"Growf!"

This is an MxF Western romance set in the New Mexico Territory (Albuquerque).
A young man (early 20s) from the 22nd century finds himself suddenly stuck in the West. He has never been in the wilderness. He has never seen a cow or ridden a horse … or seen an outhouse. In his own time he was a genius. In the 19th century he will be like a child. The young man will be seen as someone from the East who should probably go back there.
“Sheer chance” will lead him to his salvation. I am thinking of either a big ranch with a ranch owner’s daughter who takes pity on him …. Or a lone woman with a small homestead (160 acres).
While he is incredibly childlike in his knowledge, he will prove to be a very quick study. He won’t give up.
Characters
I plan to run the young man. I need someone to run the woman.
Plot
This will largely depend on the woman. If you go with a rancher’s daughter, my character will have to contend with all the men around her (father, brothers, other ranch hands). If you go with the homesteader struggling to make it all on her own, he will have to contend with her, as well as any men in the area who think they are better than him (which would be just about any man).
