I'm a dummy and new to this site and how it works so I somehow deleted the main tab while trying to edit the info on it and move what had been there to the "overview" section. I contacted staff to hopefully get it fixed. Main tab is back! As well as another IC thread since I requested one thinking it would fix the main tab issue. I guess we can reserve that for when/if we ever need it, but lets stick to "main" for now.
 
I sort of looked at my overview post as a "first post" for me, so if anyone else wants to start in the main thread they can. If no one does before I will come up another an alternative first post tomorrow night. No rush or pressure, though! (:
 
First post up! So excited! I am going to wait and see if anyone else posts since others have applied but if no one does by the time I check tomorrow I will do so and wait for others to join. (:

I thought deleting the main deleted the whole thread o_o.


I'm waiting for the next for my post... As in the next time someone orders something because... Waiter slenderman with a mouth and owl head time !


Also, is there a character limit ?

I am wondering but will you put up your post soon or will you not at all? It has been a pleasure to know that @DokiDokiYokai poured their soul into this role play and have the ones who were interested not interact at all or make it a reality. (I apologize if that sounds harsh but I find it true.)

Last time I wasn't informed of a roleplay, it was because someone gave me a mass-liking. I realized ti started almost a week later so it was too late to join; I could have, but everyone had made their posts, each post like five paragraphs long, a little more than two pages wrong, and I couldn't get my hands on a summary. I made a single post but nobody seemed to pay it any attention so I just *cough* bailed.

Also people always seem to try to bail out of roleplays in which they seem to be the only other person roleplaying. I mean, saying that you're no longer interested is all right, but just bailing out and leaving the others hanging until one asks you if you'll continue or not is quite... Rude.

"Hey all, try to remember to keep to post order unless the person who usually posts before you hasn't posted in a couple days. Just so the thread doesn't get too hard for everyone to follow! Basically look at your first post, look at whose post it right before it, and always post after that person (though you can react to/respond to any posts that came before yours). Hopefully that will make sure no one gets left behind! If it ends up not working I am willing to drop post order, but lets see how it does first." <- AKA if someone doesn't post within two days of when it's their turn go ahead and move to who should post right after them, etc. IF that doesn't work well around here we can drop it, I just thought we'd try it so no one gets on one night and is like: "Oh my, 45 posts to read to catch up on what is going on! I might just disappear..."


But it looks like most people are. To answer some questions: There is no character limit! I might close off the RP to accepting people after a good number of people are regularly active, just to keep it from getting too crazy. For right now we're good. (:
 
@overlordfangirl since you were the first to post in the thread that means you can post again whenever it appears that everyone who is going to actively join have (AKA the people talking on here), others who join will just fall into post order wherever their first post ends up. I know it's a little confusing while things are still open and accepting. D; Like I said, if it doesn't seem to be working we will just forget it. I will see how it works over the weekend and if it doesn't we'll just get rid of that rule on Monday or Tuesday.

It just means that anything that happened in ANY of the posts in the RP before it's your turn is something you can respond to. Like if someone kicked over a chair in a post, but your turn to respond wasn't until after someone else already responded, you could stilll go: "WHOA. THAT CHAIR WAS JUST KICKED OVER. HOLY SMOKES!".


Example:


Person one: *kicks over chair*


Person two: *responds*


You: *can also respond to chair being kicked over even though it wasn't in the post right before yours*.


Person 4: *can also respond to something person one did, or person two, or something you did*.
