Full Name: John Hefter

Nickname: Gunslinger

Gender: Male

Age: 26

Physical Appearance:

gaming_call_of_juarez_gunslinger.jpg

Jesse is rugged looking and a little scruffy. He has a thin layer of stubble on his face, his left cheek is sliced through with a rough looking scar that he got as a child. He has almost shoulder length brown hair that is always hidden under a hat. On the rare occasion he does remove his hat, you can see that he is starting to go grey.

He often wears a poncho; it was given to him on one of his 'trips' to Mexico, where one of the Indians gave it to him as a keepsake. He rarely smiles and has a serious face. He is about 6ft 9in tall and weighs 242 pounds, almost all of it is muscle, except of course the few extra pounds he has put on having spent most of his time in the saloon recently.

His eyes are a cold grey colour; they seem distant and drained of life, perhaps they are, he has seen many things that no man should see.

Nationality: American

Job / Profession: Outlaw, stealing, robbing, savaging.

Personality and interests: Jesse is a cold hearted man. He is distant and covered in emotional defences that makes it hard for anyone to get close to him. He is rude and ungrateful and will take anything he wants without asking. He has a temper that is often released in the saloon at the end of a rough week when he downs half a bottle of moonshine and picks a fight with an unknowing idiot. He always wins.

The one thing he is sentimental about is his Mother's necklace. He gave it to him to keep him safe as a child, and he has never taken it off since. He seems to think it has brought him good luck since then and will never remove it. It is also the one thing he is superstitious about too.

Jesse doesn't like to get personal with anyone. His lifestyle makes it difficult to have many friends and his personality doesn't exactly put him at an advantage. On the whole, he is cold to people.

A big anger for Jesse is when someone harms a woman. If he sees anyone hurting a woman, he will stop at nothing to punish them. He sees men, except himself, as evil, cruel creatures. If he was to get along with anyone, it would be a girl, though it is unlikely.

Jesse likes to be the big guy in every situation. As he thinks all other men are awful, he likes to be the alpha male, in any situation.

Jesse dislikes many things, but he enjoys travelling. He likes going from place to place, country to country. He secretly likes to see new cultures and lifestyles. It helps him get away from his own reality.

Talents, Abilities, Skills: Jesse is extremely skilled with a pistol and a shot gun. With his pistol, he can aim many metres away from him and hit the intended object, but with a shotgun, he mostly just likes to shoot close range, and there isn't really much to it. He is also great at hand to hand combat, punching and hitting and kicking. It isn't something he uses much, but he likes to keep it as an option.

History: Jesse was born in Mexico. His parents were not Mexican, but they spent a lot of time there. As a boy, he travelled a lot, his Father was an inventor and had to get around to show off his products. He enjoyed travelling, though, and ultimately made him a more intelligent man. His Mother was a calm and patient woman who treated him with trust and gave him responsibilities. His Father loved them both, and he had an altogether wonderful childhood.

When Jesse was 16, he wanted to begin to work for himself. His parents gave him a sorrowful farewell as they dropped him off in a ranch, where he would work for six months and his parents would pick him up at the end of his contract.

This is where it all went down hill. His employer was disgustingly patronizing towards him and treated him as though he was simple minded. He became depressed on the ranch and spent the rest of his job cowering on his bunk. He often saw his boss beat his wife and daughter, whom he was deeply in love with. Her Father would have killed him if he knew, but luckily for Jesse, Emily, the ranch owners daughter, slept in the room adjacent to the bunk house, so he could ponder at her beauty every night.

On the last week of his work, he went into the barn. It was late, and he was tying up his horse. He didn't expect anyone to be in there, bu upon hearing an ear piercing scream, he ran into an empty horse stall. Sickeningly, the ranch owner was forcing Emily's head into a trough of water. He panicked, bu he knew this was his chance. As the man turned around, Jesse thwacked him over the head with a spade. The man went toppling down onto Emily, making a sickening cracking sound. He pushed the man away and grabbed Emily, stroking he lovely wet, blonde hair behind her ears. But she was out cold. In killing the man that he hated most, he had killed the girl he loved the most.

Jesse didn't wait for his parents. He left the ranch that very evening, and trusted no one ever again.

No historical figures please. I guess I should have mentioned this. Original characters only. If only the name is historical, then just alter the name. I just don't want to fill a town with Annie Oakleys, Buffalo Bills, Billy the Kids, etc. Gunslingers are fine. We'll need several, whether main characters or NPC's. I have two ... and Sharlene has one ... that we plan to post soon.

