Elekta Kount

Da Warboss

Current necessary roles are:
  • Commissar(Who probably will also be my Co-GM) - These men and women enforce morale over the rank-and-file troops with an iron fist and the occasional summary execution. Fortunately, the latter is reserved for Comrades and not other PCs. At least, not without good reason.
  • Tech-priest Enginseer - Enginseers wade into battle clad in thick armour, tending to the machine spirits of the Imperial Guard’s many war machines. Gets the most Aptitudes and is able to get his hands on some of the most effective gear the game has to offer before it even starts, so one can make a fair case for this buckethead being the most powerful of the bunch (though the Psyker might mutter some words of dissent into his non-existent beard once he's made it through the first couple of sessions).
  • Medic- Soldiers of the Imperial Guard who have been specially trained in combat medicine and are responsible for providing first response and front line medical care to their fellow Guardsmen on the battlefield. They are trained as combat medics, fighting chirurgeons equally at home with a medi-kit as they are with a Lasgun.
Current Specialists include(Though may be limited):
  • Brawler - A melee fighter, for players who are sick of being told Guardsmen can only beat Fire Warriors in close combat.
  • Breacher - An explosives specialist, the recommended class for black Scottish cyclopes. Seriously, they even paraphrased the demoman right under the word "Breacher" on the class page. Great for blowing up any-and-everything.
  • Field Chirurgeon - When keeping your squad mates "alive" simply won't cut it, Field Chirurgeons are soldiers who are meant to keep men fighting. Not quite as medically skillful as a true medic, but better than trying to tape your own arm back on.
  • Master of Ordnance - This class gives your comrade a mortar and gives you the responsibility of calling targets. Also allows for artillery strikes from orbital ships or basilisks once per encounter. Very useful if you're not in a building or voidship. Just try not to call it down too close to your position.
  • Scout - Guardsmen who navigate dangerous terrain, operate where they can't be seen, and act as... well, scouts. Scouts also make for silent knife kills of sentries.
  • Sentry - When not being stabbed by scouts, sentries are masters of defense. Effectively a one man heavy weapon squad, sentries dig in and can hold against hordes of enemies that would wipe out a less entrenched position.
  • Sharpshooter - Snipers without being Ratlings, Sharpshooters are masters of fighting at extreme ranges.
  • Tank Ace - Effectively a Sergeant for tank crews, Tank Aces can turn a Leman Russ into even more of a killing machine.
  • Ministorum Priest - Bringing the light of the God-Emperor to the battlefield, Ministorum Priests inspire the troops around them, not just with their preaching, but by fighting their foes with their massive Evicerator chainswords.
  • Sanctioned Psyker - Feared by their enemies and allies alike, the Psykers of the Imperium are capable of bending the roiling power of the Warp to their will - until that power breaks them.

Name: Emmanuel Ferres
Age: 35 (not sure if i got this right)
Gender: Male
Regiment: Valhallan Ice Warriors
Rank: Enginseer (Maybe I'll make a Sanctioned Psyker later?)
Class: Tech-priest Enginseer
Personality: Emmanuel is, as expected of a Tech-Priest, dedicated to his craft. He maintains a very heavy watch over his gear (An Omnissian Power Axe, a Las-pistol, and a deployable Tarantula Sentry Gun armed with dual heavy bolters), making sure that the machine spirit of each piece of equipment is pleased, as well as meticulously tending to the lasguns and equipment of his fellow guardsmen. If his inspections are complete, he will keep a vigilant eye on his fellow guardsmen to make sure they are not angering the machine spirits of their equipment. In general, Emmanuel is extremely meticulous in his work, which borders on perfectionism. Emmanuel extends the very same perfectionist attitude to Imperial vehicles and servitors in terms of maintenance and repairs, but notable only Imperial vehicles. The Enginseer's been known to try to beat xeno and heretical vehicles into bits.
On other notes, Emmanuel is friendly towards Iron Hands Space Marines. Nothing that'll pop up this RP, just something to be noted.
What is more likely to kick in is that Emmanuel holds the Cybernetica Datasmiths and their Kastelan Robot charges in great esteem.
Bio: Emmanuel Ferres has seen a lot of action, in only a short amount of time.. Ferres' life lead him to be an Enginseer without anything eventful, but past that... hoo boy.
Ferres first saw action when Orks ambushed a Leman Russ column that Ferres was attending to. Ferres vividly remembers dodging Ork sluggas as he dutifully tended to each vehicle, only bringing his Power Axe to bear on the Orks when they began retreating from said Leman Russ column.
After finishing escorting the column to their destination, the Orks returned with a vengeance, shouting their battle cries and waving slugga and shoota alike in the air. Ferres, after a short time of respite, suddenly found himself dashing from turret to turret as the Guard stationed there began returning fire upon the invaders. When the Orks were driven back, Ferres was still dashing around tending to the Guard's defensive structures until a confused Guardsman told him the attack was over.
Powers: None
Skills/Talents: Ferres is extremely skilled with repairs and maintenance of friendly equipment, as well as being slightly more dodgy than the normal Enginseer. Not by much though.
