In the heart of Michigan, where it always seems to be cold, there lies a small town namd Auroris. However, this town isn't just some rest-stop for people passing through. Auroris is one of the nations most celebrated towns during the holidays. And the town itself isn't celebrated, no. They celebrate the holiday. Christmas spirit runs rampant, and the townspeople busy themselves with decorations as soon as they arrive from almost every other state. Many civilians love the holiday for the family. Some for the food. And even some simply for the economy. But some dislike Christmas for... other reasons.

In Auroris, there are many shops and stores that sell items that range from lickable-wrapping paper, to carolling toilet paper. However, there's one special shop that veers from this corporate holiday. Sitting down the road from the gates to the town, lies a cozy little clock shop, with clocks of all kinds ticking away. It sells other things of course, as the owner, wise old Tannenbaum, is also a carpenter, and makes many neat wooden trinkets for the kids, as well as for the adults (to give to their kids).

Skip to one week from Christmas. Snow is falling in sheets, and the streets are bustling with cheerful people from all over, enjoying the holiday cheer. The lights of a real christmas tree illuminate the clock shops display window, when they go out for a second. And in that second, something else appears. Next to the other wooden figures and nativity scenes, stands a Nutcracker soldier, tall and proud. This soldier was not carved, however. It was created from the whims of the universe itself, pulled into yet another loop of a story told many times...

The Legacy of the Wooden Soldier.

Hello everyone! So, in time for the christmas spirit, I've thought up an enchanting tale about the town that loves Christmas, the world where it knows nothing else, the legend that never ends and the man that wants it to stop. This story, however, will not be a retelling of The Nutcracker, or even the movie that Disney recently made. It will have inspiration, characters, and music from the ballet, but it is not the main storyline. Many other christmas related tales and traditions will be incorporated too, such as the origin of the holiday itself, and the things we've done on the special day for our enjoyment. If your interested, I'm hoping to make this a literate roleplay, with each person playing an important role in the Legend of the story. Hope you enjoy!