Really bad connection, so not so sure we'll get them posted today. Took 15 min just to log in.

Also ... change weapon to Colt Patterson. The Peacemaker didn't come out until 1873. This is 1872. The Patterson is the one the Texas Rangers swore by and put on the map.

Josie Anne Smith

(changed from Lady Josephine Pennington)

Nickname(s):

Gender: Female

Age: 25

Physical Appearance

5'6" slender build, long jet black hair, brilliant sea green eyes.

Still speaks with a British accent, but with a worldly diversity from years growing up on other continents. She is doing her best to drop her accent, but it will come out thickly when upset.

Nationality: British

Job / Profession: School Teacher

(as the funding program set up in 1833 is woefully inadequate, she will be self funded.)

Rank/Title

None claimed. But she is, in fact, the daughter of a wealthy British family that holds an inherited chivalric title.

Personality and interests

Feminist. Generous. Driven to further education. Has a habit of correcting grammar. Finds men who can't hold their liquor annoying. Accustomed to finer living and struggling to adapt to the Wild West. (It aint all that wild yet lady. It's jes gettin' warmed up.) Detests snobs, wealthy folks who think money makes them better than others, or worse yet women who think the money their husbands make makes them better than others. She also detests slavery or the treatment of any race as inferior.

Currently she has a particularly low opinion of bankers.

Favourite Sayings

"Yes Bill."

Talents, Abilities, Skills

See her History. Knowledgeable in business, coal mining, geology, chemistry - though she is hardly some doddering professor.

She speaks a number of languages. Latin and French were absolutely required. She picked up languages wherever she traveled as a girl (India, Middle East and Africa).

History

Josie was the only child of a very wealthy entrepreneurial coal mine operator and investor in British Tea and the expansion into Africa. She was doted on by her family, given private tutors, sent to the finest boarding school at age 16 and eventually Oxford at 18 - despite the university being the bastion of male dominance. In those days, women received little or no accreditation for their studies, not even allowed to take exams through the undergraduate level. But Josephine had attended for her own interests.

Then Josie's father decided to marry her off to a very wealthy banker's son as part of the formation of a dynasty. The son, Jonathan Whittemore, was a snob and a royal twit who expected Josie to never work a day in her life - not counting the children he wanted. So she took the only sensible course of action she could take. She took a boat to America.

Her suitor hired the Pinkertons to track her down, claiming she had stolen from him - a set of jewelry worth a small fortune. Far from the truth he had presented it to her while trying to patch their relationship, still unable to take no for an answer. She had her own small fortune tucked away in the american banking system safe from family and suitors.

She bought her horse, Anthracite, by trading the bejeweled necklace worth a few times what a horse should have cost. Then she departed for parts unknown, changing her name in the process.

Upon arrival in town Josie made quite a name for herself. She first managed to garner support from the local preacher for her schoolhouse project by making a tidy donation to his cause - a better church. The preacher didn’t especially care for an educated women, but at least she was a goodly woman. Josie’s next move was to meet a former soldier and Texas Ranger by the name of Bill who was down on his luck. The man couldn’t even afford a gun. Josie offered to buy him one in exchange for some shooting lessons. The town would never forget those lessons as she held them at the site of her new school house - where kids and workers could all see. She had everyone ducking for cover.

But the story didn’t stop there. No, indeed. Josie’s fiance and the Pinkerton’s caught up with her in Bangs and all collided in what became a throw down at the saloon during a card game. This might have saved her life as she was suffering from a serious streak of Beginner’s Luck and the men folk were getting suspicious.

That was the night before the quake.

Gear:

Anthracite - Pure Black Carthusian Andalusian stallion, a trained war horse that is a bit past his prime. She rescued him from darker fates and has been pampering him. He has saved her life more than once already - once from a rattler, once from Indians, once from bandits. So long as she can afford it he will get spoiled.

Nickname(s): Fiery Spirit (indian name)

Gender: Female

Age: 28

Physical Appearance

5'8" fiery redhead (cut a little short), emerald green eyes.

Typically dressed in buckskins with a distinctly Indian look to them. Carries an Apache tomahawk, hunting knife, and a pair of Colt Pattersons (1842). She did have a couple Prussian flintlock dueling pistols, but hocked them.

Russian accent that has finally begun to fade.

