i'm the giant rat that makes all of the rules
Hey! I'm Vain, here to search for potential rp partners, looking forward to working with you!
I don't really feel like it's necessary to write down dozens of paragraphs about this and that, so I'll just lay out a few basic rules and get right to the interests/plots~
Tha Rules
Have you ever watched Hellsing Ultimate and thought, "wow, I wish I could do that?" Personally, I haven't, but writing about it seems just as fun! What I'm thinking is an unapologetic, shamelessly edgy and gory late 2000s anime with high caliber weapons, unnatural amounts of blood and vexingly unkillable protagonists. Fun is the keyword though, I don't want this to be an actual glorification of violence or bizarre revenge fantasy. Site rules should also be followed, so the gore should be described accordingly.
My current idea for this premise is a sorta dystopian world, where various dark religions battle for influence. Once again, we can discuss the setting at length if you're interested.
Oftentimes, heroes are not truly proactive. They react to the whims of the Dark Lord, whose wrath can be felt all across the continent, but... What if the Dark Lord is actually Capitalism? With the fall of feudalism, heroes are no longer like the valiant knights of old, acting instead like mercenaries to pay the bills. Those who refused to accept such service had to adjust differently, introducing the job of Peddler Hunter (working title.)
These brave souls scour the corners of the Earth to hunt for rare and mythical ingredients, selling them to the highest bidding alchemist, cook or blacksmith. Single-handedly, they keep the legendary item market alive, for who else is going to pluck the feathers off a living phoenix? Essentially, a slice-of-life/adventure story about a caravan selling highly prized, exotic goods.

Tha Rules
- Good grasp on the english language
- Ability to respond at least once or twice a week and move stuff forward
- Actual interest in the final plot
- The decency to admit further disinterest if it comes
- Follow site rules, duh!!
Yea, that's right, popular multimedia franchise Touhou in all its... predominantly doujin glory. Not sure if I wanna tackle any canons, but it sounds fun to throw a few characters into the mystical world of Gensokyo and see what happens. (An accident, probably.) I don't have that much of a vision, but it can definitely be talked out if you're interested. ty for coming to my fumo talk
It is the year 2021, still nobody knows what Evillious is. I'll spare myself the trouble of trying to explain that franchise (there's a 101 video on YouTube and it's 2 hours long), and just settle for the general feeling in a separate, original universe. In short, I'm interested in playing out a Noir plot in a light fantasy setting, with demons, mages, unholy pacts and elements of religion (potentially.) I have a few plot ideas in mind, from a classic cult investigation, to a little bit of organised crime.
Oh, and if you're a part of the three-member Evillious fandom.......
well.....

Beneath the blazing Sun of the desert, thousands scurry past the winding sands to arrive at the gates of the temples. Offering guidance, sanctity and healing, these vast sandstone complexes are integral political units in the jurisdiction of many rulers. However, when war breaks out, their positions becomes much more fickle. In this setting, our characters are members of one such temple, faced with the intrigues and travesty of war. On top of all that, the new head of the temple seems really out of it.
A high fantasy, Fire Emblem inspired plot. Currently, I'm not that interested in it, but I'll still write it down in case that changes.

A slice-of-life plot, where a middle-class tax-payer (...unless?) takes pity they shouldn't on a sorry-looking street urchin and takes them home. Classic slice-of-life (slife?) shenanigans ensue. We can talk about the semantics, but I think the strength of the premise is how simple, yet effective it is. Once again, I'll gladly play either role.
