Realistic or Modern Legacy Pollentia

"Woah, replicas, huh? That's so cool," he responded, clearly still awestruck by everything that's been going on.

"Oh, food? Uh..." He pauses to think for a second, tapping his chin with his finger.
"I think I'll have some orange chicken on rice, with a small side of creamed corn and a glass of milk to drink."

As Erin speaks of ill effects during shade walking, Koruma's ears perk up.

He gives a light chuckle and looks over at her.
"You seem to be doing well in that department then. And did you say 'shadow travel'? How's that work?"

"My power? Well, abridged I travel with shadows. Detailed I myself can't even explain it. What happens between I mean. The shadow I enter has to be big enough for me to fit in it. So I can't just cram myself into one of those small shadows that are cast from birds.I mean I can use the underside of this table and the corner over there as an example should you need it."

Koruma's eyes light up as she explains her power.
"Really! That's fascinating! So, any shadow you can fit in, huh? Does it have to be your full body? Or can you reach through a smaller one with a hand or something, as well? I mean, the possibilities are so numerous..."

"Oh I can reach through for example." Erin reaches under the table and across the room her hand popped out from the shadow in the corner. "Don't ask for how it happens. Even I'm trying to figure out how it works." She pulled her hand back and it was right back at the table. "Sad to say it reaches it's limit with that sort of accuracy fast."

Caligena Caligena

"That's absolutely incredible. I bet you could get into a lot of mischief with a power like that."
Koruma laughs heartily and winks at Erin playfully.

Then he picks up a spoon in front of him and holds it firmly in his hands for a couple seconds, still smiling as he looks into his reflection in the silverware.

"All I can do is make copies of things. Occasionally helpful some times, but more often than not, it's just sort of mediocre. Almost impractical against anyone with powers."

His eyebrows furrow ever so slightly, and the gems in his bracers and ring dully flash for an brief instant, then he puts the spoon down. The gems dully flash again and part of the metal melts from the bracer on the hand that was holding the spoon, traveling up his hand and forming a precise replica of the spoon he was holding only moments ago, albeit made of the bronzey-looking metal from his bracers instead of the original metal.

(everyone who's looking can see this.)

Makan of course watched this. She was one of the teachers on the island after all, so knowing about the powers of the incoming class was always a valuable thing. She had to admit though that this was quite, unique. Most students and professors of the island had an innate power. Something that they could do on their own. It appeared that Koruma needed that bracelet. It was interesting to say the least.

"Do you need that bracelet to do that?" She asked him. It would be best just to figure it out, and Makan felt that being direct would be the best way to do this.

Koruma is surprised at the teacher's interest in his ability, which he considered to be pretty lame, since he was nothing but a novice 3rd gen blacksmith without them.

"O-oh. Um, yes actually, among other things. I don't know the exact means that it works by, but I these armgaurd things are the crux of my ' 'power' '", he says, clawing some airquotes at the word "power".