Nationality: Russian

Indian Tribe: Mesquite Apache (adopted into a tribe - same place she learned Apache and received the Palomino)

Job / Profession: Doctor / Veterinarian

Rank/Title

Doctor (and Countess or Baroness ... sort of)

(technically never officially recognized ... being a woman and all, but to do want that bullet outta ya or not?)

Personality and interests

Brilliant scholar and about a century ahead of her time socially. Stays abreast of all the latest discoveries in medical science. Also fanatically obsessed with other sciences - especially natural sciences and astronomy. Speaks, reads and writes English better than most Americans. Also speaks German, Latin, Arabic, Greek, Mandarin and Cantonese, Apache, Cherokee, plus Navaho, and some other Native American tongues.

Thinks British are stuffy and arrogant. Americans on the other hand are an odd mix of crude and crass, with free spirited.

She will treat ANY patient regardless of race, species, color or religion. She does, however, expect to be paid for her services, though she will adjust her fees to the situation. She abides by patient confidentiality. And she will not tolerate any man or woman seeking to harm a patient under her care.

She doesn't care much for whiskey, save for its medicinal values.

Talents, Abilities, Skills

History

Born in what we know today as Lithuania to modestly wealthy "businessman" (what would become known during the era of the Soviet Union as Thief in Law - or Russian Mafia). He father tried to send her to Germany as a trade concession at age 16, but she rebelled. Already well schooled despite her father's every effort to keep her uneducated she agreed to go to Germany if she was permitted to attend a university first and complete her studies before being forced to marry. She confessed an interest in veterinary medicine.

Her fiance, Johann von Grossenburg, refused any financial obligations until he was married, so a standoff resulted. While she attended college her family's fortune began to dwindle. Her father had been counting of the union to legitimize the family fortune. What he didn't know was that the baron was a bastard son of a Baron and was making do on a hush fund from his father. But the man had agreed to a sizable estate holding if he could secure a wife of fine upbringing and estate.

Kasey soon found her only avenue of escape was to America. Enraged the Baron followed. Already a skilled marksman and swordsman, the Baron has turned gunslinger in pursuit of his future wife. He'll kill any man who gets in his way and has taken very well to the way of the West. He will lie and cheat as needed, though he wants very much to appear honorable - so he has his limits.

In her travels Kasey has endured considerable hardships. But perhaps her hardest trial was when she was taken in by the Mesquite Apache. She had been recognized from her efforts to aid other Apache at a reservation. She also spent some time as a healer along the railroads as she worked her way west.

Upon arrival in Bangs, Kasey ran into the usual prejudices with setting up a doctor’s office. The bigot of a Mayor refused to give her a license to set up a doctor’s office at first. So she changed it to Veterinarian - and those not welcome at the other doctor’s shop. Word of mouth did the rest. While it was tough at first, she soon found she had enough business to make a solid go at it. Of course, in doing so, she has begun to make enemies.

First lines of the wiki link ... hehe .... The Colt Single Action Army which is also known as the Single Action Army, SAA, Model P, Peacemaker, M1873, and Colt .45 is a single action revolver with a revolving cylinder holding six metallic cartridges.

About the Colt Paterson (from the wiki)

Compared to the later Colt Percussion Revolver designs, the Paterson is ergonomically flawed but, even with the odd bell-shaped grip and jutting trigger, the revolver points reasonably well and delivers useful accuracy. That Samuel Colt intended the revolver to be accurate is evident because of the rifled barrel and the extra long accessory barrels present in some cased sets. Using modern-day Uberti replicas, the usual expectation is that careful, one-handed shooting will produce groups of 2–3 in (5.1–7.6 cm) at 60 ft (18 m).

The Number 5 Belt Revolver would be an effective weapon to 50 yd (46 m) with ideal shooting conditions though, from a moving horse, the useful range would be measured in feet.
One more small tidbit. The Remington 1100 is ca 1963 ... lol .. rather modern. I'll suggest the Remington 1867 or Springfield 1871 (made via royalties to Remington). While the latter was never popular with the US Army, it was one of the better shotguns of its time. (The 1870 model was found faulty and sold off to other countries. The rear sight was set in a bad position. Of course that might be why he didn't care much for the shotgun. Maybe he got ahold of one once.)

Anyways ... all characters approved so far. (Just need to update the weapon. I am at least TRYING to be historical.)

