"Hey there. Um, relax a bit and let everything in. Uh... I'm not exactly sure how to do this but you just got out of cryo-sleep. Take your time to get adjusted."
Ocelot spoke in a soft hushed voice as if talking to a newborn child. He didn't know what else to do but to try too comfort her. He didn't exactly remember the proper process of waking from cryo-sleep since he was taken from a wreck off the edge of an oasis miles away from Los Moros. He struggled with tearing his sight from her sapphire blue eyes. They reminded him of something pure, nothing he could think of recently. 'I could get out of this life with her and she can purify this bloodied soul I carry....' , he looked into her eyes and his hand pet her ankle, ' She's the key... ' Ocelot smiled and waited for her to regain her senses.

-----

The young woman could hear the echoing of Ocelot's voice, but it was soft enough to let her hear his words, whimpering a little from the return of her senses coming onto her all at once. She thought she could see his face a little clearer, a trembling cold hand starting to move up before her fingers brushed against his lips, touching his rough skin in curiosity. Her deep blue eyes glistened like gems as her eyes came to lock with his, feeling his calloused hand touching her ankle before she tried to speak, whimpering again to her gut twisting at the effort, curling up in a small ball with her hand still at his cheek.

"Uh... just take your time..." Ocelot said putting his hand over hers. Her hand was an offset to the heat of the desert town. He was confused onto what to do next. He waited beside her and just comforted her. He placed his hand over her back and watched her. 'This is.... awkward... I don't know.. what to do...' Ocelot remained silent and pulled her hand from his cheek and caressed it in his palm.

Feeling small beads of sweat form on her brow, the woman kept whimpering to her stomach doing somersaults in her gut, opening her eyes to the rubbing on her back with her hand being cradled by the warmth of the man watching out for her. Her blue eyes stared up to the man in silence, taking a moment to collect herself before she spoke. "Who...who...are...you?" she finally managed to speak out, happy and content she didn't vomit all over the furniture just from the effort alone.

Her voice was softer than he anticipated. Ocelot looked at her and put his other hand on her hand, clasping them over her hand. "I'm Ocelot. I don't know my name before I got here. What is yours?" He said with a saddened look. He hoped she remembered her name over this period of time. He looked around the room for a second and placed his gaze back upon this angelic being on his "couch".

The young woman kept shaking under the blanket before she panted at the warmth encompassing her small fragile hand, feeling the calloused skin brush against her flawless one. "I'm...I'm...S...Sage..." she breathed shakily, looking up to Ocelot to see the sad glint in his eyes. "Where...where...am I?"

"Well.. Sage. You are currently in Los Moros. On the planet Palaios, in the Angenion galaxy." Ocelot said. He wasn't trying to worry her. Ocelot was afraid to give her any more information right now. He was worried about how she was going to react to the news. He was afraid of how she was shaking. Ocelot didn't know how long this was going to take, but it was going to be beside her until she was ok.

"I'm...I'm not...on Earth?" asked Sage weakly, growing a little panicked as she glanced around the room, her vision blurring here and there before sitting a little upright, her face growing a little pale from sitting up too fast. Sage felt the blanket fall over her shoulders as she looked up towards Ocelot, a flood of memories slowly coming back into her mind as she started to tear up. "How...how many...humans are left?" she asked pitifully.

He adjusted the blanket around her and frowned as he looked into her teary eyes. "I'm... not sure. I hear there is a small colony of free humans. But I don't know if it exists... there are just us that I tend to come in contact with... and I've killed... over a hundred... humans..." Ocelot said as the grief washed over his face. He placed her closer to him to comfort her. Ocelot never felt the warmth inside him as he did right now. He was used to the cold feeling of tearing flesh from bone, snuffing the life under his fingertips, and ravaging the Eckhars that Nerin brought him. Ocelot wasn't sure who he was right now but he didn't like it.

Sage sniffed to Ocelot explaining a rumor of a small colony, her heart tightening in sadness. When did she not hear that story before? That lingering hope that there were pockets of humans in other locations...only to discover they were myths. More tears ran down her cheeks to the horrible news of Ocelot killing other humans...his face told it all. He had no other choice if he wished to live...she couldn't blame him for that. Leaning in closer to Ocelot, Sage's shaking hands touched his scruffy face and leaned her forehead against his, eyes closed as she succumbed to her tears. "I am sorry..." she sniffed.
