Humans will always have war, even at the galactic scale. A group of people have chosen to run away from the oppressive government and find a new planet to call home. They've taken a ship as their own. The crew of the ship is a mix of soldiers, scientist, doctors, and much more. They need to work together to survive a new home, and the old home that doesn't want them to leave.

It had happened without anyone knowing. 2000 people gone in what seemed like an instant. People who were fed up with how they were treated and how war never ended. The people on that ship had no clue what was waiting for them but they knew it had to be better then what they were leaving behind. The unknown held promise, it held hope. Maybe it held peace as well. That was something worth running to.


Damon was a soldier. In a militaristic empire he started like all future soldiers did. He was sent to boot camp on a small planet with triple the normal gravity. He trained and lived there for two years. At fifteen he was moved to the capitol planet where he was trained for another two years. Then on his way to another planet for more training he came across a man who offered him a way out. That man was General Simon, one of the people who made this trip possible. The General offered him a new life. One where he didn't have to fight an endless war.


So here he was. On a ship with 1,999 other people. Yeah it was a little crowded but it was a huge ship. The ship had launched just that day from a moon of a border planet. People were still getting settled in and getting to know the place they were to call home for who knew how long. For Damon he just wanted some peace. His life had been constant training and drilling for four years. So he found a place near the back of the ship where the sound of the engines hum was soothing. He felt calm for the first time in a while.