Full Name: Rose Jackson

Nickname(s): N/A

Gender: Female

Age: 26

Physical Appearance:

Rose stands at 5'7" with long blonde hair and blue eyes. She speaks with a typical southern drawl. She usually wears a white blouse tied around her upper chest with a small leather coat on top. She wears leather pants which cover over her legs. They are fringed into strips at the bottom. On her sides she wears two holsters where she keeps her Remington Model 1861 Armies. On her feet, she wears atypical cowboy boots with spurs on the heels. Atop her head she wears a wide, sombrero style hat.

Nationality: United States of America

Job / Profession: Formerly Texas Ranger, Town Sheriff

Personality and interests:

Stubborn. Reckless. Wild. These are words used to describe Rose Jackson. Rose tends to be a loose cannon, doing what she sees fit when she sees fit. She struggles with this side of herself as she works as a law woman.

The heart often leads Rose's mind. She can be ruled by her emotions. It's not uncommon for her to be blinded by friendship, a romantic partner, or ally. Because she has a level of trust or love for that person, she can oblivious to their faults or true intentions. She relies on others to point such things out to her.

Rose wouldn't consider herself a feminist, but she has proven time and time again that she is as good as any man when it comes to two things: firing guns and catching criminals.

She is a natural conversationalist. She is always quick to make an new friend or ally; however, she is not afraid to cross words with those who hold her in contempt.

Rose has a lifelong passion to combat injustice wherever it should arise. In addition, she's passionate about horses and her weapons. She loves to go on a long horse ride simply for the sake of riding. In free time, she can be found cleaning and repairing her guns, ensuring that are in pristine condition.

Talents, Abilities, Skills:

Rose has lived the life of a Texas Ranger. She knows how to handle herself and her horse on a trail, living off the little and moving constantly.

She has spent extensive time on horseback and is as good on a horse as she is on her own two legs.

Rose is quite the gunslinger. It is her aim that her earned her the respect of the Texas Rangers and the town. Many a man has already met their death by her guns. Many more will still follow.

Because of interest in guns, Rose knows how to clean and take care of a weapon, as well as how to repair it. While not as skilled as a trained gunsmith, she can at least "make it fire," even if it isn't a pretty as before.

Discernment is one of Rose's strong suits. She is able to judge most situations objectively and come to a wise decision. Spotting a liar is one of her specialties.

History:

Rose's family is related by blood to famous Stonewall Jackson. Her family had wielded much power prior to and during the Civil War. There was little doubt among the family as what Rose would be: a southern belle. Fate, however, had other plans.

When the Civil War began, her three brothers and father went off to fight with the Confederacy. At home remained Rose, her ten year old sister, and aging mother. Rose was placed with the burden of protecting the family's lands and cattle. During this time, she gained much experience in horseback riding and skill with pistols. Often bored while watching cattle, she would setup targets and see how accurate she could be from various ranges and on horseback. Rose grew to love the life of a ranger.

Then, the Civil War ended and her father and one brother came home. The Union was not kind to her family, taking their land, properties and valuables. Rose wanted to help work, but her father, a misogynist, said that no woman would do work for him under his roof. In fact, he planned to marry her off like a southern belle to a wealthy northern family.

Rose refused to allow herself to be manipulated in a such manner and in a stubborn act of defiance grabbed her things, packed up her horse, and left in the middle of the night. It was several months later that she stopped at a tavern in Bangs, Texas. She had been asking for work when all the sudden the tavern was attacked by an outlaw. With the entire tavern held up, Rose was discretely grab a bottle of whiskey and creep up behind the man when he wasn't looking. With one swift thrust, she broke the bottle on his head, sending him falling to the floor unconscious. That man was Robert Thatcher, one of the most dangerous men in Texas. By the time the Texas Rangers showed up on the scene, Robert was already in jail.

Amazed at such bravery and skill the Texas Rangers offered Rose to ride with them. And so Rose did for several years, becoming one of the most well-respected and well-known Texas Rangers. However, after a few years she decided that she needed to find a place for herself. So she left the Texas Rangers and setup a home in Bangs, Texas. She worked protection at the local tavern where she had stopped Robert Thatcher. She handled her job so well that before long she was the Town Deputy, and when the old Sheriff stepped down she was promoted to Town Sheriff.

Since becoming Town Sheriff, Rose has worked tirelessly to earn the respect of her peers. Under her watch, crime had fallen 12% and murders had fallen 34%. Rose had finally gotten the town to a relatively law-abiding level, but then the earthquake happened...

Physical Appearance:
Carjat_Arthur_Rimbaud_1872_n2.jpg

Scrawny, thin, dirty.

