Left Conversation By Accident :/

Zhai

I don't want your lemons, Life! Take them back!
So I had a few conversations that were sitting in my inbox that I was trying to move into what I thought was a folder of some sort. Just so they weren't sitting in my inbox.

However, of the ones I selected there were a few that I didn't mean to leave! Is there a way to get them back? Or do I need to contact the recipient and just ask them to respond so it comes back my way? Will everything we wrote still be in it?

Thanks! :)

From my own experience, once you leave a conversation, the own cannot re-add you. They would have to recreate the entire message.

If you selected "Accept future messages" when you left the conversation then you will be re-added if someone in that PM creates a new message in it. Else you will need to remake it.

I clicked so quickly that I didn't notice if that was selected or not.

How does the other person re'add me? Do they just message me back or...?

What Pineapple is referring to is that if someone posts a new message in the conversation you left, you should be added back into the conversation. If you chose the option not to accept future messages, then the conversation will have to be recreated in order for you to be a part of it again. There is not way for a user to re-add you manually.

Then it's very likely it's not hopeless. Have someone in the PM submit a reply to it. You should be re-added. If not, then just remake it.

Ah, I understand.

Thank you very much! I appreciate both your input and assistance. I'm confident that accept future messages was selected, so I'll just have to be patient. (:
