Last Wish
Last Wish stands for the corporation which employs the elite of the elite in the fields of assassination, hacking, space exploration and even world wars. There are no specific rankings, the only thing that will be updated on their passes will be their years of service there. However, they receive the status of veteran only after a mere five years which is impossible to achieve at other companies. This is because employees come and go due to the intensive training and missions they have to follow through. Once they leave however, they won’t ever be hired back. It is situated in Seoul, South-Korea which is currently the most advanced city on Earth.
State Identification Number
SIN is the identification card number. At the time of registration (usually birth) a citizen number is assigned. This number is the source of all record keeping and benefits assignment, if any exist. A personal DNA pattern is also mapped at this time.
Without it a citizen cannot get a passport or driver’s license, register to vote, or apply for any type of job within the country. An out of country SIN may be used for stays of less than 30 days. If the person wants to move to another country, their SIN card must be turned in and a new number is issued. Without this card they cannot even rent decent living quarters.
The SIN is the only way the country can keep track of its taxpayers. To retain a SIN, the citizen must pay an average of ten percent of his wages in taxes. This pays for roads, police, and the other expenses of infrastructure. Part of this money is paid to the Federal Government for its programs. There are no deductions or reductions in tax. Corporates that support, or trade services with, countries and municipalities sometimes get their employees exempted. Military personnel on active duty are exempted (consequently their salary is 10-20% lower than average, as is the case with all exempted employees). Benefits and perks paid fully by the employer are not considered taxable income – no Corporation would ever agree to that.
Data Fortress
Data Fort is simply a computer system. It is a 3D representation of that computer within the Net. The specific form the fortress takes depends on the system it is hosted in… as with icons, more realistic environments will require more resources (memory). The default rendering for data fortresses looks like something similar to Tron. But they can be as elaborate and photo-realistically detailed as The Matrix. You could make your data fortress look like a castle, or a cruise or a space station. Within the data fortress, the sysop (System Operator… the person in control of the Data Fort) determines what it looks like. The only limitations are the system’s own resources.
Data Fortresses have data walls. These represent how hard it is to enter the system. Data wall strength will depend on the amount and quality of resources of the system. There are programs that can penetrate data walls and allow a Netrunner to move through them. All Data Fortresses have code gates (which will be rendered as actual doors, or something similar), which are the normal way of getting inside a system’s data walls.
Within the Data Fortress, various parts of the system will be rendered in intuitive ways. For example, files may be stored in a locked office (a section of memory in the system) in what looks like an actual filing cabinet. So, your icon would open the filling cabinet and take out the file… giving you access to the information.

They are Medical Procedures done to Humans from 2045 to the present. In this Medical Procedure a Human can come to the clinic with a missing arm and walk from the store with an artificially made new arm.