Nationality: English

Job / Profession: Paper boy

Personality and interests: He is sweet, quiet, gentle and friendly. He will stare at an object for a long period of time before he asks for any, for instance, if he saw candy he would sit there and stare until someone gave it to him. He loves toys, like any boy would, his favorite being his stuffed bear his father bought him for one of his birthdays, the last one before his mother left them.

Talents, Abilities, Skills: He can mimic anyone, do anything they do, and play out a scene to the last detail after watching it one time. He can barely walk, and runs instead because if he stands one one leg for two long it will buckle under him and he will fall down. He is fantastic aim as well, never held a gun before but is amazing with a sling and some stones.

History: Robby, at a young age, was born with a mental issue called Autism. At the time, little to no people knew what autism was, and shunned him as a crazy person. No one really trusted a 6 year old boy wobbling back and forth on his knees and babbling to his drunken father as if he himself were drunk. His mother, Annabelle McCarthy

0a2a86cbcbf97fdf78aa99161cbfac94.jpg

, fled from her home after finding out her son had this strange issue, being a proud woman she was, and with her royal background from England, she couldn't take the chances of such a thing.

His father, Johnathan McCarthy

, met Annabelle in England on one of his trips from Scotland. He fell in love instantly, not only with her but her money as well, and the two set off to the old west to find a new home. Robby was the main issue why the two broke up, and his father soon blamed him, beating him constantly and making the poor child go without food on occasions.

Robby didn't understand, like most things he didn't and just thought he was doing something wrong. He would wake in the morning, gather his papers and walk barefoot to each house, either setting the paper on the counter or investigating towards the owners house. He doesn't talk about his abuse, he only speaks highly of his father and how much he loves him.

Gear: He has a pack mule that he keeps around when going down towards other buildings farther out in the country. He keeps his teddy at hand, a water sack and his sling.

Nationality: Irish

Job / Profession:

"I make people happy."

Bartender / Inn Keeper

Personality and interests

Mickey's the kind of guy who can sit down and talk with someone for hours on end without ever seeming disinterested. He's always lively and full of cheer, and has never been one to close the Red Mare down until everyone is ready to leave. He doesn't care who you are or where you came from, just that you're willing to pay for your drinks. He only has one complaint with women, and it's that they just don't appreciate whiskey the way he does.

Talents, Abilities, Skills

Bartending

Horse Riding

Brawling

Moderately skilled shooter

Swing Dance

Piano Player

History

Mickey is the first and only child of his Irish immigrant parents. He grew up in New York in a small, tightly knit Irish community that was often the subject of persecution. He grew up poor, working alongside his parents in a textile factory with awful working conditions. For Mickey, the future seemed grim and hopeless.

When the Civil War came around, he was only 15 but desperately wanted to serve and prove the worth of the Irish to the rest of America. In 1864, towards the end of the war, his wish was granted when his parents allowed him to sign up. He joined a New York volunteer regiment and was placed in the cavalry. He served under Tecumseh Sherman and participated in the infamous March to the Sea. His unit was sent up to Virginia before Sherman's March ended, and arrived in time to fight in the brief battle of Appomattox Court House. Being a member of the Cavalry, Mickey was among the honor guard that accompanied Grant for the surrender meeting.

With the war over, Mickey needed a new way to occupy himself. He'd looted a few plantation manors during the March, and decided he had enough money to go west and set up a tavern. He rode west with his war horse, Red, and finally settled in the town of Bangs, Texas. He bought the saloon off it's previous owner for more than it was worth, changed the name, then set up shop himself. He's been there a couple years now, brewing up his own alcohol and giving the local deputies enough drunk men to occupy the jail cell.

Gear:

And thar's a new Sheriff in town ... and her name's Rose. (ricochet sounds) Approved.

There's an outlaw up there too - though he still needs to update the shotgun to a period model. Story wise, a shotgun is a shotgun.... Who REALLY cares what model it is? If it fills you with lead, that still hurts ... a lot.

((Straight from Brokeback Mountain. I'm just kidding, I love that film.))

Nationality: American.

Job / Profession: Dishwasher at the Bar.

Personality and interests: James doesn't speak very often, as in he will have a conversation with you, but is unlikely to start one unless you are his friend. He prefers to listen to the conversations of others and learn rather than voice his own opinions. When he does, it is very carefully considered as not to offend anyone as he is very bad at fighting. He is very timid and is not good at standing up for himself, he enjoys playing piano and has a love of classical music, especially Wagner. He is also quote religious, and wears a wooden cross his mother made him around his neck at all times.

