Hello. My name is Le Sigh. I am a new user to this site, but not to RP. I began roleplaying with the classic D&D 3.5 ed books when I was about 4 or 5. I got introduced to online roleplay at about 10 or 11, mostly on High School Sim servers on the infamous Roblox. (Please don't judge, I was only 10 and didn't understand what RP really was.) But eventually, I grew up and realized what I called "RP" was just a bunch of five year olds running around playing a bunch of Mary Sues who could kill everyone (or so they said), "edgy" demon teens and classic cookie-cutter mean girls. So I left that (thank the Gods), but my first REAL online RP began when I joined a site called Roleplay Gateway. It was a revolution; here I finally met people who were mature, motivated and expert in the (best kind of RP) Paragraph RP format. I was so happy, and I've been doing that since I was 13.
But recently, there have been a lot of issues and rumors. Several site shutdowns and crashes have put people on edge, and there has been less and less activity since it first started. The devs are doing everything they can to fix things and keep people together, and I'm with them still (just venturing out to explore other sites), but it is slowly dying. My friends, who are in the Divinity Unbound Private RP, decided to move here, and because I had an important role, I had to come along with. I'm sad to leave my other site behind (even though I'll still be somewhat active), but I am ambitious about this new site and what it has to offer.

Welcome to the site! Lucky this place has been pretty stable for a while so hopefully you won't feel like you have to move again any time soon! I came here as a refugee from the Fanfiction.net forums a few years ago after they got swarmed by spam-bots.
The site is really active and pretty easy to navigate so feel free to look around and see if anything catches your eye!

Welcome! I, too, used to roleplay on Roblox servers at a younger age, and when you mentioned edgy demon-teens, it brought back memories, lol. Hope you enjoy your stay!

Ah, I used to decal roleplay on Roblox until I moved to the roleplaying forums there and got hooked on text-based roleplaying. Once the forums merged and eventually shut down, I took a long break from roleplaying before meeting up with an old friend who told me about RPN, and I migrated here. So a similar story, I guess.
