take me away.

CURRENT SELF BACKSTORY
A musician and composer of great proportion who once spun wordless tales that awed and inspired many, her music is now a hollow echo—a staunch reminder of the void existing where her childish heart once beat. She is a mere Replica who vainly chases after a phantom sound produced by a wunderkind amidst the murky darkness that seeps deeper into her mind with each passing day.

Unbeknownst to The Replica, her current life largely mirrors her past, from their intense dissatisfaction with their work and the way they bow their head obediently to their “creator”. Long gone are the days of her childhood where she foolishly tapped out a random assortment of carefree notes that would become the template of the shackles that bound her. From the moment the Nobody opened her eyes, she imprinted upon The Scholar as her sole beacon of light.

In a desperate attempt to remain within his favor, she stumbled after his shadow, forcing herself back up no matter how many times she was downed. She no longer knows if her desire for achieving perfection is a personal goal or one that has been impressed upon her, but years of hiding away any defects or problems has morphed into an unhealthy habit. Is she mistaken? In the end, it doesn’t matter, for she cannot bring herself to betray the only one who accepted her wretchedness.

A hollow reverberation that failed to replicate the soul of the sound produced by a Somebody and a mere fragment of The Keyblade Wielder’s essence, Xanthe is an imperfect existence attempting to put together a puzzle with mismatched pieces. Her deep-seated inferiority complex feeds into her fear of being discarded if she fails to meet The Scholar’s expectations. Though the Kingdom Hearts and rediscovery of her heart are ultimately of little personal worth to her, her fears drive her to sew her mouth shut and obediently take orders. However, neither The Kingpin nor The Elder are her boss, nor will they ever truly be no matter how well she listens to their commands.

Dark Rapture
Falling into the comforting embrace of darkness, Xanthe’s body and all her vulnerabilities are encapsulated within pitch black armor while her axe gains a shadowy aura. Much like the blackbodies that absorb all light, her dark magic devours the energy of others to bolster the defensive and offensive boons granted by her armor. This armor acts much like a living organism, growing thicker and repairing any sustained damage the more her axe tears into and feeds upon the bodies of the obstacles that dare stand before her. While at full power, even the axe that towers over her petite figure can be easily swung with enough strength to down a solid wall with a single hand.

Persecution Complex
Manifesting her desire to remain unseen, Xanthe uses her mastery over her respective element to plunge a dome-shaped area in darkness. Within the veil, she gains a boost to her offense and defense equivalent to the amount of light that was absorbed during the formation of the dome as well as any current light sources being siphoned. Anyone within this dome has their vision obscured to the point where they wouldn’t be able to see their hand if they waved it directly in front of their face. If she so desires, she can share her ability to “perceive” in the dark, but would she?

Note 01
In both her previous and current lives, Xanthe lived much of their collective lives as a recluse. Though the former “Somebody” was held prisoner within her own home for the sake of her work, the current “Nobody” does so largely out of her own volition. When alone, there’s no one to watch or judge her. There are no expectations, and there are no heads that shake when discovering another one of The Replica’s imperfections. There’s simply Xanthe, the young woman who enjoys listening to the ambient noises thrumming in the background.

Note 02
Loose cloth and flowing sleeves conceal a deceptively powerful frame, and a pair of lace gloves cover the calluses warping her hands. Xanthe finds the appearance of her natural bodylines ugly, even if they’re the result of her efforts to grow stronger. She’s unsightly—so much so to the point where her attire is carefully selected and assembled to falsify an appearance of a picture perfect delicate flower.

Note 03
Observant of the details but doesn’t always know what to do with that knowledge, nor does she typically care enough to ruminate over her options. She holds no desire to navigate through the web of schemers within the organization, as that’s The Scholar’s business and none of hers.

Note 04
Xanthe is the epitome of the phrase “if I can’t see it, it doesn’t exist.” Broke something she shouldn’t have? Toss it somewhere no one will find it and put it out of her mind. Someone keeps bothering her? Ignore them until they get tired of harassing her and go away. Unfortunately, this manner of dealing with her problems has resulted in her shooting herself in the foot on multiple occasions.

If it’s unrelated to a mission or one of The Scholar’s orders, she isn’t the type to make small talk. When she does open her mouth, she usually doesn’t have anything nice to say, though her insults are typically on the subtle end. It’s almost as if she specced all of her brain cells into being saucy instead of into more useful areas.