Talents, Abilities, Skills

Playing the Piano, fixing mechanical things. He is also relatively good at shooting, as well as riding a horse.

History

Most children have a reasonably nice childhood. A little hardship can make a man. Too much will break him. I'm afraid the latter is what happened to James. He was born to a poor family on the outskirts, and his Father beat him frequently. His mother killed herself when he was ten, leaving no protection from his father and his brutal beatings. When he was 14, he finally broke, causing him to pick up a shard of glass from a bottle that had been a few hours earlier thrown at his head, and cut his abuser's throat. Horrified at what he had done, he buried the body and said to the town that he had found his father dead, and buried him out of respect. He got a job at the bar as a dishwasher, as well as a general cleaner for the bar, and he works as much as possible, due to not having much else to do, plus his classical music records are very expensive. Now and then, if you watch very closely, you may see him do the dishes a little too hard, as if he's trying to wash away the guilt of the murder he committed so long ago, trying to repent for what he had done in anger and hatred.

Gear: Sharps .30 cal Pepperbox Pistol, 4 barrelled.

Full Name: Ryan Andrew Comstock

Nickname(s): The Rattlesnake

Gender: Male

Age: 26

Physical Appearance: He is a big man, easily clearing 6 ft and with his lean and lithe build, he truly is an intimidating sight. He keeps his black hair wild and unkempt, while he trims his beard every so often. His piercing green eyes is quite beautiful, like the eyes of a snake before it strikes. He was born with a speech impediment, causing him to hiss some words and letters. This, and the fact that he can draw a gun faster than you can say "fire", is what earned him his nickname.

Nationality: American

Job / Profession: Outlaw, Gunslinger, Bandit

Personality and interests: For a bandit, he is quite the charmer. He is charismatic and charming, a smile ever so present in his face. He has a laid back and easy going personality, not really taking things too seriously. He is blunt and straight forward, both with his words and his fists. Though he is a bandit, he believes that lies and deceit are the weapons of a coward, which is why you can expect him to tell you the truth. Though his temper is short, it dies as fast as it starts.

Talents, Abilities, Skills: He is skilled with his guns, able to accurately shoot a standing or a moving target. He is also quite the horse charmer, able to tame the wild Mustang the gang he was part of kept, which he named Sandstorm. Though he may seem like a brute and a savage, he is actually smart and a quick thinker. He is also a skilled tracker, having learned it from an Apache friend. His skills in trapping helps him survive in the harsh desert.

History: Ryan was born in a rich family, his father a wealthy merchant and his mother a scholar who is also the daughter of a mayor. Life had gone well for him, his parents raised him up well, giving him the comfort and luxury every child should have, but so few actually have. His mother also tutored him, not wanting him to grow dull and stupid and he was a protege, a smart kid as sharp as tack. All is well for him, until that fateful day.

He was 16 at the time, his mother and he had just been through with the lessons of the day and was preparing for a snack, when suddenly, his father rushed in the room and told them to hide in there. It turned out, a band of outlaws have surrounded the house, and they have killed all the servers and laborers in the house, only leaving him and his parents. They all hoped that the bandits would just leave, but sadly, they stormed the house. They killed both his parents, but not before torturing his father and raping his mother. It had all been traumatizing for the boy.

But the leader of the bandits, a scumbag name John Silver, wanted more entertainment. He challenged Ryan to a duel, a gun have been given to each of them with only one bullet in the chamber. Silver was confident that he would win, knowing that Ryan have probably never held a gun in his entire life. And so the duel commenced, and when the guns were fired, all were shocked to see Silver drop, his chest pierced by the bullet before he even shot his gun. Impressed by his skills, the bandits took him in, raising them to be one of them.

Gear:

2 pairs of Colt Pattersons

1 Winchester M1873

A pair of hunting knives

He also have with him a blowdart, the dart contains the venom of a pit viper.

A Mustang named Sandstorm

James Anderson - Approved, though I am leery of his ability to interact with the plot. But I love surprises.

Ryan Andrew Comstock - also approved. Might want to have had him keeping a low profile, not trying to get a bounty on his head. At least two former Texas Rangers and a pair of Pinkerton's in town. And one of those Rangers has lost count of the men he's killed many years ago.

Edit: and almost forgot. It was 1872. A Remington 1873 ... hasn't been put on the market yet.
