Hello! Iโm Meadows and Iโm looking to get back into the swing of writing on a regular basis. I enjoy writing in all aspects โ from something like a little haiku to a full on mini-story โ so role-playing is naturally one of the things that I find myself drawn to these days. If youโd like to write with me, send me a message and Iโll get back to you.
โข Iโm 18+ in age. Although, I donโt mind my partnerโs age. As long as weโre on the same level of interest or maturity, Iโll write with you. No problem.
โข My replies read like a novel - third person, past-tense, multiple paragraphs.
โข I enjoy OOC as much as I do plotting, but itโs not a necessity. Tell me how your day went I donโt mind. We can trade hobbies, favourite shows, and headcanons.
โข Iโd prefer to keep all communications and RP on site. Itโs just more convenient for me to track down PMs rather than logging on multiple platforms.
โข Iโm ghost-friendly. It happens. No harsh feelings to be had here.
โข While I prefer quality over quantity, I personally like writing 5 paragraphs (500+ words) and onwards. Itโs just my own preference for more detail and immersion over a quick response. Iโm really sorry, but I just donโt do any daily, rapid fire responses (anything less than 3 paragraphs). I would greatly appreciate a partner who can reciprocate the effort.
โข I love plotting, world building, and character discussions. They are my meat and potatoes when it comes to RP so I hope to find a partner that just as enthused about this as I am.
โข I can write multiple characters - doubling or tripling friendly. I like seeing a variety of well-rounded characters and tend to write them as realistically (flaws and all) as I can.
โข I do write LGBTQA+ characters, but I encourage relationships aspects of all kinds from platonic, antagonistic to familial. Romance is nice when it develops naturally.
โข My mind is always open to genres and pairings so if you have ideas that youโd like to try or just have a craving towards something in particular, let me know so we can work out something that weโd both enjoy.

โฆ Genre/Themes: Platonic or Romance, Modern
โฆ Muse A has recently been in an accident. While they have survived, most of the body functions have been currently limited. As such, they require live-in assistance in a form of a nurse or care-taker. Thankfully, it just so happens that Muse B has been medically trained, but the catch is theyโre quite new. They donโt have much experience to draw on as of yet. Together, they stumble around their new life arrangements and they try to make the best of things. Unfortunately, in the future, Muse Aโs condition is looking bleak. Their condition worsens to a point where the doctor has advised for them to make future arrangements for their will and perhaps visit hospices. In a last effort to fulfill their bucket list, Muse A and Muse B go on a road trip to see the sights and take in the experiences before Muse A completely goes under.
โฆ Notes: Iโve based this plot loosely off the premise of the movie, Me Before You, and thatโs the vibe Iโm going for. Our characters definitely donโt have to be romantically involved, but I do wish for them to develop a close friendship.

โฆ Genre/Themes: Supernatural/Paranormal, Horror
โฆ Muse A and Muse B are strangers who happen to be just checking in to the hotel/motel in the middle of nowhere at the same time. Each on their way to a destination of their own, their momentary respite was only supposed to last one night. Nothing really eventfully happens in the evening, at least, neither noticed it the first time since they both fell asleep quite quickly.But things start to fall apart when they keep waking up in the middle of the night. Oddly enough, their phones state the time and date as the following day, but itโs still dark and itโs still night. Feeling stuck in eternal darkness, both try to check out, but the employees and other guests seems to have plans of their own. To keep them both there for eternity.
โฆ Notes: I just wanted to have a little spooky fun. We can really make monsters of our own with the guests and employees in this plot. They can be humans into occult practices, they could be Eldritch abominations, they can even be aliens in disguise. The premise is really simple, to escape, but it gets increasingly difficult each night they fall asleep. I was thinking that this would be a slow descent into insanity sort of thing.

โฆ Genre/Themes: Sci-Fi, Action/Adventure
โฆ Having lived most of their life in an underground bunker, Muse A is a human born experiment that has had their genetic code altered. The mutations in their genes make it so that they have developed some form of powers - telekinesis, liquid (blood, water) manipulation, etc. Tired of being in their technological cage, Muse A breaks out of the facilities. Suddenly, they experience the state of desolation of the world around them. The world wasnโt like the simple video simulations that the scientists portrayed it out to be. Itโs just pure wastelands - acid rain, broken buildings, dandelions blooming from the cracked asphalt, very little sign of life. In fact, some big foreign alien monster almost took off their head until Muse B came in to save them. A technologically enhanced warrior, their built in lasers in their arms, was quick to fire away at the monster. Muse B has left their tribe in search for supplies, but comes across Muse A. Unable to leave the seemingly defenceless Muse A alone, Muse B brings them along as they hunt. Unfortunately for them, Muse B gets injured during the process and now has to rely on Muse A to bring them back the the tribe alive. In the same way, Muse A quickly has to learn to use their powers in their new reality while Muse B recovers.
โฆ Notes: This is my take on mixing post-apocalypse with super powers. I think itโs a lot of fun, no? Let me know if youโre interested in plotting and world-building this with me. Iโd love to have another creative mind to write with.

โฆ Genre/Themes: Crime, Mystery, Potentially Historical (Jazz Age/Prohibition Period)
โฆ Muse A is a two-bit gumshoe/detective. They havenโt done anything too significant in their lives except solve minor mysteries - fishing out lost pearls from the gutters, peaching on wives because of their cheating husbands, finding out who stole grandmaโs bloomers on the clothesline. That was their full-time gig. That was until Muse Bโs case falls into their laps. Muse B was feeling threatened. Someone tried to bop/kill them on their way home afterwork. But the funny thing was, Muse B was a completely innocent/normal person. They were on the up and up and had no previous crime affiliations. Or so they thought.
โฆ Notes: I love detective and noir fiction. This could go into darker themes (like murder, serial killers, human trafficking, etc.) or it could be a little more light hearted in tone (like bank heists, casually finding out your dad was a mob boss, etc.). Iโm gonna leave it open here so we can decide on it together.

โฆ Muse A is an adventurer thatโs travelled far and wide to pursue their dreams. Theyโve conquered harsh tidal seas, arid dessert storms, and steep rocky mountains. They thought theyโve seen it all - that was until they met Muse B. In their journey, Muse A often dreamt about meeting their beloved, a beautiful creature thatโs been a nightly apparition in their minds until now. With Muse B standing in front of them, Muse A couldnโt help but reach out. Unfortunately for them, Muse B is less than enthralled by their reaction. In fact, Muse B even seems hostile against them. Itโs then that Muse A learns that Muse B has been dreaming about them as well. But dreams might not be the right word for it. It was more like nightmares. Muse B has nightmares of the extreme opposite of Muse A, with Muse A playing the main villain. Unsure of whom to trust, both make their journey towards the Oracle of the Times, as they try to understand why their fated meeting happened in the first place.
โฆ Notes: Iโm a huge sucker for slow-burn romances and enjoy the enemies to lovers trope once in a while so here it is wrapped into one. The Muses donโt have to be human, they can be elves, they can be shifters, they can be anything really. But I just wanted their relationship to unravel slowly as they shift their perspective to be on the same side.
